After saying that, she bent down and said to Jiang Kefan, "Fanfan, if your dad calls me later, tell him I'm going upstairs for some fresh air!" Then she turned and left.
The noblewoman was a regular at these kinds of gatherings, so she understood that Jiang Hua didn't really like this kind of flattery. Therefore, after Jiang Hua left, she also left.
After some time, Gu Yiming finally finished dealing with everyone, looked around and, not finding Jiang Hua and her son, began to search.
Finally, they found Jiang Kefan sitting in an inconspicuous corner, listlessly eating dessert.
Gu Yiming strode towards Jiang Kefan, and Jiang Kefan, seeing that her father had finally finished dealing with the situation, happily ran towards Gu Yiming.
After running up to Gu Yiming, Jiang Kefan immediately threw herself into her father's arms and said in a spoiled tone, "Dad, why did you take so long to come over! I was so bored by myself."
Hearing Jiang Kefan's words, Gu Yiming affectionately patted his head and said, "Daddy was wrong. I won't do it again next time, okay? Where's your mother? Where did she go? I haven't seen her."
Upon hearing Gu Yiming's question, Jiang Kefan replied, "Mom told me to tell you that she went upstairs to wait for you. She said she needed some fresh air, so you should go find her!"
After listening to Jiang Kefan's words, Gu Yiming nodded and instructed him, "I'm going to find your mother. You stay here and be good! We'll be right back." Then he put Jiang Kefan down and went to find Jiang Hua.
Gu Yiming had just reached the second floor when he heard cries for help, but he didn't pay attention and prepared to leave to look for Jiang Hua. However, just as he was about to leave, a woman suddenly pounced on him, and he was caught off guard and knocked down by her.
At that moment, Jiang Hua also came over because she had heard the cries for help earlier. Unexpectedly, when she arrived, she found Gu Yiming being tackled to the ground by a woman.
She opened her eyes wide and looked at Gu Yiming. Gu Yiming, who had been stunned by being suddenly tackled, immediately came to his senses when he saw Jiang Hua standing beside him. He quickly pushed the woman away and got up to explain to Jiang Hua.
But Jiang Hua, seeing this, wouldn't listen to his explanation. Seeing him get up and walk over, she turned and left. Gu Yiming ran after her and grabbed her hand.

Just as Gu Yiming was explaining to Jiang Hua, the other people at the gathering noticed what was happening because of the commotion the woman was making and all came over to watch the show.
Jiang Hua believed Gu Yiming after hearing what he said. But suddenly she frowned because she noticed that the woman had come over.
Gu Yiming coldly watched the woman who was walking quickly towards him. The woman suddenly knelt down in front of Gu Yiming.
She cried as she said, "Mr. Gu, please save me! That person tried to hurt me. Please, only you can save me."
Hearing the woman's words, Gu Yiming remained indifferent. He looked at the woman kneeling before him but said nothing.
However, when the bad guy saw that the woman was actually seeking Gu Yiming's help, he felt that with Gu Yiming around, he would have absolutely no chance of doing anything else. So, seeing that things were not going well, he tried to run away, but was caught by the security guards who came to help.
Seeing that the bad guy had been caught, Gu Yiming ignored the woman and coldly led Jiang Hua downstairs to find Jiang Kefan.
Everyone was very surprised to see that Gu Yiming ignored the woman and left with Jiang Hua. The woman was then taken away as well.
