Jiang Hua felt a chill run down her spine and covered her stomach even more tightly. Why was Xu Xiaoxiao staring at her stomach like that? Her stomach hadn't done anything to her.
Jiang Hua smiled faintly, "Xiao Xiao, I'm going back to my ward now. You go get your checkup done. Take care of yourself. Bye-bye." She hurriedly disappeared from Xu Xiao Xiao's sight.
As soon as she stepped through the door, Xiaoya began to breathe rapidly. Recalling Xu Xiaoxiao's hateful gaze, she still felt lingering fear. Could she have done something to her child?

"Doctor, thank you!" Xu Xiaoxiao grabbed her bag and ran downstairs in a flash.
Back at the villa, Xu Xiaoxiao tossed her bag onto the sofa, closed her eyes, and lay down comfortably.
The doctor's words kept replaying in my mind.

"Baby, Mommy is so happy to have you."

"Jiang Hua, you wait."
Xu Xiaoxiao said fiercely, a wicked smile creeping onto her lips.
She silently pondered how to deal with Jiang Hua next.
In the hospital
"Xiaoya, are you feeling better?" Xue Qing held a bouquet of fresh flowers and a basket of fruit, placing them on the table.
Xue Qing said to Xiao Ya with heartache, "Gu Yiming is really something, he can't protect you properly, he made you suffer such a big fright." She took Xiao Ya's hand and held it tightly.
"You! Don't exaggerate like that. I'm not dead, what does it have to do with Gu Yiming?" Xiaoya pulled her hand away from Xue Qing's and poked her head. "By the way, why didn't Chen Jianing come today?"
"Xiaoya, why are you like this? Even if she doesn't come, I'm still here, aren't I?" Xue Qing touched her head, looking jealous, and pouted.
Xiaoya sighed helplessly and ignored her; she knew her "nature"—that was just how she was. So, she continued peeling the orange by herself.
Just as I was about to put the orange in my mouth, suddenly, a devilish hand reached out.
"Okay, since you peeled the orange for me, I'll tell you, Chen Jianing had something to do today and didn't come." Then she ate it in big bites.
Jiang Hua was already used to Xue Qing's behavior: "Oh, I see."
"Xue Qing, can I be discharged from the hospital now?" Xiao Ya turned to look at her, blinking her big eyes.
Upon hearing this, Xue Qing replied without hesitation, "No, there's still a week left! You stay put, and don't go without my permission." Xue Qing found it strange; was Jiang Hua's head filled with nothing but bean curd residue? What was she thinking? After being so frightened, she still wanted to run around recklessly? No way.
Jiang Hua knew she couldn't argue with Xue Qing, so she wisely kept quiet, stuck out her tongue, and continued eating.
At noon, when the doctor came to check on her, Jiang Hua, with the doctor's permission, was discharged from the hospital early while Xue Qing was not around.
"Xue Qing, you want to stop me? The doctor has already agreed, what else do you have to say?" Xiao Ya laughed like a child and skipped out of the hospital.
She sniffed the fragrance of the world everywhere, like a curious newborn baby. Her face was beaming with a bright smile.
"Xiaoya." Hmm, why does it sound like someone is calling me?
Nobody's here! It's been so long since I've exercised, is my brain hallucinating?
"Jiang Hua." A gentle, delicate female voice echoed in my ears once again.
Okay, this time, Jiang Hua is sure she didn't mishear.
Jiang Hua looked in the direction of the sound and saw Xu Xiaoxiao. What was she doing here? Hadn't she just been discharged from the hospital? Hadn't she gone home yet?
"Xiaoya, you're discharged from the hospital! That's great!" Xu Xiaoxiao said, feigning happiness.
In reality, he secretly wished that Xiaoya would stay in the hospital forever, so that no one would compete with him for Gu Yiming.
"Well, Xu Xiaoxiao, the doctor said I can be discharged. How are you? Are you alright?" Although she didn't particularly like Xu Xiaoxiao, Jiang Hua still greeted her out of polite concern.

Just as Xiaoya was still puzzled, suddenly, a piece of paper slowly fell from behind Xu Xiaoxiao, like an autumn leaf, swirling in the air until it landed.
But Jiang Hua didn't see that just a second before the paper fell, Xu Xiaoxiao moved her lips, and then, without hesitation, let go of the hand that was hiding behind her back.
"What's that?" Jiang Hua pointed to the paper on the ground, but didn't pick it up immediately. After all, it was someone else's privacy, and it wouldn't be good to see it. "Yours, the lab report?"
Xu Xiaoxiao was secretly pleased with herself. "Jiang Hua, you're too easy to fool. You fell for my little trick. You little brat, I'll show you what I'm made of."
However, Xu Xiaoxiao's acting skills are really too good. It would be a waste of her talent if she didn't win an Oscar for Best Actor.
