"Here, have some more water?" Gu Nanqing picked up a water glass and handed it to Xu Xiaoxiao, but Xu Xiaoxiao refused, almost knocking the glass to the ground because of the large movement.
Seeing the water stains on Xu Xiaoxiao's sleeve, Gu Nanqing's face immediately darkened, but he held back his anger for the sake of his purpose.
"How are you? Are you feeling better?" Gu Nanqing pretended not to care and asked anxiously again. After a long while, Xu Xiaoxiao finally recovered.
Feeling the strong hand gently patting her back, Xu Xiaoxiao was deeply moved. She smiled weakly at Gu Nanqing and said, "Thank you for helping me."
"It's nothing, it's all what I should do." Gu Nanqing waved his hand dismissively, then said, "Do you need me to help you to rest? You've been through so much, you're probably exhausted."

Gu Nanqing thought Xu Xiaoxiao would definitely push him away, but she didn't. Xu Xiaoxiao was conscious when she kissed him. Realizing this, he no longer hesitated and picked up Xu Xiaoxiao and carried her upstairs.
Since it was a mutual consent process, Gu Nanqing had no more reservations and threw the person onto the bed, then leaned over and pressed down on him.
