Chapter 57 Croquettes

Chapter 57 Croquettes

An hour after entering the house, Qin Buzhu came out of the house. As soon as he opened the door, he smelled the aroma of fried food and heard some faint sounds. He followed the sound to the kitchen and saw Shi Feiye wearing an apron and looking serious.

Shi Feiye's movements were very skillful, and he was humming an unknown little tune, looking like he was enjoying himself.

The golden balls were fished out one by one, and Qin Buzhu heard Shi Feiye muttering to himself:

"One little cutie is out of the pot, and there are a bunch of little cuties waiting in line to get in. Well, you are all cute little meatballs, and you must taste really good. I will carefully make you into delicious meatball soup later, so as not to let your hard work go to waste."

Qin Buzhu was the only one who could cook so interestingly. Out of curiosity, he crossed his arms over his chest and leaned against the door to see what else Shi Feiye could do. Shi Feiye did not disappoint him. There were only a few meatballs left. She fished them out and turned to cut the washed vegetables. She even talked to herself:

"You are also little cuties. It must have been hard work to grow up so pretty. I will also treat you well and make sure you float on the soup. Well, I won't let you live in vain."

Shi Feiye was talking happily to herself, her mind full of the plot of the novel. She was brainstorming when she turned her head and suddenly saw a living person at the door. She was so scared that she took two steps back, slipped, and fell backwards.

Qin Buzhu was also startled by Shi Feiye and immediately reached out to help. Before he could help anyone, Shi Feiye had already pressed the sink behind him and stood up steadily. Qin Buzhu's hand was on Shi Feiye's waist. The inexplicable temperature made Shi Feiye shiver as if he was scalded by something.

"Why did you suddenly appear here?" Shi Feiye almost fell down, and the accusation and grievance in her tone could not be hidden, but she still quickly asked, "Is there something wrong?"

Qin Buzhu let go of his hand: "No, I came out to get a glass of water. I heard a noise from your side." So I came over to take a look.

Knowing that she would unconsciously hum a song when doing things, Shi Feiye pursed her lips. She had just prepared herself mentally and was a little too happy. She was probably thinking about the novel and accidentally wanted to get high again:

"I just hum a random song, otherwise it would be a bit boring just to cook."

"Well, are the meatballs fried?" Qin Buzhu felt it was a bit strange to leave at this time, so he just found a topic.

"Yeah, by the way, do you want to try one?" The topic was successfully changed. Shi Feiye got excited immediately when she saw the golden meatballs she had fried. She habitually asked the person next to her. After asking, she remembered how a big shot like Qin Buzhu could be so casual to go to the kitchen to find freshly fried meatballs to eat like her best friend.

Qin Buzhu hesitated for less than a second, and Shi Feiye immediately said, "Oh, look at me, how could I forget that although these meatballs taste delicious, they are not good for the body. If you are not hungry, just wait a little longer."

Bad for the body? Even if Qin Buju didn't know much about this, he knew that this kind of thing was just a little bit oily and couldn't be said to be bad for the body. He took a step forward and asked: "How do you eat it, just with your hands?"

Shi Feiye was stunned for a moment, then realized that Qin Buju really intended to taste it, and subconsciously handed the chopsticks in her hand to him. Qin Buju took the chopsticks, took a look, and found that the chopsticks were actually used.
