Chapter 205 Sick at Night
The day of the thesis defense was more than half a month after Li Yansheng left.
Very smooth.
When it ended, it was around three in the afternoon and the sun was still quite bright.
The graduation photo shoot was scheduled for the next day. After Lin Shutang came out of the classroom, he didn't stay long and went straight back to Luyuan.
"My wife is back! Did the defense go well?"
"It went pretty smoothly." Lin Shutang put his bag on the sofa, picked up the round fan on the table and fanned himself with air. "It's too hot today, Aunt Lu, do you have any popsicles in the fridge?"
"No."
Li Yansheng rarely lets Lin Shutang eat cold food, so there has never been any of this in the refrigerator at home.
Lin Shutang: "Do you have yogurt?"
"have."
Lin Shutang's face lit up with joy and he stood up to get the yogurt.
Seeing that she had drunk three cans in a row, Aunt Lu said, "Madam, if you drink too much, your husband will be unhappy if he knows."
Lin Shutang waved his hand indifferently: "It's okay, he can't see it."
Then, remembering something, she added, "Aunt Lu, don't complain to him!"
Aunt Lu looked embarrassed, but she nodded in the end: "Okay."
Until before dinner, Lin Shutang still did not receive a call or text message from Li Yansheng.
During the meal, Aunt Lu noticed that Lin Shutang had checked her phone several times and explained, "Madam, my husband might be busy and forgot about it."

This excuse was too lame, but Aunt Lu didn't expose it after all.
Before going to bed, Lin Shutang felt uncomfortable in his stomach and went to the toilet several times. After that, he felt tired and went to bed early.
Around one in the morning, her physical discomfort worsened and she felt severe stomach cramps, which woke her up from her sleep.
"Yansheng, I feel sick." She clutched her stomach and spoke out of habit. When she got no response, she remembered he wasn't around. She propped herself up, turned on the light, and called Aunt Lu.
At two in the morning, Lin Shutang took medicine but didn't feel better, so she was taken to the hospital. The doctor said it was due to excessive cold. After about half an hour of injections, her discomfort was finally relieved.
Seeing Aunt Lu yawning twice in a row, Lin Shutang said, "Aunt Lu, go get some rest! I'm sorry to bother you so late."
"It's okay. I'm not that sleepy yet. I'll rest after Madam finishes the injection. There's a bed next to me anyway, so it's not a big deal. Let's go to sleep!"
Lin Shutang was probably very sleepy due to the medicine he had taken, so he did not refuse.
Lin Shutang opened her eyes around nine in the morning. Her stomach was a little empty; she was woken by hunger.
The accompanying bed was empty, and no one knew where Aunt Lu had gone.
Lin Shutang lifted the quilt and wanted to wash up, when he saw Aunt Lu coming in from the door with a thermos in her hand.
"Madam, you're awake. You must be hungry!"
Lin Shutang nodded, with a shy look on his face: "A little bit."
She went to the bathroom to wash up. When she came out, Aunt Lu scooped out breakfast for her and went outside. It was about forty minutes later when she finished breakfast.
Just as she put down the spoon, Aunt Lu came in from outside, handed her the phone in her hand, and said, "Yes, sir."
Lin Shutang had always known that Aunt Lu wouldn't hide this from Li Yansheng. But when he took the phone and saw the words "Mr. Li" displayed on the note, his heart trembled slightly.
Will he be angry and think she is ignorant?
Lin Shutang took a deep breath before speaking: "Hello."
