Chapter 215 "You alone are enough to keep me busy."
That afternoon, Lin Shutang finally couldn't resist the urge to sleep. He fell asleep on the recliner without knowing when.
When Li Yansheng came over, he saw the girl sleeping with her hands to her ears and the cell phone under her arm.
A few strands of hair were scattered on the side of his face, and he was curled up, looking thin. He looked so cute while sleeping, and it made people feel calm.
"Mr. Li, we agreed to have dinner together tonight! Bring your wife along."
Hearing the sound behind him, Li Yansheng covered the girl with the clothes in his hand, bent down and picked her up.
He replied: "Okay."
Then, he left with Lin Shutang in his arms.
After he walked away, one of the CEOs spoke up: "Haven't you heard that CEO Li got married? Have you heard?"
The person next to him shook his head: "No, maybe it's a secret marriage?"
The boss who came later heard what the two of them said and laughed contemptuously: "He said she was his wife, and you took it seriously? When you're out and about, the status of the women around you is up to you. She's just someone you keep by your side, what difference does it make?"
After hearing this, the two of them didn't say anything else. It was unclear whether they agreed with his words or disdained them.
After leaving the stadium, Li Yansheng drove the car back home.
He was not used to taking a shower outside, so most of the time when he had such a situation outside, he would go home and take a shower.
At around five o'clock, the car stopped in the garage. Li Yansheng did not carry Lin Shutang out of the car, but woke her up.
Lin Shutang opened his eyes and saw the dim light. He didn't realize where he was for a moment. He stared at him in a daze for a while before speaking: "What time is it?"
Li Yansheng glanced at the watch on his wrist: "Five nineteen."
"You slept too much and can't sleep at night. Wake up and I'll take you to dinner later."
As they were talking, the two men had already gotten out of the car.
A cool breeze blew, and Lin Shutang's sleepiness dissipated a little. "With the bosses who played basketball today?"
Li Yansheng: "Yeah."
"good."
Li Yansheng could tell she wasn't very excited, so he asked, "Don't you want to have dinner with them?"
Lin Shutang: "No."
"Really?" Although she denied it, Li Yansheng could still hear the displeasure in her tone and asked.
Lin Shutang bit his lip lightly and said, "I don't like asking the caddy to accompany your Mr. Zhang today."
Li Yansheng thought she was bothered by what Mr. Zhang said, so he put his arm around her waist and said soothingly, "If you don't like it, then don't like it. It's not an important person, so don't worry about it."
Lin Shutang wanted to say no, but then he remembered that Li Yansheng had agreed to have dinner with those people tonight, which meant that those people might be his future business partners. In the end, he didn't say anything about Mr. Zhang.
Never mind, maybe she was wrong.
Then, as if suddenly thinking of something, Lin Shutang smiled and changed the subject: "Those bosses who brought their wives today weren't their wives, right?"
Li Yansheng: "Well, no."
Some of them were caddies, and some were kept outside. In short, they were all kept out of the public eye.
After hearing this, Lin Shutang said seriously, "Your boss is indeed capable of doing things that ordinary people cannot."
Then he asked, "Will you be like them in the future?"
Li Yansheng laughed: "You alone are enough to keep me busy."
Lin Shutang's eyes turned, and he caught the loophole in his words and asked, "Am I troublesome?"
She didn't really think so when asked this question. She just said it because it suited the situation. At this moment, she was just like any other little girl.
Li Yansheng smiled faintly and shook his head without responding to her.
Lin Shutang didn't get an answer, so he asked again: "You haven't answered me yet, is it troublesome?"
The garage was filled with the sound of their voices.
Li Yansheng said, "It's not a problem."
