Chapter 5: Saved by a ruthless fox! The price? Paying off her debt with her body?! ...
The man in the main seat wore a well-tailored suit, and the toes of his expensive, exquisite handmade leather shoes dug hard into the wounded parts of the man on the ground.
He beckoned, and a waiter beside him understood, bringing a cigar and lighting it. The man took a drag, the smoke rings rising gently, then he lowered his head and pressed the red-hot cigarette butt against the neck of the man who had already fainted from the pain. The man twitched a few times and then remained still.
Immediately afterwards, someone stepped forward and dragged the unconscious person away.
"Tsk, the goods delivered are getting less and less durable." The casual tone sent the waiters tumbling to their knees in fear.
The man ignored her, stepped down from his seat, and faced the remaining row of people. Only then did Pei Qian get a clear look at his face.
He has that kind of aura that screams "refined scoundrel" and "pervert," but objectively speaking, he is quite good-looking.
His pale skin contrasted sharply with his jet-black hair, and his eerie green pupils resembled those of a bloodthirsty beast hunting in the dark, exuding ferocity and savagery. Yet, the half-rimmed glasses on his high-bridged nose added a touch of handsomeness.
He didn't look like the leader of an underground organization, but rather a professor or intellectual working at a school.
If it weren't for the blood on his hands.
Pei Qing was lost in thought when she looked up and realized that the pervert had already walked up to them. Everyone around her was trembling, and one of them had already collapsed to the ground.
Logically, she should be nervous, but why doesn't she feel it at all? Maybe she's just too hungry, and it's made her brain go numb.
The depraved scumbag surveyed the group, then picked up a long whip covered in barbs and casually walked behind them. He raised the whip and lashed out, tearing flesh and blood apart.
A drop of blood splattered into Pei Qian's eye, and her vision instantly turned crimson.
Hungry, so hungry, Pei Qing's eyes drooped, lost and without direction.
I'm so hungry I'm going crazy.
Her gaze was hesitant, but somehow it fell on the perverted man's raised forearm. With each movement, half of his pale wrist was exposed, and the bone bead protruded sparsely.
My teeth are a little itchy, I really want to bite them.
Pei Qing couldn't help but grind her teeth.
The abrupt movement caught the man's attention. He casually tossed aside the whip in his hand, took off his blood-soaked gloves, threw them on the ground, and slowly walked over to Pei Qing.
The waiter hurriedly offered a new pair of gloves, knowing that this man's obsessive-compulsive disorder could be fatal. But the man brushed the gloves aside, extended his pale hand, and gently stroked Pei Qing's face.
Pei Qing was speechless. She hadn't washed her face for several days, and if she touched it again, her skin would become chapped.
The man's hands were cold, smooth, and damp, and his deep green eyes were lowered. Pei Qing felt a chill run down her spine, as if she were being stared at by a venomous snake.
Gu Fei had been watching this female A in the far corner for a long time. Although she was not tall and her face was not particularly distinctive, she was the kind of person who would be hard to spot in a crowd.
But seeing such a bloody scene, his legs didn't even tremble; his relaxed and leisurely demeanor contrasted sharply with those around him. Unfortunately, he hated this kind of calmness the most.
The calmer and more composed he appeared, the more he wanted to peel back that calm exterior and explore the truth within.
He regained his interest after a long time.
Her face seemed to possess a kind of magic, a magical attraction that made Gu Fei's hand linger on it.
"Really? Maybe it's because I haven't showered for a week."
Gu Fei suddenly froze. Why had he blurted out his innermost thoughts without thinking? And what did this woman say? That she hadn't showered in a week?!
As soon as he withdrew his hand, he felt something disgusting spreading all over his body from his fingers. It was so disgusting!
The waiter beside him didn't dare to breathe. Who knew why the Second Master had suddenly gone mad without wearing gloves? This was truly the end for them.
Pei Qian looked at the man in front of her, who was burning with anger, and sneered. Didn't he touch her himself? Why did he break down for telling the truth?
Such a germaphobe, yet he still plays with dirty things. Doesn't he think those bloody, greasy things are dirty too? Amazing.
Pei Qian thought to herself, but she didn't dare say it out loud, afraid of getting beaten up.
Gu Fei wanted to slap the man, but he was afraid of getting his hands dirty. He took a deep breath, turned around, and ordered his men, "Tie him up and throw him away—"
Before he could finish speaking, a sudden boom ripped open a large hole in the roof, and rubble rained down. A dark figure carrying a laser cannon, its muzzle still steaming and a faint blue light gathering, signaled the imminent release of the next volley of shells.
Gu Fei's pupils contracted. How could he be here?! The two organizations usually kept to themselves, so what was going on?
"Everybody! Good evening!" A flippant voice came from the air, and the waiters, armed and on guard, stood by.
"Don't be so nervous, I didn't do anything."
Who made that huge hole in the roof? Was it a ghost?
"Youdu! What do you mean by this?! You're not taking the Gu family seriously at all!"
"Oh, isn't this Second Master Gu? Don't take him seriously at all! Didn't we prepare a laser eye just for you?" Youdu was still smiling, but he didn't hold back when he started to tease people.
"Enough with the nonsense, what exactly do you want?"
Gu Fei didn't want to clash with him; their strengths were evenly matched, and they couldn't rashly start a fight. Although he didn't know why Youdu had come here, he was willing to agree as long as it wasn't too outrageous.
"I'll come..." Yudu said dismissively, while secretly searching for the person. Was he dead? Was he really too late?
Pei Qing was secretly sitting in the corner, eating sunflower seeds. She had just raised her head to see what was going on when she was stunned by a pair of amber eyes.
The spiritual imprint is burning hot; it's her.
Gu Fei stared intently at You Du, wary of any sudden, unexpected moves, but seeing that You Du was squatting on the roof doing nothing, Gu Fei relaxed his guard slightly.
Pei Qian was there, cracking sunflower seeds and watching the show. Why not watch a free show? Don't ask where the sunflower seeds came from; her pockets were full of them.
Suddenly everything went black, she felt a gust of wind pass by, and then she tragically fainted again.
Gu Fei watched as Youdu, with a clear purpose, quickly scooped up a person, aimed the laser cannon at him, and prepared the dark blue projectile.
"Boom!" All his beautiful little gadgets were reduced to ashes. When the smoke cleared, Yudu had already disappeared without a trace.
Gu Fei slammed her eyes shut, her elegant demeanor completely gone, and gritted her teeth, "Youdu!!!"
Pei Qing couldn't understand what sins she had committed.
Arriving on a strange planet, in a state of disrepair, not to mention the past few days, I've either been captured or on my way to be captured.
And here she was, kidnapped again. She was even carried on someone's shoulder, which was a bit uncomfortable, and she felt nauseous.
The man in black seemed to sense Pei Qing's discomfort, adjusted his posture, and held her in his arms as they continued on their way.
Pei Qing slowly closed her eyes, swaying slightly, and leaned her head against the bouncy pillow. She fell asleep in no time.
Yudu felt the weight on his chest and looked down to see Pei Qing already snoring. Her eyes were dark circles under her eyes, her lips were slightly parted, and her fingers were unconsciously gripping his arm.
It's been a long time since I've had a good night's sleep, this sleeping posture is kind of cute. Such a harmless and fragile thing, how could it be...
"That's strange," Yudu muttered to himself, quickening his pace.
Pei Qian slept soundly and woke up in soft, warm bedding.
"Ha," Pei Qing sat up and stretched, having not had such a comfortable sleep in a long time.
"Awake?" Someone pushed open the door and entered, bringing with them the aroma of food.
"Let's eat something first." He placed the tray next to Pei Qing. Her eyes lit up when she saw the food, and she picked it up and started eating without thinking twice.
Halfway through the meal, Pei Qing suddenly realized that this wasn't nutrient solution, but rice—rice porridge?!
She only ate it a few times when she was a child. The rest of the time she mostly drank nutritional drinks and ate cheap mashed potatoes. Although the portions were large and filling, it was really not tasty.
Waking up to a bowl of fragrant rice porridge, Pei Qing was so happy she almost cried. This bowl of porridge made her feel that all the hardships she had endured were worth it.
After finishing a large bowl of rice porridge, Pei Qing's stomach finally stopped burning like fire. Rubbing her stomach, she finally had time to see what her savior looked like.
The man had reddish-brown hair, and his amber eyes were like glass jars filled with syrup in the sunlight. A small mole stood above his left cheekbone on his honey-colored face, giving him a cunning and alluring look. At this moment, he was smiling, sitting on the edge of the bed with his arms crossed.
Pei Qian's gaze involuntarily slid down the man's beautifully shaped neck and into his wide collar. She could still vaguely remember the soft and elastic touch from last night.
The man suddenly leaned closer, his warm breath brushing against Pei Qing's ear. "What's wrong? Is there anything else that's bothering you?"
She quickly turned her head away, her face slightly flushed, "No, no..."
Looking at this scene, Yudu couldn't help but smile. The goal this time was quite simple, and it seemed that the mission should be easy to complete.
He had malicious intentions and moved closer and closer, until Pei Qing was almost lying on the bed.
"Well, you don't know my name yet, do you? My name is Pei Qing. Thank you for saving me, I'm really grateful."
Pei Qian hurriedly pushed him away in a flustered manner, and You Du grinned mischievously, "You don't think I saved you for nothing, do you?"
The smile on her lips froze. What happened? Had she escaped one danger only to fall into another?
"Haha, but I'm penniless right now, so I probably can't pay you..."
"I don't want something as simple as compensation,"
Yudu moved closer again, this time his face was only a few centimeters away from Pei Qing's. She could even clearly see her reflection in his honey-amber eyes, and the nimble red tongue that flickered between his thin lips...
Pei Qing quickly closed her eyes. "Then what do you want? I don't have anything."
This is terrible! Is my most vulnerable period approaching? Why am I so easily agitated?
Yudu looked at Pei Qing's expression and sat back down on the bed with satisfaction.
"How about you pay off your debt with your body? I quite like you, haha."
Thinking of the huge amount of star coins he could get after the mission was successful, he couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Oh, this, this isn't quite right."
Pei Qian smiled awkwardly; when you're under someone's roof, you have to bow your head. She didn't want to go back to that chaotic place, and she tried hard to think of a better way to solve the problem.
"Just kidding, don't take it seriously. My name is Yudu. You can live here, as long as you pay 3,000 star coins per month, plus the reward for saving you, that'll be 6,000 star coins per month."
Pei Qing couldn't hold back any longer, "6000! Why don't you just rob someone?"
"Hehe, there's no way to make money faster by robbing than by begging..."
