Chapter 559 Reverse Charge

As Elliott uttered the last syllable, the spatial equipment at his waist suddenly lit up!

A golden stream of light, condensed to its extreme, pierced through the thick fog and suddenly erupted from his core!

boom--!

It's not an explosion, but extreme acceleration!

As if pushed hard by an invisible giant hand, the holy light field surrounding the team broke the sound barrier instantly!

All that remained was a rapidly spreading shockwave and a thick fog that had been forcibly pushed aside, as well as a golden trail that pierced straight into the depths of the withered bone forest and vanished in an instant!

Where they stood, only a brief vacuum created by the sudden loss of air and a mess of mud remained.

"Roar—! Stop that light! Don't let them escape with the sacred artifact!"

Kargath, the legendary orc warlord, was enraged in the high-altitude battle, his furious roar drowning out the roar of the battlefield.

The surging green tide below instantly boiled over, and countless orc warriors, their eyes bloodshot, desperately tried to intercept the fleeting golden light, their formation inevitably pressing towards the withered bone forest.

Now!

In the shadow of the pile of bones, Mark turned his gaze from the receding golden light to the two people who had temporarily joined him.

Kyle frowned, staring intently at the orcs' exposed flanks due to the chaos.

The flames on Ruby's flail burned silently, illuminating her taut jawline.

"There's no time to explain, just trust me and don't resist!"

Mark spoke at an extremely fast pace, and the seven-colored black light magic surged silently within his body.

Two beams of almost solidified, seven-colored black "holy light" shot out instantly, accurately piercing Kyle and Ruby's backs.

"Well!"

Kyle groaned, a chilling sense of detachment suddenly assaulting his limbs and bones, as if an invisible hand had forcibly seized a portion of his life force, causing the Holy Light of Judgment to fluctuate violently on his body in response.

Ruby shuddered, the flames dimmed abruptly, and she glared at Mark with a mixture of shock and anger: "What are you doing...?"

“Something that needs to live!” Mark interrupted her, his voice firm and resolute.

At the same time, he blessed both of them with 'Holy Light Healing■' and 'Holy Light Protection■'.

Ignoring the astonishment and suspicion surging in their eyes, he turned to Monica and hissed, "Shadow Veil!"

Monica's hands danced like butterflies flitting among flowers, and the shadow magic she had prepared beforehand spread like ink dripping onto water.

A dense shadow, carrying the decaying aura unique to the Necropolis Swamp, coiled around the six members of the team as if it were a living thing.

It perfectly swallowed their outlines, aura, and even the reflection of their armor, blending into the surrounding jagged bones and pervasive gray-green death fog.

"Go! Right rear, shaman formation!" Anna's voice, like the most accurate compass, slid into the shadows like a ghost.

Enzo grinned, the lava patterns barely visible as two faint red points in the shadows, and silently followed.

Six figures shrouded in shadow, closely following the orcish right flank, which was somewhat weakened due to the main force being drawn to the golden light, silently cut into the death zone on the side and rear of the battlefield against the direction of the surging green tide.

Above them were thunder and flames erupting from the clash of legendary powerhouses, and beneath their feet lay a blood-soaked swamp.

Ahead, dozens of orc shamans, their bodies shrouded in green light, were dancing a frenzied war dance around a totem pole.

Their withered lips moved, the obscure syllables triggering legion magic, covering the entire orc army with a bloodthirsty dark red aura.

The orc warlord's frenzied roar still echoed in the air: "Stop them! At all costs! Take back the sacred relic!"

The massive orc army surged toward the Bone Forest like ants thrown at a boulder.

The shadowy curtain, like a living thing, completely engulfed Mark and his six companions, merging them into the desolate, decaying swamp of the Bone Forest.

Like six silent ghosts, they clung to the orcish right flank, which was somewhat weakened by the main force being drawn to Elliot's golden light, and swiftly cut into the area on the rear side of the battlefield, which was filled with the power of primal totems and the stench of blood, against the direction of the surging green tide.

Ahead, dozens of high-ranking orc shamans were dancing wildly around several rough totem poles.

Its emaciated body appeared ghostly in the flickering campfire and the dark green, eerie light it emitted.

His parched lips moved rapidly, and the obscure, ancient war song syllables coalesced into a bloodthirsty halo, like a dark red tide, layer upon layer covering the charging orc army.

They were the core engine of the orcish legion's berserk power, but at this moment, they were so focused on maintaining the legion-level buff spell that they were completely unaware of the death silently approaching behind them.

"Anna, provide support from the rear! Monica, disrupt the enemy's totem magic transmission! Enzo, Ruby, follow me and charge in from the front! Kyle, cover the rear, defense is your responsibility!"

Mark's voice rang out from within the shadowy curtain.

"receive!"

Anna's figure retreated slightly in the shadows, her fingertips resting on the bow arm, firmly locking onto the most powerful old shamans in the center of the shaman formation.

Monica pressed her hands together, and several shadow threads, almost imperceptible to the naked eye but carrying strong interference fluctuations, silently shot out, aiming directly at the base of the totem pole and the magical loop beneath the shamans' feet.

"Let's do it!"

The moment Mark finished speaking, the curtain of shadows suddenly contracted!

Enzo erupted like a volcano that had been suppressed to its limit!

The lava patterns beneath his skin instantly blazed brightly like branding irons, and a surge of dense dark magic mixed with violent lava power erupted forth. His short, stocky figure transformed into a dark red meteor that tore through the air, carrying an aura of destruction that could incinerate everything, and crashed headlong into the densest center of the shaman formation!

Almost simultaneously, Ruby let out a sharp cry, and blazing white holy flames rose from her shackles, transforming into two roaring fire pythons, one on the left and one on the right, following Enzo's shockwave, fiercely devouring the shamans on both sides who were trying to cast spells!

"Enemy attack—!!"

The piercing orc language alarm finally went off, but it was too late!

Enzo's lava impact has arrived!

The three shamans who were hit first didn't even have time to scream. Their hastily lit, crude bone shields and animal skin amulets, which were enhanced, melted through like paper. Their burly bodies were instantly turned into a pile of charred, mangled flesh under the dual erosion of lava and dark magic!

Ruby's fiery serpent viciously coiled around two shamans who were channeling a large-scale corruption spell.

The holy flames clashed violently with the green light filled with the aura of death, producing a piercing "sizzling" sound. The giant python suddenly tightened and exploded!

The two shamans were like withered logs thrown into a furnace, turning into charcoal in the blazing white light!

At the same time, Mark's cross-shaped longsword was already drawn, surrounded by a seven-colored black light, like the scythe of death, silently slicing across the neck of a shaman who was trying to block with his bone staff.

The head flew off, and before the blood could even splatter, it was swallowed by the annihilation power attached to the sword.

Kyle stood like a rock behind the shockwave, his holy light of judgment solidified into a tangible barrier.

Several hastily fired poisoned bone arrows and a few corrosive green beams of light hastily thrown by the shaman collided heavily with it, producing a dull thud, but they could not shake it in the slightest.

His gaze was sharp, and the Holy Light Barrier not only provided defense but also cleverly deflected stray arrows that could threaten his teammates in front.
