Chapter 194 "If you like it, keep it."
The next morning, Li Yansheng was awakened by the feel of fur on his face. He opened his eyes to see a furry, orange-yellow creature licking Lin Shutang's face, its back to him.
Then, he saw a white arm stretched out from under the quilt, pushing the cat away a little, and muttering, "I'm sleepy, stop making trouble."
The tone was exactly the same as the one he usually used after kissing her before going out.
Li Yansheng laughed, stood up and leaned against the head of the bed, then took the mobile phone on the bedside table and took a picture of her.
Lin Shutang felt something strange on his cheek again, his eyelashes fluttering as he slowly woke up. He opened his eyes and saw the soft, adorable little creature before him. He felt incredibly happy and pulled the cat into his arms. But the next second, he felt a gaze overhead, seemingly watching him.
So, Lin Shutang looked up and met Li Yansheng's half-smile.
"Haha." She forced a smile, feeling incredibly guilty. Last night, she woke up in the middle of the night and was so worried about the kitten that she went downstairs to bring it back up. She had originally planned to get up early in the morning to send the kitten downstairs, but unexpectedly, two alarm clocks still didn't wake her up.
"Awake." Fortunately, Li Yansheng's voice did not sound angry.
He looked at the man and the cat with gentle eyes: "If you like them, keep them."
"Really?" Lin Shutang was pleasantly surprised and sat up, holding the cat. She had originally thought that if Li Yansheng didn't agree, she would keep the cat secretly.
"Well, let Aunt Lu take him to get vaccinated this afternoon."
Lin Shutang looked down at the cat, stroking its fur with his hands. "Sister Wanxin said it was just spanked, so it doesn't need to be spanked again for now."
The two got up and went downstairs, and Lin Shutang still brought the cat with him.
The kitten was only a few months old, but it was quite brave. However, it still couldn't go downstairs, so Lin Shutang carried the cat downstairs.
When they arrived at the restaurant, Aunt Lu was surprised to see the kitten.
Miss Chen brought her pet here once before, but her husband didn't like the dog very much and wouldn't let it go upstairs, saying it would shed. Unexpectedly, a kitten followed them downstairs today.
During breakfast, Lin Shutang took some chicken breast from the soup cooked by Aunt Lu and fed it to the kitten. He tore off the outer meat and fed the kitten the inner part, which would not have much salt.
Half an hour later, Li Yansheng glanced at the barely touched breakfast in front of her and frowned, "Eat first."
"Okay, right away." Lin Shutang agreed verbally, but his actions showed no response. He was still immersed in the joy of feeding the cat.
"Aunt Lu, take the cat away."
"Sir, this!" Aunt Lu was a little embarrassed.
"take away."
Hearing that his attitude was a bit tougher than before, Aunt Lu replied "Okay" and then stepped forward to pick up the cat: "Sorry, ma'am."
Lin Shutang was not very happy when the kitten was taken away. He sat up straight, but did not dare to say anything. He just stared at the thing in front of him and sulked.
After being in a stalemate for a while, he couldn't help but whispered, "Didn't you say you could keep her? You're not keeping your word."
Li Yansheng: "What are you talking about?"
"Nothing." Lin Shutang lowered his head and ate breakfast.
Seeing her angry but unable to speak, Li Yansheng just found it funny and said, "I didn't say I wouldn't let you raise it. Have breakfast first."
Lin Shutang's eyes lit up, but he didn't look up. However, the movement of scooping porridge was obviously much lighter than before.
After breakfast, Li Yansheng asked, "Anything else to do today?"
Lin Shutang looked up: "No, what's wrong?"
"If not, come with me to the company."
"good."
