Chapter 120 She Pretends to Sleep
Lin Shutang didn't say a word to Li Yansheng until lunchtime. After dinner, she ignored Li Yansheng, who was on the phone, and took her bowl to the kitchen before going upstairs.
After a full meal, people tend to feel sleepy. However, sleeping right after a meal didn't seem like a good idea, so Lin Shutang found a movie to watch. However, even after halfway through the movie, she still had no idea what the movie was about and couldn't concentrate on watching it.
She left in a hurry and left the door open, just covering it. Lin Shutang heard footsteps outside the door, but she acted as if nothing had happened. She closed her tablet, closed her eyes, and lay down.
When Li Yansheng came in, he saw the girl lying on the inner side of the bed.
She slept upright with her hands folded on her abdomen. Compared to her usual sleeping posture, it was obvious that she was not really sleeping.
Li Yansheng didn't expose her, but walked over and sat down next to her.
He lowered his head, raised his hand and gently smoothed the hair from her face, then lowered his head and kissed her lips softly, tossing and turning. Then, his lips gradually moved, bit by bit, touching the soft flesh of her face, and finally stopped by her ear: "Are you unhappy?"
His voice was deep and full of tenderness.
Lin Shutang was already so drunk on his kiss that she couldn't pretend anymore. Now he was talking directly in her ear, and his warm breath hit the sensitive part of her earlobe, causing her eyelids to tremble uncontrollably.
Unable to pretend any longer, Lin Shutang opened his eyes, but did not answer him. He turned sideways and fell asleep again.
Without waiting for her response, Li Yansheng said nothing more and walked away with his phone.
Feeling the people around him leave, Lin Shutang turned over and looked at his back standing by the window, feeling a little lonely. It was him who ignored him, and now that he had left, it was him who was lost here. Lin Shutang felt that there was probably no one in the world more hypocritical than himself.
"Ask someone to check one by one... You don't need to ask me about such trivial matters in the future, you can handle it yourself..." He talked for more than 30 minutes, all about work. There was no sign of it ending for the time being, so Lin Shutang turned on the tablet again and watched a movie with headphones on.
She didn't hear that shortly after she put on the headphones, Li Yansheng told Fan Sizhu that he would not go to the company in the afternoon either.
Around 3:00 PM, Lin Shutang woke up from his bed. When he opened his eyes, Li Yansheng was beside him, sitting against the headboard, working on his laptop. He was completely absorbed in his work, seemingly unperturbed by the slightest distraction.
From this angle, you can just see Lin Shutang's profile and his superior jawline. Such appearance can't help but make people fall in love with him.
She was still a little confused because she had just woken up. She casually asked, "What time is it?"
It seemed as if he had forgotten that he was still angry.
"Three forty-one." Li Yansheng supported her back, placed the pillow behind her and asked, "Have you slept enough?"
Lin Shutang nodded.
Li Yansheng closed his notebook and said, "When you've had enough sleep, get up and I'll take you somewhere."

Lin Shutang got up and went to the bathroom, splashed a handful of cold water on his face, and then he realized what he had just agreed to.
If she went out and told him she wasn't going now, it would be too obvious and seem like she was being too dramatic.
Forget it, she is just interested in where she is going, so why bother about it so much.
