In the lounge, the father and son sat opposite each other.
Li Yansheng lit a cigarette, leaned on the sofa with his legs folded together, and puffed out the cigarette slowly, as if he was not surprised at all that Li Guangsong was looking for him.
Li Guangsong looked at his son opposite him. He didn't know when it started, but his son had grown to a level that most people could hardly reach, and he was becoming increasingly unable to understand his thoughts.

Li Yansheng didn't care at all and stood up to leave.

The door of the lounge was opened and Lin Shutang was standing at the door waiting.
When Li Yansheng saw the girl standing at the door, the coldness on his face disappeared. He walked over and put his coat on her. "Why are you here?"
Lin Shutang didn't answer him. He clutched his coat with both hands, glanced around him and asked, "Are you okay?"
Li Yansheng laughed out loud: "Are you worried that I'll get beaten?"
Lin Shutang nodded: "I heard him scold you."

After going downstairs, Lin Shutang sent a message to Zhang Wanxin, and the two did not return to the banquet hall.
On the way back, Lin Shutang didn't say a word. He opened the window and stared blankly at the street scene outside that was rapidly receding.
Li Yansheng could tell she was worried, so he didn't bother her. He waited until she got home, and when he saw her lying on the bed, still in a daze, he asked, "Are you worried about something?"
Lin Shutang rested his head on his chest and was silent for a long time before looking up: "Did I embarrass you?"
Li Yansheng put his hand on her shoulder and rubbed it, looking down at her, and said in a low voice: "No."
Lin Shutang: "I heard him tell you that he wanted to replace you."
When the two were talking, the door of the lounge was not locked, but just ajar, and Lin Shutang heard almost the entire conversation.
Subjectively, she didn't want to cause trouble for Li Yansheng's career, but objectively, she seemed to have become an obstacle to his career. This was an established fact, not something she could avoid by not thinking about it.
