"Go!" The oracle's voice was hoarse and short, carrying the weakness and urgency of someone who had forcibly peered into fate.
He suddenly pressed the Star Heart fragment, which was trembling violently in his hand, against the spatial barrier node that was being violently shaken by the multiple impacts of the Demon God's attack, the Ellen Chains, and the uncontrolled energy of the Abyss Scripture!
Click—Pop!
A spatial rift, far larger than any previous crack, suddenly burst open like a shattered mirror!
A violent surge of spatial turbulence erupted from it!
"Retreat!" Farion reacted swiftly, enduring the excruciating pain from the aftershocks of the demon god's attack.
He channeled his last bit of magic power, along with the remaining power of the nearly dissipated projection of the Abyss Holy Scripture, into a force that he slammed into himself and his three companions!
Serantia, Langustu, and Campbell also burned their primal magic without hesitation, pushing their life-saving escape techniques to the limit.
Transforming into three gray shadows, they were pulled madly toward the crack by the chaotic attack and spatial currents of the demon god, as if being dragged by an invisible hand!
"Leave the heart of the elf!" Enzo roared like thunder, his lava body bursting forth, ignoring the puppet arm controlled by the puppeteer that was attacking him.
The runic hammer, crackling with dark lightning, slammed into the back of the weakened Cambane, who was lagging behind!
This hammer strike contained Enzo's full power after advancing to Legendary status and the will of the bursting dark lava!
Campbell turned around in horror, the shadow of death looming over him.
In a moment of haste, he mobilized all his remaining spiritual energy to instantly weave a thick, twisted shield behind him, filled with nightmare prisms, while simultaneously using the last of his spiritual threads to tightly bind and protect the Elven Heart in his sleeve.
Boom! ...
The Nightmare Prism shattered like paper under the violent hammer!
The remaining dark lightning struck the mental barrier hastily erected by Campbell squarely!
"Ugh—!"
Campbell let out a shrill scream, spitting out a mouthful of filthy blood containing fragments of his mind. The back of his wide gray robe was torn apart by the violent force, revealing charred marks.
He was like a broken sack struck by a giant hammer, his body was violently thrown forward at high speed, his breath instantly weakened to the extreme, and he almost fainted.
But it was the force of that terrifying blow that allowed him to roll away from Enzo's subsequent attacks at a speed far exceeding his own limits.
Then, the puppeteer's puppet arm slapped Campbell into the closing spatial rift!
He desperately protected the Elven Heart hidden in his sleeve; it was the only result of their enormous sacrifice.
Eileen's Star Moon Chains came relentlessly, but only managed to shred a tattered piece of gray robe and a few wisps of abyssal demonic energy.
Mark's seven-colored holy light barrier transformed into a giant hand that reached out, but missed its target just before the cracks closed up as quickly as a healing wound.
The attacks of the Abyss Demons ceased, and the power of their projections, having lost the support of the Abyss Holy Scripture projection, began to dissipate rapidly due to dimensional repulsion.
The spatial rift has completely disappeared.
Before the Hall of Eternal Rest, only the lingering abyssal demonic energy remained, along with the elven elder who lay paralyzed on the ground, still shaken, having witnessed everything yet relegated to the background, the mottled bloodstains left by the four members of the Enlightenment Society, the glaring black blood from Cambane, and several severed pale puppet fingers.
Before dissipating, more than a dozen demonic projections all cast their thoughts in Mark's direction. The voice of the Ice Crystal Giant Lizard carried a hint of apology and expectation:
"Your Excellency Chef, we have been deceived by treacherous individuals... At the next grand feast, we are willing to offer even better 'ingredients' as an apology!"
Immediately, the projection completely dissipated into demonic energy.
Ellen retrieved the Star Moon Black Gold, and the spatial blockade was lifted.
Before the Hall of Eternal Rest, the lingering sulfurous stench of the abyssal demonic energy and the burnt smell of the torn space had not yet dissipated.
Queen Aria Eldrinval, her body weakened, looked at Ellen and her companions with a complex expression, her voice hoarse with the pain of surviving a calamity and genuine gratitude:
"Your Excellencies... the Elven race... we thank you all for your assistance. If it weren't for you, the royal court would likely have been completely destroyed by the Enlightenment Society and the Abyss Demons."
She bowed slightly, and the Queen's crown appeared particularly heavy against the backdrop of the broken diamonds.
Although the Heart of the Elf has been stolen, at least the Elf race has not been invaded by the Abyss monsters, which is a blessing in disguise!
However, this peace and gratitude after surviving the catastrophe was instantly shattered by a roar filled with decaying rage that erupted from within the Hall of Eternal Rest:
"Ariria! Is this how you act as queen?!"
From the shadows of the temple gates, three emaciated and feeble-looking epic elders staggered out, their faces, like withered tree bark, contorted with rage.
The white-haired elder at the head of the group shouted sternly, his cloudy old eyes fixed on the queen as if she were the culprit:
"You allowed human heretics to trample on the sacred ground! You allowed the shadows of the abyss to ravage before the Hall of Eternal Slumber! The dignity and glory of the elven race, which have endured for millennia, have been utterly destroyed in your hands!"
Another elder's rebuke was like a biting wind, aimed directly at Mark and his group, filled with offended arrogance and an eagerness to shirk responsibility:
"And you too! You humans with bizarre powers! Accomplices of the Abyss Demon God!"
"If you hadn't drawn the abyss's gaze and fought this fierce battle with those madmen of the Enlightenment Society, how could the Palace of Eternal Slumber have been disturbed like this? How could the Elf Forest have been filled with such filth?! You and the Enlightenment Society are all heretics who wreak havoc on the Holy Land!"
The last elder, his voice stern and his withered, claw-like fingers trembling, pointed at Arielia and delivered the final verdict:
"You! Ariria Eldrinval! You have failed to protect the Holy Land, colluded with heretics, and let wolves into the house! You are no longer worthy to rule the Elven kingdom! From this moment forward, your throne is hereby revoked! Where are the royal guards?!"
His piercing scream was deafening.
At his command, shadows flickered deep within the Hall of Eternal Rest, and dozens of elven warriors, clad in dark green armor, with cold, empty eyes but exuding a powerful aura, silently emerged like marionettes.
The cold weapons locked onto Aria and Mark's squad.
These were the private armies that the three elders kept deep within the Hall of Eternal Rest, loyal only to their will.
"Seize these rebels and heretics! Imprison Arielia in the elven prison! These humans... keep them under strict guard! When the messengers of the Holy Light arrive, hand them over as irrefutable evidence of their blasphemy against the Holy Land!"
The white-haired elder's voice carried a cruel pleasure, as if he could already see the scene of power being consolidated once again.
However, this time, the expected deathly silence did not arrive.
The remaining royal guards, priests, and elves who had struggled to gather from all parts of the battlefield did not act on the elder's orders.
They stood there, their gazes shifting from astonishment and bewilderment to a chilling disgust and utter despair.
