Fruit wine tastes better chilled.
GD was still in a daze when his friends exchanged knowing glances and smiled knowingly. Yang Geng checked the time, then looked at GD, and after a brief exchange of glances with the others, sent out Seungri. Seungri half-climbed onto GD, grinning mischievously, "Hyung, stop looking, everyone's already far away. It's time for us to go to the club." GD glanced at Seungri, then resumed his nonchalant act, and led the way out. No one noticed, however, that he discreetly slipped a crystal hair tie into his pocket.
Arriving at his friend's bar, GD suppressed the slightly different feeling he had been experiencing. In the dim lighting, he remained the same dashing king, surrounded by friends and various beautiful women with their own agendas. Leaning back on the sofa, GD held a drink in his hand, but felt increasingly bored. After finishing a round of games, he excused himself to get some fresh air, grabbed a cigarette, and went out into the corridor.
Looking at the dimly lit surroundings and the swaying crowd on the dance floor, GD suddenly felt a bit bored. An urge to leave arose within him, and just as he was about to return to his private room to tell his friends he was leaving, he turned around and caught a glimpse of a familiar-looking girl sitting in a booth by the dance floor on the first floor.
The outfit was familiar, the long hair draped lazily over her shoulders. Wasn't this Su You, whom I'd just bumped into at the boutique? Su You was sitting alone in a booth, holding a glass of wine and smiling slightly as she watched a girl dancing on the dance floor. This must be the friend who had called out to her earlier.
Unbeknownst to herself, Su You was incredibly charming when she smiled slightly. The boys around the booth were all glancing at her, but because of her stunning looks and mysterious aura, no one dared to be the first to approach her. So everyone was watching to see if anyone would take the initiative.
Men understand men best. GD could tell from the looks in the eyes of the other men that Su You was being targeted. GD's tongue rubbed against his gums, a hint of anger rising in his voice. It felt like someone else was eyeing something that belonged to him. It was like a little lion discovering that someone else was coveting its toy—a truly unpleasant feeling. So, the little lion decided to assert its ownership of Su You.
Holding a glass of wine, GD strolled leisurely downstairs. Since he was out for a walk and it was at a friend's bar, GD didn't wear a mask or try to conceal his identity. He simply walked over to Su You without any attempt to hide his identity.
Su You was watching Wu Qing dance and didn't notice someone standing next to her at all. She was used to the stares from the boys around her; after all, as a conventionally beautiful woman, she was often stared at, so she had developed a certain immunity to other people's gazes. GD didn't expect that after standing there for so long, Su You wouldn't even glance at him. Fine, if the mountain won't come to me, I'll go to the mountain.
GD sat down right next to Su You. The guys who had been staring at Su You for a while suddenly regretted their actions. They hadn't known there was such a tactic. It seemed that one couldn't be too shy when pursuing a girl. Su You didn't realize there was someone next to her until GD sat down. Just as she turned to ask him to leave, she realized that the person sitting next to her was the one she had come to Korea to meet.
For a moment, he was so surprised that he froze. GD hadn't expected Su You to react so strongly to him. A slight smile played on his lips. As expected of the person who knew him best, GD knew exactly which angles and gestures he made would attract girls' attention the most. Sure enough, Su You was also affected. However, having seen plenty of people, Su You quickly recovered.
She quickly bowed and greeted him, "Annyeonghaseyo, GD-xi, is there anything I can help you with? Please let me know if I can help." GD held his wine glass, tilted his head, and looked at Su You without saying a word. Su You felt a chill run down her spine under his gaze, wondering if her outfit was alright, and if her makeup was intact... Just as Su You was hesitating whether to speak again, GD finally spoke, "You lost something, didn't you? I found it and thought I'd never have a chance to return it to you. I just happened to see you, so I came over to say hello. Could you give me your contact information? I don't have it with me. I'll call you when I find it." Su You thought for a moment. What could it be? Was it lipstick? Lip gloss? Or an earring? Su You never expected it to be the crystal hair tie that she thought had been gloriously sacrificed and might have been thrown into the trash can.
Unable to guess what it was and being rather carefree by nature, Su You was worried about finding it later, so she gave him her contact information, wanting to see what it was. GD directly handed his phone to Su You, indicating that she should enter the number. Having received the contact information, he stopped staring at Su You, saying, "We'll meet again another time." GD left with the words, "Wait for my call," and turned to walk upstairs. Su You was left completely bewildered. What was going on? So, was it just that I was simply asked for his contact information? She stared at GD's retreating figure, lost in thought.
Because of this interruption, all her desire to stay in the club vanished. So she pulled Wu Qing back, ignoring the various stares around them, and dragged Wu Qing outside. Wu Qing hadn't actually had enough fun yet, but seeing that her friend's expression was a little off, she wondered if something had happened while she was away! But this was clearly not the place to ask questions. So, she obediently followed Su You out.
