Chapter 250 Almost fell asleep in the bathtub
Lin Shutang has always had poor physical condition. Even though she slept almost the entire way back, she still felt extremely tired. Her whole body felt weak and she felt like she couldn't muster any strength.
Driving too fast at night is unsafe. Therefore, in the second half of the day, Li Yansheng drove much slower than when he left. Lin Shutang slept for about three and a half hours, but he didn't feel sleepy at all. He just lay in bed and stared at the ceiling in a daze.
So, when Li Yansheng came back from the study, Lin Shutang was still in the same posture as when he left, with his hands open, only half of his body lying flat on the bed, his legs on the edge of the bed, and his slippers hanging on his feet.
Hearing the door open, she pushed herself up and asked, "Are you done?"
"Yeah." Li Yansheng closed the door and asked, "Didn't you say you were tired? Why don't you rest?"
Lin Shutang: "I don't want to take a shower."
When she said this, she was unusually childish. Li Yansheng laughed, "Then I won't wash it."
Lin Shutang: "You don't mind?"
"I don't mind."
Li Yansheng didn't mind, but Lin Shutang herself did. Coming down from the mountain during the day, she was sweating profusely, and she felt dirty. She couldn't handle not showering. Especially at night, she wasn't very well-behaved, and she'd easily roll into Li Yansheng's arms. If she smelled, it would be too embarrassing.
Even though the two of them can barely be considered an old couple now, Lin Shutang still wants to maintain her image in front of Li Yansheng, for fear that one day he will suddenly remember that she didn't take a shower after climbing the mountain.
So, Lin Shutang stretched out his hand to Li Yansheng: "I still need to wash, carry me to the bathroom!"
Li Yansheng smiled, followed her movements, picked her up, and walked towards the bathroom.
When they got to the bathroom, Li Yansheng put Lin Shutang on a chair and ran the toilet himself.
"Bath or shower?"
"Let's take a bath!" Lin Shutang sat backwards on the chair, his hands resting on the backrest, his head tilted on his arms as he looked at him. He looked listless and still looked like he had little strength left.
Li Yansheng smiled and said, "Looks like I'll have to take you out for more exercise in the future."
When Lin Shutang heard this, she immediately imagined herself running behind Li Yansheng. Just imagining it made her breathless and her throat dry and itchy with a sweet, fishy feeling.
So he refused and said, "I don't want it. I'm already taking Chinese medicine. I just need to take more supplements."
The water in the bathtub was almost full, and Li Yansheng carried Lin Shutang over again.
"Get out!"
Li Yansheng didn't insist and went out with a smile. However, about ten minutes later, he came back in. By then, Lin Shutang had already taken off his clothes and was soaking in the water.
Probably because the water temperature was too comfortable, she even felt a little drowsy.
Seeing her body sliding into the water little by little, Li Yansheng put the pajamas in his hand on the chair, walked over quickly, and pulled her out of the water.
Lin Shutang woke up with a start. Seeing the person in front of him, he was still a little confused and asked, "What's wrong?"
Li Yansheng didn't say anything and started taking off his shirt.
In just a moment, the slight sleepiness that Lin Shutang had just felt disappeared.
Even though they had done it many times before, in such an environment, Lin Shutang still felt that she couldn't do it when she saw Li Yansheng taking off his clothes. So she tilted her head and asked, "What are you doing?"
As soon as I asked, I felt the water in the bathtub ripple.
When I looked back, Li Yansheng had already entered the bathtub.
Lin Shutang felt that his face had never been redder than it was now.
Looking at Li Yansheng again, I heard him say, "You are not safe like this now."
When he said this, his face was full of indifference. Lin Shutang's ears became more sensitive, as if she had misunderstood. However, she did not intend to tell Li Yansheng.
