Mo Huanhuan, who was sitting cross-legged on the edge of her bed, excitedly said, "Jiang Hua, Jiang Hua, Jiang Hua, what are you still saying? Come here quickly! Hey, I want to know if you're too embarrassed to invite them. Don't worry, leave this to me. I guarantee I'll handle it perfectly for you."
Jiang Hua stopped her before she could finish speaking, "You're still going to say it? What if she comes up with something outrageous?" She completely trusted her daughter's abilities; she could always make something out of nothing, turn black into white, and red into green. After spending time together, anything was possible. She added irritably, "Come on, you should just go invite him yourself."
He replied quickly this time, and after Jiang Hua sent the invitation, he immediately agreed. Jiang Hua happily finished the dungeon with him, and then did the guild's tasks together. Jiang Hua and the other two always got along the best, and they quickly completed all the tasks.
Jiang Hua couldn't help but tap on his profile picture and send him a message asking, "Have you finished everything lately? You haven't been too busy, have you?"
At this moment, Gu Yiming was also sitting in front of his computer, quietly waiting for her reply: "Yeah, I'm almost done with everything. How about you guys?"
"Me? We're supposed to go home for the holidays this week, but I'm too lazy to go back, so I stayed at school," Jiang Hua told him in detail.
Suddenly, Jiang Hua felt curious. She'd been playing games with him for so long and still didn't know his name or which school he attended. She decided to take this opportunity to ask. "Are you at school right now? Which university are you at?"
Gu Yiming looked at what she sent and replied with just two words, very briefly, "S University." Gu Yiming said it frankly.
Jiang Hua then asked him, "So, is your name Gu Yiming?" Jiang Hua's call was very brief. He, sitting in front of his computer, looked at her call but didn't answer her question. Instead, he shared a funny joke with her.
Jiang Hua clearly couldn't tell that he was intentionally avoiding the question. However, you can't force someone to answer a question they don't want to answer. Just don't mutter a word under your breath. "S University's, then it must be him."
"Who? Who are you saying is from S University?"
"Just one glance," Jiang Hua said frankly.
"Oh, so he's from S University! Hurry up and ask him his name!" her roommates urged her excitedly.
Jiang Hua then rubbed her head and told them what had just happened: "Oh dear, if I could recognize him, would I need to tell you? I asked him for a long time but he wouldn't say anything. He only said that he is a student at S University. You can think about the rest."
In an instant, the room seemed to have been blown up, filled with the sounds of roommates discussing, "Hey, what department do you think he studied at S University?"
Jiang Hua simply replied to his question with three words: "I don't know!"
"Hey, don't you think? His name is special, the really special kind, which is why he doesn't want to say it out loud." This roommate's imagination ran wild.
However, Jiang Hua only answered her with three words: "I don't know!"
"Hey Jiang Hua, you two have been playing games together for so long, why don't you know anything?" Mo Huanhuan asked again.
Jiang Hua seemed to be shaking her head repeatedly like a machine, saying "I don't know, I don't know!"
Mo Huanhuan patted her shoulder with one hand, "Jiang Hua, Jiang Hua, I really don't understand if all you have in your mind is gang missions and playing games, and you don't care about anything else at all."
Jiang Hua shook her head again, "I don't know, I don't know..." Mo Huanhuan looked at her with almost exasperation, "Alright, alright, I know you don't know," and then his gaze turned to the screen where Jiang Hua had just been chatting.
"Jiang Hua, who is Gu Yiming? Do you know him?" she asked again, unable to contain her curiosity.
At this moment, Jiang Hua nodded and said, "I know a classmate from before."
Mo Huanhuan, standing to the side, guessed, "Could he also be at S University? How could you guess it's him?"
"Based on intuition."
"Oh, I never realized before, your senses are so strong." Mo Huanhuan's eyes were already slyly fixed on her.
"Were you and that person on good terms before? Otherwise, how do you know so much about your family?" Mo Huanhuan was the type to get to the bottom of things.
"Not very familiar," Jiang Hua replied.
Afterwards, some people speculated that there was no answer and gave up halfway.
And so, the weekend spent playing games passed by very quickly. Early Monday morning, the first class was math class, which was one of Jiang Hua's least favorite classes. It was tedious, incomprehensible, and full of routines.
So she wasn't paying attention in class at all. She picked up a deck of cards and played with her deskmate, but she didn't expect to have such bad luck. Holding a hand of bad cards, she didn't know how to play them. Jiang Hua looked at her bad hand with a sigh, but it didn't attract any curiosity from the card players.
This aroused the curiosity of the math teacher on the podium. The math teacher, who was wearing black-rimmed glasses, had a pair of sly eyes that seemed to scan the entire class. Finally, his gaze settled on Jiang Hua, who was playing cards, and he reminded her from the side.
"Some students should pay attention in class. Don't wait until the exam to start getting anxious. In the end, you'll go home with two zeros. Who's going to eat them? There won't be enough to go around," the teacher said in a serious tone. No one dared to laugh at such a funny remark.
