"I'm not worried about what you're 'worrying' about." Jiang Hua pouted, seemingly thinking he was making a mountain out of a molehill, but thinking that Gu Yiming's behavior was out of concern for her, she felt a sweet warmth in her heart and leaned her head on Gu Yiming's shoulder.
"Okay, okay, just stop crying." Gu Yiming reached out and ruffled her hair, saying with a doting expression.
Jiang Hua ignored him and quietly watched herself in the film. She seemed lost in thought for a moment, as if she was thinking about something, and even felt a little sad.
Gu Yiming specifically chose to watch Jiang Hua's scenes, his hand slowly and firmly stroking his chin, his eyes seemingly filled with admiration. However, he sensed something strange about the person next to him, whose shoulders were shrugging.
"What's wrong?"
Jiang Hua snapped out of her daze and looked at Gu Yiming's face with some questions.
"What are you thinking about so intently?"
"...No, don't overthink it." Jiang Hua forced a smile, but Gu Yiming didn't expose her.
He wondered if she had some painful past, otherwise, given what the Jiang family had done... Some things are better left unsaid; it's better not to reopen old wounds.
"You acted very well, Huahua."
He changed the subject.
Jiang Hua blinked, seemingly surprised: "You really think I acted well?"
"How could I be lying? I just watched it, and I specifically watched your scenes. You acted very well."
Seeing that her mood had improved, Gu Yiming breathed a sigh of relief.
"Should I act more flattered?"
"Okay." Gu Yiming drawled out the last syllable and kissed Jiang Hua on the lips when she wasn't looking.
Just as Jiang Hua was about to say something, Gu Yiming smiled and said, "Don't you feel flattered right now?"
"You..." She glanced at the people around her, afraid that Gu Yiming's actions would attract attention, but fortunately no one noticed.
"Watch your image, and consider your current status."
"What is an image? Can you eat it? It's pitch black here, do you think the people around you have superhuman eyes to see this? Or are you feeling guilty?"
