The rain wasn't as torrential as yesterday; it gradually subsided, but it still drizzled on and on until noon. Outside, the sky slowly cleared, and sunlight shone through the clouds onto the earth.
"Then I'll head back now." Jiang Kefan put on his coat, stood up, and said goodbye to Li Younan. Although they were initially enemies, he suddenly felt that the time he spent with Li Younan wasn't so bad after all.

Jiang Kefan's home wasn't exactly close, but it wasn't far either. He walked home alone, and when he got there, he found that Jiang Hua and Gu Yiming weren't home yet, and he felt a surge of annoyance towards them. He put his backpack on the floor, turned on the TV, took a cold drink from the refrigerator, and then immediately curled up on the sofa to watch cartoons, feeling extremely comfortable!
At that very moment, Jiang Hua and Gu Yiming were having a great time in another city. They had gone to the beach and night market a few days ago, and were now browsing an art gallery. As Jiang Hua walked, she turned around and suddenly Gu Yiming was gone. She panicked and searched everywhere but couldn't find him.
"Where did this guy go?!" Jiang Hua was pouting and complaining when suddenly someone covered her eyes from behind. She knew those big hands all too well. Jiang Hua removed the hands: "Where did you just go?!"
"I've been hiding and watching you, and I'm so happy to see you blushing with anxiety because you can't find me!" Gu Yiming couldn't help but laugh as he spoke. Jiang Hua was so silly, she was adorably naive.
"You're so mean, I'm not talking to you anymore!" Jiang Hua pretended to be angry, stomped her foot, and was about to leave.
"Hey! Don't be angry! I'll take you to a seafood buffet tonight, okay, darling!" Gu Yiming had seen all of Jiang Hua's different sides and knew she wasn't really angry, she just needed him to coax her. So he went up to her, put his arms around her waist, and whispered in her ear.
"Alright, but you're not allowed to disappear all the time from now on!" Jiang Hua blinked and gently bumped Gu Yiming's forehead with her head.
"Okay!"
Without Jiang Kefan acting as a third wheel, Jiang Hua and Gu Yiming were getting along wonderfully, just like a couple deeply in love. Those around them simply watched quietly as the two showed their affection.
Gu Yiming kept his promise and took Jiang Hua to the most luxurious and expensive seafood buffet restaurant in town that evening. Gu Yiming felt that he had spent the whole day with Jiang Hua and could finally have a proper meal. However, he later realized how naive he had been!
"I want to eat lobster, but its shell is too hard, and my hand hurts." Jiang Hua pouted, looking at Gu Yiming with a wronged expression.
Jiang Hua had already put it this way, and Gu Yiming wasn't stupid. He shook his head helplessly and started peeling shrimp for Jiang Hua. While peeling, he said, "How old are you! You're still like a child. You're almost unable to take care of yourself!"
However, Jiang Hua gave Gu Yiming a sly smile. She didn't stop there, asking him to help her get crabs and pick out fish bones. Although it was a bit of a hassle, Gu Yiming agreed to everything, thinking to himself: "What can I do? She's my wife, I have to spoil her!"
After dinner, the two returned to the hotel. Gu Yiming took off his coat and went to take a shower first. Jiang Hua, savoring the happy and fulfilling past few days, lay there alone, chuckling to herself. Suddenly, she felt that she hadn't enjoyed the memories enough and wanted to share them with someone. So Jiang Hua grabbed her bag from the bed, took out her phone, and dialed Ye Qingqing's number.
"What's wrong, Jiang Hua?" Ye Qingqing answered the phone shortly after.
"It's nothing, I've just been so happy these past few days! I wanted to tell you!" Jiang Hua's voice was filled with barely suppressed sweetness and excitement as she spoke!
"Oh my, you two are so happy together! You're even showing off your love to me." Ye Qingqing teased, but she was actually very happy for Jiang Hua.
"No way! I wasn't showing off our relationship at all. We're clearly very much in love!"
"I don't care, you have to bring me a gift when you come back from your trip!" While listening to Jiang Hua share her happiness, Ye Qingqing didn't forget to "extort" Jiang Hua a bit.
"That's for sure!"
Jiang Hua shared some fun things that happened during her trip with Ye Qingqing. Suddenly, she turned her head and saw Gu Yiming standing at the bathroom door in a bathrobe, having finished showering sometime earlier.
"Who are you talking to? Hmm?" Gu Yiming walked over and, without saying a word, snatched Jiang Hua's phone and hung up, the whole action done in one smooth motion.
"Hey, what are you doing! I'm on the phone with my friend!" Jiang Hua was a little flustered and glared at Gu Yiming. She thought to herself: Even though Ye Qingqing and I are good friends, it's still very impolite to hang up on someone like that!
"Which friend? Male or female?" Gu Yiming ignored Jiang Hua's eye roll and continued to ask her.
"A woman! Ye Qingqing!" Jiang Hua was truly at a loss for words: the two of them had such a good relationship, what was Gu Yiming thinking all day long? Did he really think she would elope with someone else?
"I don't care, you've been calling her all the time and ignoring me!" Gu Yiming persisted, sitting down next to Jiang Hua with his arms crossed, looking a little aggrieved.
"No, I'm not neglecting you! I like you the most!" Jiang Hua found Gu Yiming's jealousy somewhat adorable and couldn't help but laugh, hugging him.
Gu Yiming took the opportunity to put his arm around Jiang Hua and then pushed her onto the bed.
"Hey! What are you doing!" Jiang Hua glared and stretched out her hands to push Gu Yiming away.
"Didn't you say you wanted to have a baby for me? Come on!"
"No way? I haven't even showered yet!" Jiang Hua still refused, thinking to herself: Gu Yiming, you old scoundrel!
"Why take a shower? No need! Didn't you shower this morning? You're not dirty." Gu Yiming said, rolling over and pressing down on him. "Be good, don't move!"
Jiang Hua blinked, gave up resisting, and the two continued their baby-making plan.
