Chapter 256: A part of the young couple's play
Lin Shutang didn't expect to see Yao Qianqian again so soon.
Li Yansheng was on the phone, and Lin Shutang was waiting for him at the restaurant entrance. Then, Yao Qianqian emerged from the ATM not far from the restaurant, holding a bank card. She muttered something, but Lin Shutang didn't hear it all. He only caught the last line: "Stingy thing! You've been paying for so long, and this is all you'll give me."
However, Yao Qianqian's unpleasant expression didn't last long. After a while, Mr. Zhao got out of the car next to her and walked towards her.
The two of them must have booked a table at the same restaurant. Lin Shutang saw them walking towards him.
She didn't like either of them, so she moved aside to make way.
Who would have thought that when Mr. Zhao passed by Lin Shutang, he stopped.
Lin Shutang saw the smile on his face and opened his mouth, obviously wanting to say something. But the next second, his expression changed and he took back the words that were on his lips.
The next second, feeling the warmth on his waist, Lin Shutang turned around and saw that it was Li Yansheng.

Li Yansheng didn't respond to Lin Shutang's words. He just put his arm around her waist and said, "Stay away from these two people from now on."

While eating, Li Yansheng received a work call. Lin Shutang was afraid of disturbing him, so he moved more quietly.
Li Yansheng noticed it, put a piece of beef into her bowl, signaled with his eyes, and stood up to leave.
Li Yansheng's call lasted for a long time, so long that Lin Shutang had not returned from dinner.
Jiang Qinyuan just happened to send a message, so Lin Shutang started chatting with her.
[I forgot to tell you last time that Zhang Ran gave Yao Qianqian a beating over the small bread incident. However, my eldest brother told me that she has some connections with the Sheng family, and the Zhang and Sheng families still cooperate, so they didn't want to cause any problems, so they didn't go too far.]
Looking at their chat history, which suddenly jumped from the latest hit TV series to Yao Qianqian, Lin Shutang was amused by Jiang Qinyuan's jumping thoughts: "Why are you suddenly talking about her again?"

Jiang Qinyuan sent a cute emoji of a child rolling their eyes, and replied: [It’s sweet, but now I feel like I’m just part of your young couple’s play. Bye.]
I don’t know if it’s because the emoticon is too vivid, or because of the word “husband and wife”, but Lin Shutang looked at the screen and a smile unconsciously appeared on his lips.
When Li Yansheng returned, he saw the little girl smiling at the screen. Unconsciously, a smile appeared on his face as well: "What are you looking at?"
Lin Shutang put away his phone: "No, it's just that Yuanyuan said something interesting to me."
Li Yansheng raised his eyebrows when he heard this, but did not ask any further questions.
