Chapter 645 Rescue

The photographer pushed open the door, only to find it empty. He immediately cursed, "Damn it, I actually got tricked by that cunning woman!" He then ran outside, clearly assuming Jiang Hua had run away.

Jiang Hua quickly stepped out of the box, a wave of fear washing over her. Thank goodness she hadn't opened the door and run out; otherwise, she would have been caught and brought back. Thinking that the photographer would realize what was happening and come back soon, she grabbed a stick and hid behind the door. Although her body was trembling slightly, Jiang Hua was quite excited. She just needed to wait for the photographer to come back and whack her on the head before she could run away.

Sure enough, the photographer quickly returned. He barked, "Come out here yourself! Otherwise, I'll catch you, and you'll know you're wrong!"

Jiang Hua remained motionless and made no sound.

The photographer looked around, then walked back to where she had been hiding.

Jiang Hua stood behind him, thinking, "This is the moment." She immediately struck him hard on the head, then threw the stick at him and ran away.

After being hit on the head, the photographer immediately realized what was happening and rushed out to chase after her. Seeing that Jiang Hua was already quite far away, he sped up in pursuit. He was determined to catch this woman and give her a good beating.

Just then, Gu Yiming, who was on a business trip in another province, had just finished a meeting. Because he had a lot of things to do, he only just saw the video of Jiang Hua's press conference that his secretary had sent him. Upon watching it, he was instantly furious. Enraged, he hurriedly dealt with the matters at hand.

He asked his secretary to book the fastest flight for him so he could rush back.

On the way back, Gu Yiming watched the press conference video several more times. After seeing Jiang Hua talk about what the man had done to her, he immediately arranged for someone to investigate the matter.

He was furious. This stupid woman started causing trouble just days after he left. She doesn't know how to protect herself; she's as dumb as a pig every day.

The thought made him even angrier. That damned man dared to touch his woman! He was asking for it!

Gu Yiming rushed back after an hour, only to find that Jiang Hua hadn't returned yet. He then told people to hurry up and look for her.

Sweat beaded on her forehead, and her long, flowing hair flew wildly in disarray. Barely clothed and with bare feet, Jiang Hua ran forward with all her might.

"Do you really think I'm easy to bully?" Jiang Lan curled her lips into a sneer as she ran. Her dress fluttered, and at that moment she resembled a cunning fox, seemingly weak but actually shrewd and clever.

"Where is she!" The photographer pushed open the closed door, wanting to "see" the beauty again, but Jiang Hua was nowhere to be seen. "Damn it, that bitch got away!" With a "bang," the photographer angrily threw down what he was holding.

"I haven't even gotten my revenge yet, how can I let her get away!" The photographer thought again and became even angrier. "If this bitch gets out and tells Fei Yiming, I'm finished!" Unconsciously, a chill ran through the photographer's body.

Without saying a word, the photographer ran out of the alley, yelling, "You little bitch, just you wait!"

Hearing the footsteps behind her, Jiang Hua felt a pang of panic and quickened her pace. The alley wasn't deep, and Jiang Hua soon reached the main road.

The usually clever Jiang Hua paused for a moment, then shouted, "People on the right, move aside, I need to get through!" But instead, she turned around and stumbled into a noodle shop.

As clever as Jiang Hua was, upon hearing those words, the photographer, driven by his thirst for revenge, didn't hesitate and turned to run to the right.

"Make way, don't block my way, my daughter and I are arguing!" Pedestrians around quickly made way.

The kind-faced woman who ran the noodle shop next door saw a pretty young woman enter the shop. Her clothes were tattered, and her feet were red and swollen, bleeding. She stepped forward and asked, "Are you alright, young lady?"

Jiang Hua, panting heavily, hadn't even seen the person clearly yet. Leaning against the wall, she said anxiously, "Auntie, I was kidnapped. I barely managed to escape. I'll stay here for a little while and leave right away. If anyone asks later, can you just say no one is here?"

The older woman brought over a glass of water and gently patted Jiang Hua's back. "Don't be afraid, child. I'll have my husband take you to the police station. We definitely won't say anything." Jiang Hua listened and nodded. This warmth from a stranger brought tears to her eyes.

Jiang Hua arrived at the police station in the car driven by the elderly woman's husband.

"I want to call the police!" Jiang Hua shouted as she rushed into the police station. "Oh, isn't this Miss Jiang? What brings you to our police station? Calling the police is no laughing matter," an officer greeted her.

"I've been kidnapped, can't you tell?" Jiang Hua finally exploded. "I was kidnapped in the backyard of the coffee shop, and that person is still chasing me!" This roar stunned the police officer. "Don't worry, we'll send someone to find the suspect for you right away."

Sitting in the police car, Jiang Hua was completely at ease. "At XX Coffee Shop. I know the waiter there; I really need the videotape."

"Hello, we are police officers. There has been a kidnapping in your backyard. We are here to investigate and hope for your cooperation." The officer in the police station showed his identification.

"No problem, no problem, the security room is this way, come with me." Seeing the work badge, the young waiter dared not say no and immediately led them to the monitoring room.

After reviewing the surveillance footage from the first three hours, the police spotted the photographer within ten minutes. "Ms. Jiang, is it him?" the officer asked, pointing to the screen. "Yes, it's him."

Jiang Hua nodded. "We're going back to the police station now, and we'll find him soon." After saying that, the group headed back home.

"How could that bitch run so fast? I'm exhausted!" The photographer had crossed four streets but still couldn't find Jiang Hua, and was already panting heavily from exhaustion.

Looking at the crowd, the photographer gradually came to his senses. "Damn it, this bitch probably said that on purpose. I've fallen for her trick!" Realizing his miscalculation, the photographer, filled with regret, didn't think twice and turned to run back, shouting as he ran, "You little bitch, just you wait!"

At that moment, he looked like a madman, attracting the attention of many passersby.

At this moment, Jiang Hua and the police at the police station have already located the photographer's whereabouts.

"Miss Jiang, we'll send people to arrest him immediately." The police officer beside him began to give instructions, and the sirens of police cars rang out on the street.

The cameraman heard the sound of police cars and knew he was in trouble. He quickly ducked into a nearby alley.

"Captain, the suspect is over there!" a sharp-eyed policeman shouted, and the car pulled over to the side of the road. A group of policemen got out of the car, and pedestrians automatically made way for them.

"Stop hiding! You dared to kidnap me? Didn't you think about the consequences?" Jiang Hua stood next to the police car and shouted loudly into the alley. At this moment, she was like a rose with thorns, alluring and aloof, yet ruthless beyond compare.

"Hmph, you've got some tricks up your sleeve, managing to run off to the police station yourself. You think I'd dare kidnap you without being prepared?" The photographer sneered, stepping out of the alley and pulling a knife from his clothes.

"If you dare come any closer today, I guarantee I'll kill you all!" The photographer roared, his eyes bloodshot, like someone driven to the brink of despair.
