Chapter 62 He went to the rental house
"Almost forty degrees. Have you caught a cold recently?"
"After coming out of the hot spring, she lay on the sofa for about two hours." Li Yansheng stood aside with his hands in his trouser pockets. "Give her another blood test."
"Okay, Mr. Li."
Jiang Qinyuan listened, somewhat bewildered. Why did he need a blood test for a fever? And Shutang seemed much more energetic now. Was that really okay? He had been listless before, but now he looked completely fine.
"Doctor, is she okay? Why does she seem so energetic all of a sudden?"
The doctor understood what she meant and explained, "It's okay. Some people are like this. They feel uncomfortable when they have a low fever, but they don't feel anything when it's high."

The next morning, Lin Shutang woke up at around 9:00. He tilted his head to see Li Yansheng, his arms folded across his chest, half-reclining on the accompanying bed with his eyes closed. He was still wearing the same clothes he'd worn the night before, with a light bluish stubble on his face and a faint dark blue tint under his eyes. The bed, about a meter wide, felt a bit cramped for him.
The nurse pushed the door open and came in, taking Lin Shutang's temperature: "No fever anymore, you can be discharged after completing the formalities."
"Thanks."
Li Yansheng heard the voice and stood up from the accompanying bed and stood beside the nurse. After the nurse left, he asked, "Are you hungry?"
“A little.”
"Pack up and I'll take you to breakfast."
After saying that, Li Yansheng turned around, picked up a bag on the bedside table and went into the bathroom.
The man had a broad back, and the bag of toiletries looked very small in his hands.
Lin Shutang was thinking about what happened last night. She still remembered the conversation she had with Li Yansheng last night.
Lin Shutang was surprised that he came to school last night. After all, she was the one who deliberately approached them with calculations.
On the surface, Li Yansheng seemed to accept everything naturally, but he never took the initiative to take a step forward. He hadn't promised her any status; girlfriend seemed out of the question, and lover, he hadn't mentioned it either.

He handed her another bag from the bedside table: "Go wash up!"
"good."
When they came out of the restaurant, Li Yansheng was driving the car himself. When the car was halfway there, Lin Shutang recognized that it was the road to the rental house.
The car stopped at the foot of the rental building. Lin Shutang got out, and Li Yansheng also got out of the driver's seat. He asked, "Would you like me to come in and sit for a while?"
Hearing this, Lin Shutang paused in his attempt to close the door. Last time, she'd asked him if he wanted to come up and sit down, and he'd said there were things he wasn't suited to do. Now, he'd taken the initiative. It seemed like everything had changed overnight.
She nodded slightly and took Li Yansheng upstairs.
Lin Shutang's door was painted white, making it look new, but it was actually the same old iron door. If you look closely, you can still vaguely see the original red color beneath the white paint. This type of door is not soundproof and has only limited anti-theft effects.
Li Yansheng watched Lin Shutang take out the key from her bag and open the door. It didn't seem easy, so he pulled the door handle and tried several times before he successfully opened it.
