Chapter 15: Getting Women
Seeing Jiang Beiqian coming over, Lin Shutang handed over the gift in his hand and greeted him politely: "Mr. Jiang, happy birthday to you."
"Thank you." Jiang Beiqian took the item and handed it to the assistant behind him. He had met Lin Shutang several times before and had a good impression of his younger sister's friend.
He spoke gently, like an elder: "Have fun. Tell Yuanyuan if you need anything."
Then he told his sister: "Yuanyuan, take good care of your friend."
"I know, my bestie, do I need you to tell me?" Jiang Qinyuan rolled her eyes. "Go away! Your friends are waiting for you!"
There were actually quite a few people at the birthday party. I guess the saying that big shots like quiet is probably not true.
Lin Shutang didn't understand the intrigues in the business world, but he could understand that if he wanted to win over a partner, he couldn't let his competitors appear in front of him.
Perhaps that was what Jiang Beiqian was thinking. However, since they were all in the same circle and would be doing business together in the future, it was not a wise move to simply say, "I don't want to play with you." However, these were just Lin Shutang's guesses, and she had no intention of asking Jiang Qinyuan for confirmation.
"Shutang, eat something first. Some things haven't been delivered yet. I'll go check! I asked someone to prepare some milk for you. You can drink some if you're tired of desserts."
Lin Shutang turned his head to look at the wine display area and indeed saw a few boxes of pure milk.
The pure white color, under the cold light, has a bluish tint, which contrasts starkly with the dark red wine next to it.
Due to health reasons, Lin Shutang always feels uncomfortable after drinking, so she basically doesn't drink. Jiang Qinyuan has never seen her drink, so she thought she doesn't know how to drink.

Today is Jiang Beiqian's birthday. She didn't want to make a big deal out of it and ruin his happy day, so she ignored them, put the milk on the table, and turned around to walk out.
The cool air from the corridor blew towards me, dispelling the chaotic feeling in the box.

Maybe because he felt stuffy, his tie was pulled and hung casually, not as neat as usual.

The person who was speaking was a woman. Lin Shutang recognized her as the one who was talking about the gold digger just now.
She was wearing a form-fitting dress with a low V-neck.
Lin Shutang is not a pushover. Just because she doesn't want to cause trouble doesn't mean she won't get angry. She glanced at the woman's collar and said, "I think it's obvious which of us looks more like a gold digger!"
