Jiang Hua's heart was filled with hope when she saw that Gu Yiming was willing to step in to save her. She looked at Gu Yiming's tone, which was firm, and although his face was expressionless, it felt like a deep blue sea, where one could not see what was hidden at a glance.
She glanced around and saw the expressions of her so-called relatives and the second male lead, each with distinct emotions, just like a family drama.
Jiang Zhaolin's inner turmoil was all written on his face: a mixture of hatred for Jiang Hua and a joyful desire for Qi Yanxu to take her away quickly, along with a strange expression. Jiang Shiwan looked furious. Her fiancé was actually making decisions for his sister. Jiang Hua stayed obediently behind Gu Yiming, which reassured him, allowing him to confront Qi Yanxu without restraint.
It's quite domineering, really. Gu Yiming's method of dealing with Qi Yanxu was very simple: he threatened him.
Gu Yiming looked at Qi Yanxu, straightening his clothes which were slightly wrinkled from the earlier tugging, and said to him, "Qi Yanxu, don't blame me for not warning you, you'd better not mess with me. I know exactly what's going on with this marriage. Now, let me take Jiang Hua away safely, and I won't investigate further. Otherwise, I swear on the reputation of the Gu Group, I will ruin your reputation!"
Gu Yiming's words hit the nail on the head, and Qi Yanxu felt a little flustered. He looked at Jiang Zhaolin, only to see that Jiang Zhaolin's eyes were darting around, unwilling to talk to Qi Yanxu. He then looked at Jiang Shiwan, hoping that she could control her fiancé, but Jiang Shiwan was not the type to take action.
