Chapter 65: Each Fleeing Separately

Although Oak said this, it didn't sound very convincing to the six people.

Because the temporary adventurer camp located between the Warcraft Mountains and Osborn is actually a camp that is only used by adventurers in the winter in the Warcraft Mountains.

When the mountains are covered with heavy snow, many of the monsters in the mountains have the habit of hibernating.

Adventurers would take this opportunity to go into the mountains together to search for magical herbs or hunt hibernating monsters.

Basically every group of adventurers has reaped great rewards.

Since most adventurers do not have advanced magical equipment such as space rings, the adventurers in Osborne Town established more than a dozen temporary camps in the outer areas of the mountains.

The spoils of each team’s hunt will be gathered at temporary camps for sale, and then transported back to Osborne Town by the people in the temporary camps.

But adventurers usually gather in temporary camps in winter, and now is the transition season between spring and summer.

Having time to build a fire and cook in the makeshift camp, which adventurer wouldn't take a few more steps back to the Grizzly Bear Tavern in Osborne Town for a drink?

I don’t know if Oak’s words have some special magic.

The six-member team finally arrived at the adventurer's temporary camp ten miles away from Osborne Town as they wished.

But when they arrived here, the last bottle of magic recovery potion in the hands of several people was finally used up!

"Put down the firewall!"

After confirming that there was not even a single adventurer in the temporary adventurer camp, Leila still stood in front of the team.

Jack can no longer use his magic to consume the huge wall of fire. He has to save his last magic to fight the wolves!

As if they had discovered that the adventurers were out of ammunition and food, the phantom wolves once again emerged from the hidden jungle.

The dark green wolf eyes flashed with greedy and cruel cold light.

The two leading ones were pure black ghost wolves that were 1.5 meters tall. They blocked the adventure group in the adventurer camp from the front and the back.

There was also a one-eyed, lame old wolf about 1.3 meters tall, leading other gray-black ghost wolves to patrol the outer areas.

"Damn beast!"

As soon as they saw the old wolf, they were all filled with anger.

It was this old wolf that first led the wild wolves to attack them, and now it has brought the phantom wolves to attack them.

"We haven't even entered the Phantom Wolf Valley and we've been targeted by a group of first-level Phantom Wolves!" Oak gritted his teeth and said angrily, "What's going on in the Phantom Wolf Valley? Isn't that 1-star team mission a surefire way to send us to our deaths?"

"Maybe we're just too confident," Eden said with a wry smile. "Ordinary adventurers don't form adventuring groups right after reaching level 1. They usually start out as rookies, doing odd jobs in the adventuring group."

However, even if the six people regretted it now, it was too late.

It is still unknown whether we can live to see tomorrow's sun!

"Laila, what should we do? These beasts might want to keep us here forever!"

Finally, they turned their attention to Leila, who was the calmest and most composed.

Leila looked around at the men, holding a shield in one hand and grabbing the dagger at her waist with the other, saying, "Nothing special, just hard fighting!"

"If we can kill two second-level ghost wolves, we have a chance! If we can't..."

Leila didn't continue.

In fact, the teenagers had already rehearsed this situation.

If there is really nothing that can be done, then everyone will flee on their own, and those who can escape will turn around and find someone to rescue them.

If I can't even save the person, then I'll take revenge. There's nothing more to say!

“Let’s do it!!!”

With a roar, the Berserker Cole, whose violent blood was aroused, rushed out from his original position.

Like a cannonball, he smashed the two short-handled axes in his hands directly towards the forehead of the second-level ghost wolf blocking the front!

Eden muttered something and waved his staff directly towards the area, and snowflakes fell from the air.

As snowflakes fell, a layer of ice armor attached to the leather armor of Cole, Leila, and Oak, who were rushing in the front.

The speed of the second-level ghost wolf also slowed down.

"Charge Shield Blast!"

Leila roared and took advantage of Eden's deceleration and the effect of her own skills to fiercely hit the ghost wolf's nose with a shield.

A smash of the shield stunned the opponent, and the dagger in the other hand pierced into the neck of the ghost wolf, providing better opportunities and time for the subsequent attacks.

Oak's sword, Sean's arrow, and Yak's fireball followed, and almost simultaneously with Cole's short axe, they hit the second-level ghost wolf.

“Got it!”

Ok's long sword pierced the ghost wolf's side, Sean's arrow shot into the ghost wolf's right shoulder and embedded into the ghost wolf's body, and Yak's fireball exploded a series of charred black pits on the ghost wolf's body.

Several people were secretly delighted.

Judging from the data learned from actual combat exercises in school, in fact, the second-level monsters are not much stronger than the first-level human warriors. As long as the output is in place and the concentrated fire can be successfully achieved in a short period of time, the beasts can be killed in seconds!

That's the theory!

But there is often a difference between actual practice and theory!

"Bang!"

Cole, who struck the Phantom Wolf's head hard, felt as if his axe had struck the fine steel armor of his own knight master.

The ghost wolf lowered its head slightly after being chopped down, but he was shocked so much that his tiger's mouth burst, and his frenzied state was abruptly interrupted by the recoil force.

At the same time, a dark wave surged out from the heart of the Phantom Wolf, knocking Ouke back.

The wounds left on Youlang by the previous people were recovering at a speed visible to the naked eye!
