Chapter 635 Heading to the Elf Forest

Almost simultaneously, the octopus demon's sticky hissing was accompanied by a burp, and the poison vine demon's rustling spores also produced a burp sound...

A series of burps, some rough and some strange, rose and fell.

With each burp, a wisp of seven-colored light would drift out from the satiated mid-level, low-level, and even high-level demons, flowing towards Mark like rivers flowing into the sea!

Mark's body trembled slightly as he felt a strange "filling" sensation.

He clearly saw that the skill reserves representing [Saint of the Abyss (Ultimate Mutation - Active)] deep within his consciousness were flashing and expanding wildly at an unprecedented speed!

Below the list that originally only unlocked ten demon god forms, new entries have sprung up like a gushing spring!

Lava behemoths, filthy ghosts, skeletal demons...

Those mid- and lower-level demon god forms who were just enjoying their meal, and even more of those lower-level demon god phantoms that were deduced by the seven-colored black light magic power through some mysterious connection...

Densely packed, instantly exceeding a hundred types!

Each form exudes a unique aura of demonic power, clearly discernible.

What surprised him even more was an invisible connection.

He could vaguely sense the monsters in front of him, who had just eaten their fill and whose bodies were clearly marked with seven-colored black light.

Their restlessness, their contentment, even their current languid thoughts, all seemed to be transmitted to him through invisible threads, via the omnipresent seven-colored black light magic.

An idea rose uncontrollably in Mark's mind.

He seems to be able to influence these monsters?

“Hiccup… Human chef…” The deep voice of the Ice Crystal Giant Lizard Demon God, with an unprecedented gentleness, rang in Mark’s mind, interrupting Mark’s thoughts, “This feast… is unique in the Abyss. Our territory is always open to you.”

Its massive head nodded, and the ferocity in its scarlet eyes was replaced by an expression that resembled friendliness.

"Roar!" "Hiss!" The other demon gods also emitted similar low hums or thoughts, indicating their approval.

His attitude made it seem as if Mark had become the most honored guest in this magical realm.

Mark suppressed the turmoil in his heart, his expression remained calm, and he nodded slightly in the direction of the mid-level demon gods: "Until we meet again."

He turned around and called to his companion, "Let's go."

Enzo, still savoring the meal, stroked his slick beard, tossed aside the last, cleanly gnawed bone, shoved his rune hammer back into his belt, and a flash of molten lava power appeared on his skin:

"Hey, I've had a great time eating, but now that I've just advanced to Legendary level, I'm itching to get a fight!"

Anna silently emerged from the shadows, merely giving Enzo a disdainful look. "So many mid- to low-level demons are here. Go ahead and fight them if you dare."

Monica quickly scanned the orderly area, the light of her appraisal skill dimming in her eyes as she memorized the last bit of information.

She had a hunch that this scene would become a significant chapter in the history of the Holy Dragon Continent!

The starlight and moonlight shone again, and the spatial passage opened steadily.

The four members of Mark's team, along with Little M who bounced back onto Mark's shoulder, disappeared into the rift.

Outside the Demon Realm Rift, beneath the distorted, purplish-black sky, Ellen had long since abandoned her languid posture and stood ramrod straight.

She crossed her arms, her fingertips tapping unconsciously on her arms. The black and gold starlight floated beside her, emitting a slightly restless glow.

As Mark and the others solidified completely in the starlight, her sharp gaze immediately swept over them, lingering on Mark for a moment longer with a scrutinizing look.

"Have you had enough fun?" Ellen's voice was unreadable, but her speech was faster than usual. "The Abyss is holding a banquet, and the Demon God is praising you. Mark Stewart, your title of 'Abyss Demon God Chef' is about to resound throughout the Abyss Demon Realm."

Mark was about to offer an explanation or a joke when Eileen raised her hand to interrupt him, her expression suddenly turning extremely serious, her eyes swirling with starlight:

"No time for your abyssal tales! Let's move out immediately, plans changed! We must get to the Elf Forest right away!"

"The Elf Forest?" Anna's cool voice carried a hint of doubt. "Weren't we supposed to be temporarily avoiding the turmoil in the Holy Light Church's divine kingdom and staying on the border of the Demon Realm Rift?"

"There's no way to avoid it!" Ellen spoke rapidly, her Star Moon Magic trembling slightly around her, revealing her inner turmoil. "Latest intelligence: something terrible has happened with the Dragon Clan!"

"Those lunatics from the Enlightenment Society, using some unknown means, actually managed to infiltrate the true sacred land of the dragon race at the bottom of the Holy Dragon Islands and steal their inherited sacred artifact, the 'Heart of the Holy Dragon'!"

"What?!" Monica exclaimed in a low voice, "The Enlightenment Society actually dared to touch the dragon's possessions!"

“The dragons are probably furious and are pursuing us like madmen.” Elaine frowned. “But that’s not the worst of it! My ‘eyes’ planted around the Enlightenment Society are desperately sending back fragmented messages—another team of Enlightenment Society ‘wise men’ is extremely close to the Elf Forest! What they want to steal is the ‘Heart of the Elf’!”

"If I'm not mistaken, Qizhi wants to collect all five divine hearts! And now, they already have three: Star Remains, Blood Vine, and Holy Dragon!"

The foul air from the edge of the Abyss Demon Realm rift still seemed to cling to their robes, but the news brought by Ellen was like a bucket of ice water, instantly extinguishing the slightly tipsy warmth that Mark's team had just enjoyed after feasting on the demon god's banquet.

“The Five Divine Hearts?” Enzo, carrying his rune-forged hammer, trembled his lava-like beard as he gruffly repeated the unfamiliar term, the dark lightning remaining on the hammerhead crackling uneasily.

Ellen hovered in mid-air, with the Star Moon Black Gold slowly rotating beside her, emitting a cold and rapid glow that reflected on her unusually serious face.

“The Elven Heart of the Elven Court, the Holy Dragon Heart of the Dragon Mountains, the Holy Light Heart of the Holy Light Church, the Starsoul Heart of the Far North Ice Plains, and the Bloodvine Heart of the Orcs.”

She speaks very quickly, and each name carries a heavy weight.

"They are the cornerstones that maintain the divinity of the Holy Dragon Continent since the gods fell silent, and they contain unimaginable power."

Mark felt a slight warmth on the cross necklace on his chest, and his All Saints' Cleric senses made him instinctively aware of the immense crisis contained in Elaine's words.

Although he hadn't noticed anything special about the Heart of Bloodvine before, he had no doubt about the power of the Heart of Starsoul.

He asked in a deep voice, "The Enlightenment Society collects these... is that right?"

"To awaken their so-called 'Lord'!" Ellen declared resolutely. "Moreover, their target location is almost certain: the foundation of the 'Earthly Divine Kingdom' that the Holy Light Church is currently constructing at the border of the Demon Realm!"
