Xu Mo sent people to investigate the woman's identity multiple times, but to no avail. Each investigation resulted in a blank entry for her identity. Xu Mo knew this was the result of someone tampering with the information.
When the woman's identity was initially left blank during the initial investigation, Xu Mo could attribut it to his subordinates' negligence. However, after numerous investigations yielding the same result, it was no longer a matter of negligence on his part.
So one evening at dinner, he questioned, "Who sent you? What is your purpose in deliberately getting close to me?"
Upon hearing Xu Mo's question, the woman paused, and a flicker of panic crossed her eyes. However, she quickly suppressed it. Because she did so so quickly, Xu Mo didn't notice.
After a moment's pause, the woman quickly reacted, immediately stood up, and slapped Xu Mo across the face.
And tears welled up in her eyes. If she were to become an actress, she would definitely be a very good one.
She cried and said to Xu Mo, "How could you look at me like that? You were the one who took my virginity when you were drunk, weren't you? What woman would joke about her virginity?"
Hearing the woman's words, Xu Mo remained silent. The woman continued, "Don't you know how I've treated you these past few days? I've been completely open and honest with you, yet you suspect I was sent by someone else. You've really hurt me deeply." With that, the woman continued to cry.
Xu Mo was extremely annoyed by the woman's incessant crying. However, he didn't question her about who had sent her, because he knew that even if he asked, she wouldn't tell him, and would only cry even harder.
So Xu Mo simply said to the woman, "Alright, stop crying, I won't ask you anymore, okay?"
Upon hearing Xu Mo's words, the woman immediately stopped crying and looked at him, saying, "Really? You really believe me?"
Hearing the woman ask him this, Xu Mo could only nod helplessly. He simply didn't want to listen to her crying anymore; he found it too noisy. And so the matter was dropped.
Frustrated at not getting anything out of the woman, Xu Mo left the hotel and went to a bar for a drink.
As he was drinking, Xu Mo felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He turned around and found Gu Nanqing standing behind him.
He turned around indifferently and said, "What are you doing here?" Hearing Xu Mo ask this, Gu Nanqing immediately laughed and said, "What, do you own this bar? You're allowed to come, but I'm not?"
Upon hearing Gu Nanqing's words, Xu Mo remained silent, continuing to drink one glass of wine after another.
Gu Nanqing, who was standing to the side, looked at Xu Mo, who was drowning his sorrows in alcohol, and a strange and unknown light flashed in his eyes.
He looked at Xu Mo, who was still drinking, and said with a smile, "What's wrong? Why did you suddenly come to a bar to drown your sorrows? You can tell me what's bothering you! Don't keep it to yourself. Where did that spirited Xu Mo go?"

When Gu Nanqing heard Xu Mo's answer, a triumphant smile flashed in his eyes. He wanted to incite Xu Mo's hatred towards Gu Yiming and the others so that he could pull Xu Mo to his side.
So he said to Xu Mo, "Since Xiao Xiao was forced into a drug rehabilitation center by Gu Yiming, and you are now paralyzed from the waist down because of Hu Haoran, do you want to take revenge and let them taste the pain you suffered?"
Xu Mo looked at Gu Nanqing, puzzled. Gu Nanqing revealed his next plan to Xu Mo and invited him, "If you can join me, I believe my plan will have a much higher chance of success. Then we can both take our revenge."
Hearing Gu Nanqing say this, Xu Mo was extremely shocked. He hadn't expected Gu Nanqing to have such a plan. He then said, "Let me go back and think about it, and I'll give you an answer later." After saying that, he left.
