That tearful "okay" was like a key, instantly unlocking all the frozen corners of G-Dragon's heart. He almost greedily inhaled Su You's scent, mingling with the crisp Boston air and the cool smell of snowflakes, feeling her truly present in his arms. Occasionally, passersby cast curious glances, but he paid no attention; at that moment, his world consisted only of her.

"It's cold here, shall we go upstairs?" Su You said in a muffled voice in his arms, her voice still a little nasal.

Kwon Ji-yong loosened his grip slightly, but still held her hand tightly, as if afraid she would disappear if he let go. "Okay."

Su You's apartment wasn't large, but it was clean, cozy, and filled with her presence. Thick books and documents were piled on the desk, and several potted plants stood on the windowsill, stubbornly stretching their green leaves in the winter. Kwon Ji-yong looked around the small space. It lacked the luxury of his Seoul apartment, but it was filled with traces of Su You's hard work, making him both heartbroken and proud.

The door closed, shutting out the outside world. The two stood in the center of the living room, momentarily speechless. The estrangement and cold war of the past few days, though melted away by their recent embrace on the street, still left small cracks and unspoken emotions that would require time to heal.

Seeing his travel-worn appearance and bloodshot eyes, Su You's heart softened. "You...why did you come all of a sudden? You didn't even say a word."

"I can't wait any longer." Kwon Jiyong gazed at her intently. "A thousand words on the phone can't compare to seeing you in person and hearing you say 'yes' in my own ears." He reached out and gently wiped away the tears that hadn't dried at the corners of her eyes. "I'm sorry, Yuzu, I've made you suffer."

Su You shook her head and took his hand: "Actually... I was wrong too. I shouldn't have doubted you because of other people's schemes, and I shouldn't have punished you with 'calmness,' and punished myself as well." She lowered her head, "I was just... a little scared."

"What are you afraid of?" G-Dragon lifted her chin, forcing her to look into his eyes.

"I'm afraid our feelings won't withstand the pressures of reality. I'm afraid that one day we'll let go because we're exhausted."

"No." Kwon Ji-yong said firmly, his tone more serious than ever before. "Su You, listen carefully. We'll face any pressure together. No one can make me let go of your hand. Unless you don't want me anymore."

The firmness and deep affection in his words enveloped Su You like a warm current, completely dispelling the last trace of gloom in her heart. She threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly: "I want you. I've always only wanted you."

This embrace was even more tender than the one on the street, filled with the joy of finding what was lost and the mutual affirmation. They held each other quietly, listening to each other's heartbeats and feeling each other's warmth. All misunderstandings, anxieties, and distance were silently dissolved in that moment.

G-Dragon stayed in Boston for three days.

For the past three days, he turned down all work contact, completely immersing himself in his time with Su You. He accompanied her to class (quietly auditing from the back row), experiencing her daily life at Harvard; they went grocery shopping together, him pushing the cart beside her, watching her meticulously budget like a housewife; in her small apartment kitchen, he clumsily tried to cook her a Korean meal, almost causing a fire alarm, and in the end, they could only laugh and order takeout; at night, they squeezed onto a small sofa, wrapped in the same blanket, watching an old movie, or doing nothing at all, just chatting and sharing the unspoken little feelings they had during their time apart.

Without media scrutiny or the constraints of their identities, they were just like any ordinary student couple, enjoying a rare and pure tranquility.

Kwon Ji-yong watched Su You's confident profile as she spoke eloquently with the professor in class, watched her focused expression as she pondered in the library, watched the sparkle in her eyes as she discussed with her classmates… He was deeply captivated. His girl was growing and shining brightly in this vast world. He felt incredibly proud, and at the same time, he was even more certain that he had to be strong enough to protect this beautiful moment and walk alongside her.

The time for parting has come again, but this time, the atmosphere is different.

At the airport, G-Dragon held Su You's hand tightly. "We won't have to wait too long to meet again," he promised. "I'll come see you after I've taken care of some follow-up work in Seoul. Or, you can come back when you have a vacation."

"Okay." Su You nodded with a smile, her eyes full of trust and warmth. "When you get back, eat well and rest well, don't make me worry."

"Yes, Ms. Su." Kwon Ji-yong smiled and kissed her forehead. "We have to video chat every day, and you're not allowed to ignore my calls anymore."

"Okay."

As the boarding announcement sounded, G-Dragon gave her a final, tight hug before turning and walking resolutely towards the security checkpoint. This time, the separation was no longer filled with uncertainty and anxiety, because they both felt a stronger sense of purpose and a clearer direction for the future.

Upon returning to Seoul, G-Dragon swiftly reorganized his team, strictly separating his work and private life. He no longer allowed any ambiguity or hype, and all collaborations were clearly defined in terms of terms. He completely sidelined Lee Seo-yeon and her team, explicitly stating within the company that he refused any form of cooperation with them. The name that had once stirred up such a storm gradually disappeared from his world.

His video calls with Su You returned to normal, even becoming more frequent and intimate than before. They shared snippets of their lives and discussed future plans. Sometimes, late at night in his studio, G-Dragon would play newly composed melodies for Su You via video call, seeking her opinion; other times, when he was tired, Su You would read him a passage through the screen, keeping him company as he fell asleep.

Geographical distance remains, and the disturbances of the outside world never cease. But this time, they have built a stronger bond of trust and a more effective bridge of communication.
