The next morning, Jiang Hua prepared food at home and took it to the hospital as usual. Just as Jiang Hua entered the ward and placed the food container on the table, the man opened his eyes.
"You're awake." Jiang Hua said to the man, while setting out the tableware and preparing his breakfast.
"Hmm, you're here early." The man sat up, and Jiang Hua placed the food on the table in front of him, handing him a spoon. This attentive care made the man feel somewhat uncomfortable.
"I can do it myself, my arm isn't injured."
Upon hearing his words, Jiang Hua touched her head and smiled.
"Oh yeah, I forgot. You can eat it yourself."
Jiang Hua has been bringing this man food every day for the past few days, believing that he will recover faster if he eats well.
"Why do you always make bones for me?" the man asked, looking up as he ate.
"Because... the old folks say you are what you eat to replenish what you are meant to eat, and I thought eating bones would help you recover faster," Jiang Hua said, touching her nose somewhat embarrassed.
This made him burst into laughter.
After finishing his breakfast, the man wiped his mouth and said to Jiang Hua, who was clearing away the dishes, "You don't need to take care of me anymore. I'm almost fully recovered. I'm thinking of staying a few more days before going home to recuperate. It's never as good as home in the hospital." Jiang Hua thought for a moment, and was about to answer the man when the door to the ward was pushed open, and a man walked in with an apple in his hand, sat down in a chair and peeled the apple.
Jiang Hua glanced at the man peeling an apple. The man noticed her confusion and smiled, saying, "This is the guy next to me who's jealous, my boyfriend." The man stopped peeling the apple, looked up, and smiled at Jiang Hua. "Hello."
Jiang Hua blankly replied with a "hello" to the man. She felt an awkward silence, as if she had disturbed them. She walked to the table, picked up her lunchbox, and said to the man lying on the hospital bed,
"Since you have someone to take care of you, I won't bother you any longer. I'll be going now."
The man nodded and said to Jiang Hua, "Drive carefully."
As Jiang Hua left the hospital, she remembered what the man had said about Gu Yiming being jealous of her, and couldn't help but find it amusing. Gu Yiming actually got jealous of her and even went to the hospital to threaten others. How come she had never noticed how cute Gu Yiming was before?
Jiang Hua stood by the roadside and hailed a taxi to a supermarket near her home.
Jiang Hua got out of the car and went to the supermarket to buy some ingredients. She was going to cook a nice meal for Gu Yiming tonight. Jiang Hua picked and chose in the supermarket, but she didn't know what Gu Yiming liked to eat. She couldn't help but feel a little annoyed. She picked out some ingredients that looked pretty and went home with bags of them.
Jiang Hua changed her clothes as soon as she got home, went into the kitchen, and busied herself there all afternoon. Finally, she brought dinner to the table and waited for Gu Yiming to come home.
Gu Yiming thought about going home tonight, and with the lights off, he immediately lost all hope of going home. He slowly went upstairs, took out his keys and opened the door, only to see Jiang Hua standing at the door with a bright smile on her face.
Gu Yiming's mood immediately improved, and he looked at Jiang Hua and said,
"Why are you back so early today?"
Jiang Hua pulled Gu Yiming into the house and closed the door. "If you wanted to come back, you would have come back much earlier."
Gu Yiming glanced at Jiang Hua, feeling that she was acting a little strange today. Gu Yiming changed his shoes and went into the house, Jiang Hua following behind him. Gu Yiming turned to look at Jiang Hua, "Why are you following me?"

"Go ahead and ask, what's the question?"

Jiang Hua stood up and approached Gu Yiming step by step. Looking at her, Gu Yiming felt a slight panic, unable to fathom what this woman was planning.
Gu Yiming subconsciously took a step back, but Jiang Hua moved closer even faster, grabbed Gu Yiming's tie and pulled him down, her lips quickly covering his.
Gu Yiming slowly closed his wide eyes, taking the initiative to deepen the kiss. His hands also wandered to Jiang Hua's waist.
