Gu Yiming sat on the hotel bed, watching the seconds tick by. Suddenly, the door opened, and the manager walked in nervously with a laptop.
"Mr. Gu, this is the woman who took Miss Jiang away." The manager said carefully, handing the notebook to Gu Yiming and pointing to the woman on the screen.
Gu Yiming looked up at the woman on the screen and saw the two of them laughing and joking. His worry about Jiang Hua instantly lessened. "Who is this person?" Gu Yiming was still worried and asked immediately.
"Mr. Gu, all we can find is that the name on the card the woman swiped when she picked up Ms. Jiang was Su Wenwen. We really can't find anything else," the manager said, trembling slightly. He was helpless when it came to these clients' private information.
Gu Yiming picked up his phone and dialed a number. "Hey, Xiao Zhang, find information about someone named Su Wenwen right now. Send it to me as soon as you find it." Gu Yiming hung up the phone without waiting for a reply.

"Here's the information you requested." Xiao Zhang placed Su Wenwen's file next to Gu Yiming and stood silently awaiting further instructions.
Gu Yiming picked up the documents and started reading. His heart gradually calmed down. It turned out that Jiang Hua and Su Wenwen were best friends, so he had nothing to worry about.
Gu Yiming walked straight out the door, and Xiao Zhang obediently followed behind. Gu Yiming walked to the car and drove off. The assistant was speechless and dared not complain about his boss, so he had no choice but to take a taxi back to the company.
Gu Yiming kept his foot on the gas pedal the whole way, and when he thought of Jiang Hua waiting for him at home, he couldn't help but speed up even more.

Gu Yiming picked up his phone, found Jiang Hua's number, and dialed it without hesitation.
"The raging sands, white hair on the pillow, wine in the cup, a gesture of youthful elegance, fine clothes and spirited horses, all but a fleeting moment..." Jiang Hua's phone rang on the sofa. Jiang Hua went over and saw the name on it, and the corner of her mouth twitched involuntarily.
Jiang Hua hesitated for a long time before answering the phone. "Jiang Hua, I'm warning you, you'd better show up in front of me right now, or you'll regret it." As soon as Jiang Hua answered the phone, she heard Gu Yiming's furious voice and hung up without thinking.
Gu Yiming's hand holding the phone froze instantly. Before he could finish speaking, Jiang Hua hung up on him.
Gu Yiming called Jiang Hua again. Su Wenwen, who had just finished washing the dishes in the kitchen, heard Jiang Hua's phone ringing incessantly, but Jiang Hua showed no intention of answering.

"Hang up. How dare a man like him call?" Su Wenwen said bluntly, which coincided with Jiang Hua's thoughts, and she immediately pressed the hang-up button.
Jiang Hua and Su Wenwen continued to sit on the sofa watching a boring TV series. After a while, their phones rang again. Jiang Hua pretended not to hear it and continued watching TV.
The phone kept ringing incessantly, and Jiang Hua found the sound so annoying that she eventually turned it off and tossed it aside.
On the other side, Gu Yiming was not as happy as Jiang Hua. He sat on the sofa with a dark expression, staring at his phone.
"I'll count to three. If you don't give me the painting, you'll regret it," Gu Yiming muttered to himself.
After waiting for a minute without hearing a sound from the phone, I tossed it aside, picked up the bottle, poured myself a full glass of wine, gulped it down, slammed the glass down on the coffee table, and left.
"Wenwen, I need to tell you what Gu Yiming did to me." Jiang Hua looked at her phone, quieted down, turned off the TV, and spoke to Su Wenwen.
"Okay, take your time, I'm listening," Su Wenwen replied.
"I was about to leave that day when I was tied up. I wanted to shout, but something covered my mouth, and then I felt weak and fainted."
"When I woke up, I was on a big bed and saw that beast Gu Yiming. That big scoundrel actually did that kind of thing to me." Jiang Hua said, recalling what happened that night. She couldn't help but feel angry, but a blush appeared on her face, which seemed a bit abnormal.
"I understand painting, I'm so sorry you had to go through all this. You must stay far away from that scumbag from now on," Su Wenwen patted Jiang Hua's back, comforting her.
"That beast! If I were to sue him for kidnapping and rape now, given his status, he wouldn't get away with it at all. He's really letting that beast off easy." Jiang Hua's anger hadn't subsided, and she said fiercely.

Jiang Hua was afraid that her best friend would worry, so she obediently went to sleep. However, her mind was in turmoil and she couldn't fall asleep for a long time. When she finally did fall asleep, she even dreamed of that beast.
