Chapter 63 Black Market Escape! Breaking into a Robbery Scene? ...

Beside the cutting machine, Pei Qing put the person down, crossed her arms, and looked at the lion-man opposite her.

"Tell me, what exactly happened?"

"Actually, it's not a big deal, it's just..."

"Stop dawdling, or you can forget about this job."

"I lent this little brat a sum of money, but she couldn't pay it back by the due date, so I had to use her shop as collateral."

Seeing his furtive manner, Pei Qian instinctively felt that he wasn't telling the truth, so she reached out and said, "Where's the IOU? Let me see it."

Seeing that he couldn't avoid it any longer, the lion-orc slowly picked up his personal terminal and unlocked it. "Here it is..."

The lioness-orc took it, glanced through it casually, and immediately discovered the crux of the matter: "You're a loan shark?"

"Oh dear, how can it be loan sharking?" the manager exclaimed, reaching out to snatch his personal computer. "How can it be loan sharking?! It's just that the interest is a little bit higher!"

Pei Qing sneered, dodging the hand that was about to snatch the item, and continued flipping through the pages. "This is considered a bit much? A debt of less than 20,000 star coins has multiplied dozens of times in just one week! Who can possibly repay it?"

"Furthermore, how come you have so many employees who aren't registered? What about their wages? Can you honestly say you didn't embezzle them?"

These unregistered employees have one thing in common: their names are all listed in the supervisor's loan portfolio.

Wow, that's really shameless. They're taking money from both sides; who knows how much they've embezzled over the years. Although these employees aren't registered, they've all been included in the total number of employees, meaning they're still being paid the same wages as regular employees. But clearly, these poor employees haven't received the wages they're owed.

"That's truly shameless."

The supervisor tried to argue, "I was just trying to save the factory money, wasn't I? I was just..."

"Heh, so you're saving money for yourself, huh?" Pei Qing sneered, naturally not missing the venomous look that flashed in her supervisor's eyes.

This kind of parasite is a menace wherever he is; how can the factory possibly function well with him around? Besides, the truth has already come out; leaving this threat around could lead to disaster at any moment. It's better to just...

Pei Qing looked at the cutting machine next to her.

The next second, the supervisor was suspended above the mixer by the stick, screaming in terror. There was a puddle of pale yellow liquid at his feet; he had wet himself in fright.

He screamed for help, his voice hoarse from shouting, but the sound of the blender was loud enough to drown out everything else.

"Ahhh! I was wrong, I was wrong! Sis! Sis! Please! I'll never do it again! I'll transfer the money to you right now! Please! Put me down!"

Pei Qing smiled faintly, "Really?"

"Really, really! I'll never do it again!" the supervisor pleaded repeatedly.

"Really? It's a pity you don't have a future."

The next second, the suspended tendrils broke off on their own, and instantly, the main body was pulverized into a pulp, mixed into the uncast material, and disappeared forever.

Pei Qing carried the hyena half-orc away, and a little while later, the scarred lioness half-orc returned alone, looking completely bewildered.

The surveillance camera in the corner had long since gone black, with only a small amount of viscous fluid remaining in the gaps.

Pei Qing detached from her original host and devoured the hyena-human body that had stopped breathing half a minute earlier, due to a sudden heart attack.

The hyena-like half-human's heart condition was likely caused by genetic factors, and the attack was so severe that she was already immobilized when Pei Qing parasitized her. While Pei Qing was on her way to hail a taxi to the hospital, the other consciousness within her quietly departed.

Pei Qing sighed and canceled the scheduled hospital appointment on her personal terminal, changing it to another location.

A short while later, the flying car arrived, and she got into the car to check the personal terminal in her hand.

This is the supervisor's personal terminal. Pei Qing checked it and found no location information, so it's safe to use. Before the supervisor died, she had already forcibly changed the person in charge of the personal terminal.

Now, this quantum computer belongs to her.

Every year, a number of workers die accidentally in a machine manufacturing plant, so it's quite reasonable that the supervisor would die from falling into a large mixing device during a routine inspection.

She destroyed the loan shark lists on her personal terminal and sent a text message informing everyone that all the debts had been repaid. After everything was done, Pei Qing opened the list of collateral; the tenth entry was 'her' ID and personal information, and the collateral was a shop.

Perhaps she could use this shop as a place to stay on Karl Star, and leave when things calm down.

That damn manager was cunning; he didn't handle the shop mortgage himself, but outsourced it to the biggest local gang: Red Eyes.

In other words, if anyone wants to redeem their collateral, they must go to the red-eye territory in person, and most of the collateral will eventually be lost.

Pei Qian opened the chat history between the supervisor and Red Eyes. The most recent transaction was three days ago, and the location was an underground market.

Ten minutes later, Pei Qing got out of the car. The sky was getting overcast. She walked for a while, and then it started to drizzle.

She found a roof over which to take shelter from the rain and turned to look at her reflection in the glass shop window.

He had short, jet-black hair, deep gray-brown eyes, a high nose, narrow eyes, and light-colored lips, making him look more aggressive than Pei Qing originally.

He's quite tall, almost 1.9 meters, but unfortunately too thin, like a swaying stick, and desperately needs more nutrition.

"Tsk, I get hungry pretty quickly," Pei Qing thought, clutching her slightly aching stomach.

The rain gradually stopped, and she followed the signs into the entrance of the underground market.

The cheetah-orc who was squatting by the door chatting looked at Pei Qing's youthful face with suspicion, and stopped her with a cigarette in his mouth. "Hey! Yes, you, it's you! What are you doing here? This isn't a place for a kid like you who hasn't even grown his hair yet!"

Pei Qian glanced at the insignia on her shoulder and recognized that she was a Red-Eyed person. She quickly greeted her with a smile and a sweet tone, "Sister, the boss asked me to come and discuss business."

"Boss? The boss is calling you?" The cheetah-like orc narrowed his eyes. Pei Qing quietly released a wisp of spiritual energy, and the man's expression changed, becoming friendly. "Alright, I think you're a good match! Hurry up and go in! Don't keep the boss waiting."

Woman A smiled, revealing half of a sharp canine tooth. "Thank you, sister."

And so, Pei Qing entered smoothly. Along the way, she was dazzled by all sorts of shops: "XX adult products"; "miracle drugs that can make you have sex ten times in one go"; "XX love hotels"—a variety of styles to suit every taste, with a prominent sign that read: "Family planning supplies free..."

She glanced at the bustling hotel entrance; it seemed the allure of free suites was quite effective.

Pei Qing arrived at a luxuriously decorated clubhouse, which stood out starkly from the dilapidated shops next door. Various people were coming and going, and she saw many 'envious eyes'.

She stepped into the club and stopped a waiter, "Excuse me, where is your boss?"

The waiter glanced at her shabby clothes and said disdainfully, "Someone like you thinks—ah!"

Pei Qing smiled slightly, then kicked the waiter to the ground, shattering the glass. She casually picked up a shard, placed her foot on the waiter's stomach, and half-squatted down, using the shard to draw on his delicate face. "Tell me," she said, "where should I put it? Left cheek, right cheek? Ruining the nose probably wouldn't be good… or… the eyes…"

The hand holding the shard of glass swiftly flipped upwards, quickly fixing it above the waiter's vulnerable pupils, just a hair's breadth away from piercing them. The waiter screamed in terror, but Pei Qing pressed down harder on his foot. He gasped for breath in pain, his face covered in cold sweat. "I...I'll talk...please...ah...let me go..."

"Ha, you should have said so earlier. Honestly, look at you, suffering for nothing." Pei Qing's smile deepened as she gently pulled the waiter up, supporting him with one hand to prevent him from falling, while the other hand still held the shard of glass against the waiter's vulnerable neck. Standing behind him, she seemed to whisper in his ear, "Tell me, where is it?"

"Yes, yes, in the rooftop meeting room... The boss is talking about business..." The waiter's legs trembled uncontrollably, and he almost collapsed to the ground.

Pei Qing glanced at the elevator; a red light was flashing at the top, indicating that verification was required before it could operate. "You, take me up."

She shifted her position, loosely encircling the waiter, pressing the shard of glass against his chest. She could feel his heartbeat through his thin shirt. Someone walked by, and just as the waiter reached out, Pei Qing brought her lips close to his ear, her voice soft, "You can call for help. Let's see if you're saved first, or if you bleed to death from a ruptured heart..."

The waiter stiffly lowered his hand, his body trembling uncontrollably, sobbing with snot and tears streaming down his face, "I...I'll take you there, please don't kill me, sob sob..."

Pei Qian, afraid of getting his snot on her, moved away in disgust, saying, "Let's go."

"Beep—We have reached the twentieth floor—"

The elevator doors opened, and Pei Qing emerged carrying a waiter. She casually glanced around and noticed that the number of people on the top floor had decreased significantly, replaced by a group of bodyguards patrolling the area.

One of the bodyguards noticed Pei Qing and her companion, and walked over with a displeased expression. He berated the waiter, "Didn't we say that entry to the top floor is not allowed at this time? Whose people are you working for? Show me your employee number— um!"

After confirming the room's location, Pei Qing swiftly pushed the waiter into the bodyguard's arms. Caught off guard, the bodyguard was thrown into a full-on collision. By the time she realized what had happened, Pei Qing had already run far away.

The bodyguard shoved the waiter aside, shouting as he ran, "Grab that person! Don't let her get away! She's an intruder!"

The waiter's head hit the ground hard, and he couldn't help but cry out in pain. He didn't dare to say anything, and with a big bump on his head and tears in his eyes, he limped away.

A tearing sound came from the left rear. Pei Qing moved nimbly and quickly dodged the fist the size of a sandbag behind her head. The bodyguard missed his target, lost his balance, and tumbled down the stairs.

Soon, dozens of bodyguards surrounded her from the front and back, slowly forming a circle around her. Pei Qing clung tightly to the wall, looking like she had no way out.

The bodyguards seized the opportunity and pounced on him, only to find that he had missed. Upon closer inspection, they saw that countless black tendrils had extended from behind the man, clinging firmly to the ceiling, and he was moving rapidly toward the reception room.

Her bodyguards were hot on her heels, but Pei Qianren had already reached the door of the reception room. She gave the female bodyguards a shy smile and then kicked the door open.

The moment the bodyguard entered, Pei Qing swiftly moved and took the nearest woman, A, hostage. A had an eye patch over her left eye, her right eye was slightly narrowed, and her expression was indifferent. Even with a sharp tweezer pressed against her neck, she did not react.

"Whatever you want, as long as I have it, I can give it to you."

"I?"

Pei Qian hesitated, ignoring the group of bodyguards in front of her who were shouting "Release the boss!" in a state of grief. She never expected that she would accidentally take the red-eyed boss hostage. But, this boss seemed to be quite different from what she had imagined.

She had assumed the Red-Eyed Boss would be a fierce-looking figure like her second host, but she never expected him to be like this...

With Chu Zhi in control of the situation, Pei Qing's hands gradually became restless, tracing the back of the person in front of her neck all the way down to their tight, slender waist. They were so thin, almost a head shorter than her.

"What are you doing?" Sensing the hostage's restless movements, the red-eyed leader's tone suddenly became tense, and a crack appeared in his cold expression. "Are you gay? Don't touch me, I can find you the best Alphas in the club, as many as you want!"

Pei Qing paused for a moment after hearing her words, then chuckled, deliberately leaning close to her ear and speaking vaguely, "I am indeed quite interested in A as well..."

The red-eyed leader, who had been quite indifferent, suddenly began to struggle violently. She was very strong, and Pei Qing's tentacles almost failed to hold her. It seemed that she really disliked being gay. She quickly tried to make amends: "But don't worry, sister. I'm currently more interested in men and haven't thought about exploring new areas yet."

“I came here with only one purpose: to get back the shop I mortgaged before.”

"The shop? Let me go first, I need to check it out."

“No, you can continue investigating like this.” Pei Qing replied with a smile, Chu Zhi not letting up at all.

"There is indeed a mechanic repair shop nearby, at number 52, sixth block, right?"

"Yes, give me the electronic voucher, and we'll be done."

"Beep—Store authorization transferred—" As the mechanical sound rang out, the electronic voucher transfer was completed, and Pei Qing prepared to run away.

But before she could run away, she needed to make a little preparation. From behind, out of the red-eyed leader's sight, a small tentacle quietly climbed up and swiftly and accurately pierced her neck.

"Ugh! What did you do?!"

"It's just a little bit of protection, a little bit of neurotoxin. It will take effect in five minutes. I don't think you'll mind, right? You probably won't pretend to let me go and then send someone to cause trouble at my shop, will you?" Pei Qing said innocently.

The red-eyed leader pulled out a gleaming dagger from who-knows-where, forcefully broke free of his hands, and slashed hard at Chuzhi. Chuzhi cried out in pain and released his grip. Seeing the situation was bad, Pei Qing quickly made his escape. Chuzhi hooked onto the stairs outside the door and leaped into the air.

A woman's furious roar came from behind: "Grab her! Don't let her leave here!" The red-eyed leader had never suffered such humiliation in all her years of pampered life. She had to get rid of the poison before this despicable female A left!

Pei Qing leaped between the stairs and the ceiling, occasionally tangling the feet of some of her pursuers with branches, causing them to fall hard to the ground or roll down the stairs. However, the number of pursuers remained as large as ever.

"This is really troublesome. It seems like I've gone a bit too far." She sighed, suddenly accelerated, leaving a large gap in the air, and landed lightly on the seventh floor of the club. After looking around, she entered the building.

The bodyguard tracked them down to the location, only to find it deserted. He tapped his earpiece to report, "Boss, she's disappeared."

The red-eyed leader stared at the monitor screen with a headache. The mysteriously powerful female A had landed on the seventh floor and headed inside. The seventh floor was where the club's VIPs resided, and there were many people there who couldn't be easily offended, or the consequences would be dire.

But she wouldn't give up until she caught the culprit, so she gritted her teeth and ordered, "Go and check every room. Be polite. If any guests express dissatisfaction, tell them that there will be generous compensation afterward and ask them to understand."

"Okay, boss."

Pei Qian glanced at the bodyguards who were about to catch up in the corridor, randomly selected a 'lucky hut', quickly broke the lock, and slipped inside.

The room was dimly lit, and the huge floor-to-ceiling windows offered a clear view of the night sky. A fat, big-eared orc was pinning a waiter, whose face was obscured, down on the bed, impatiently tearing at his uniform despite the waiter's struggles.

The waiter had a great figure; as he struggled and tore at his chest, large expanses of his honey-colored chest were revealed. His skin was soft, delicate, and glossy, and the contrast between his waist and full chest was striking, making for a beautiful sight.

Pei Qing's entrance startled the orc. "You—" Before he could finish speaking, she punched him unconscious, dragged him into the wardrobe, and hid him. A viscous, black fluid seeped into the orc's body, tightly covering his mouth and nose.

Just as I finished doing all this, there was a rapid knock on the door: "Hello, is anyone home? It's routine room check. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause!"

After saying that, before the owner of the house could speak, he turned the doorknob and stuck the room card on.

Pei Qian frowned. She glanced at the waiter who was sitting on the ground with his head down, buttoning his clothes, and whispered a few words. The next second, the waiter's clothes, which he had finally managed to put on, were ruthlessly stripped off.

The first sentence was "Sorry." and the second sentence was "May I borrow this?"

"I'll borrow his body for a bit," Pei Qian silently added in her mind, then pulled him into her arms and rolled onto the bed.
