Chapter Fifty-Five Fainting

Because she didn't sleep well last night, Jiang Hua unsurprisingly didn't wake up according to her usual biological clock. Although she heard her roommate calling her, she still couldn't help but stay in bed.

"Jiang Hua, if you don't get up now, it'll be too late!"

"Five minutes, just five more minutes of sleep..."

My roommate rubbed his temples, looking at the beauty sleeping like a log on the bed, and couldn't help but think to himself, "No matter how much you sleep, you're still so beautiful. You really can do whatever you want because you're good-looking."

"Jiang Hua, you'll be punished by the instructor if you're late."

"Hmm..."

Five minutes later, her roommate finally managed to pull Jiang Hua up with great effort, and immediately started combing her hair and washing her face, which helped Jiang Hua regain some consciousness.

Opening her blurry eyes, Jiang Hua stood in front of the mirror, staring blankly at her reflection. Her cheeks were full of collagen, and her large eyes looked harmless because she had just opened them. In her right hand, she held a toothbrush.

"Jiang Hua, hurry up!"

A roommate's loud roar pulled Jiang Hua back to reality. Her eyelashes trembled slightly, and she quickly brushed her teeth, finishing in a minute. She didn't even have time to put on her coat, just threw it on. Of course, breakfast was out of the question. She ran all the way and finally arrived before the instructors called for assembly.

Putting on her coat, Jiang Hua stood in the sun with the others. Because it was early August, the sun was exceptionally strong, and many girls wished they could pour an entire bottle of sunscreen onto their faces.

His eyes were vacant as he stared ahead, lacking his usual energy and appearing somewhat tired. Even his large eyes were tinged with dark circles.

The instructor looked at the students who had automatically lined up and smiled with satisfaction, but the malice in his eyes was undisguised.

"All students, right face—all together!"

For a moment, there was only the soft sound of footsteps. Jiang Hua blinked wearily, her eyes dull and lifeless as she looked at the classmate on her right.

After we got into formation, the instructor just said, "One hour of standing at attention," and then he didn't say anything more. Although it was standing at attention, it wasn't for ten or twenty minutes, but for an hour.

All the students were inwardly groaning, and even Jiang Hua was on the verge of tears. Despite this, no one dared to speak, and instead quickly adjusted their posture to stand at attention.

Jiang Hua felt her eyelids getting heavier and heavier, and she couldn't even see her classmates in front of her anymore, only a blurry white blur. Taking advantage of the instructor's inattention, Jiang Hua shook her head slightly, trying to shake off the heaviness in her mind.

However, it was all in vain. Gradually, Jiang Hua closed her eyes, her mind became muddled, and she finally collapsed. Fortunately, the classmate in front of her caught her in time, otherwise, falling to the ground and hitting her head would not have been so lucky.

The instructor rushed over and, without saying a word, carried Jiang Hua on his back and quickly walked towards the infirmary, while also telling the students to rest for ten minutes.

The instructor placed Jiang Hua on the bed in the infirmary and said with a dark expression, "If you're not feeling well, just say so! Did you think you could just tough it out? Your health is the foundation of everything. Rest for a bit, and come back to military training when you feel better!"

After saying that, he walked out of the infirmary without listening to Jiang Hua's reply.

Jiang Hua finally came to her senses. Had she fainted? But as she thought about it, her eyelids grew heavier and heavier, and she eventually fell asleep.

Sunlight streamed through the window and fell on the girl on the bed. Her serene face looked incredibly peaceful, as if she had just released all her stress and was having a sweet dream.

"Jiang Hua! Jiang Hua!"

In a daze, Jiang Hua heard the instructor's voice, slowly opened her eyes, and found the instructor standing beside her looking at her with concern. Her heart warmed.

"Instructor, I'm sorry, I fell asleep."

"Are you feeling better now? Can we continue military training?"

Jiang Hua nodded and gave a bright smile: "Okay, that's fine, I can continue with military training."

The instructor's impression of Jiang Hua improved a little: "Then get up and walk. If you're not feeling well, just say so. Don't hold it in."

"good."

Jiang Hua went back to military training with the instructors. The morning training passed quickly. Fortunately, she rested for a while when she went to the infirmary, otherwise she might not have been able to get through the morning, since she hadn't applied sunscreen or anything before coming to the assembly.

After finishing her meal and returning to her dormitory, Jiang Hua finally breathed a sigh of relief and went straight to her bed.

etc!

She seems to have forgotten something!

Jiang Hua quickly got out of bed and sat in front of the computer. She turned on the computer and logged into the game. Looking at the numerous messages sent by Yi Gu in her private messages, Jiang Hua couldn't help but feel guilty.

Jiang Hua's slender fingers flew across the keyboard as she sent a message to Yi Gu. Yi Gu was currently online in her friend list, so she figured he would reply if she sent him a message now, assuming he wasn't angry.

[Private Chat] (Di Ruhua): Great God Yi Gu, are you there?

Jiang Hua looked at the chat window nervously, but then a message popped up every few seconds. Her originally worried face lit up with a bright smile, but the thought of standing someone up made her smile disappear.

[Private Chat] (Yi Gu): Hmm, what happened yesterday?

[Private Message] (Di Ruhua): I'm so sorry! I didn't get to log on to the computer yesterday, and the teacher on patrol at night found out. I didn't mean to stand you up...

[One look]: It's good that you're alright, I didn't have to wait long.

Seeing this message made Jiang Hua feel a little better. Fortunately, she didn't have to wait too long, otherwise she would have felt guilty.

However, Jiang Hua, sitting in front of the computer, had no idea that Gu Zheng had been waiting for her all night without closing his eyes, constantly watching the computer screen, afraid that she would come online and not see him.

The two chatted for a while longer. Jiang Hua saw that it was almost 1 p.m., so she said goodbye to Yi Gu and logged off. She had military training in the afternoon and needed to rest well at noon. Besides, she hadn't slept well last night, or she would have fainted again.

No sooner had she logged off than her phone rang. Jiang Hua took out her phone and saw that it was Yi Gu calling. She was puzzled for a moment, but then answered.

"Hello, this is Yi Gu."

A captivating male voice came through the phone, and even though Jiang Hua had heard it before, she was still charmed by Yi Gu's voice.

Is there anything I forgot to mention?

Jiang Hua originally thought it was something that happened in the game, but who knew that Yi Gu would directly invite her to his birthday party. This... isn't this just asking to meet him in person?

"We're friends, and I hope you can come to my birthday party on Saturday."

Even though Gu said that, Jiang Hua was still a little conflicted.

"Most of them are students from B University, and they are all around the same age, so there's no need to feel awkward, especially since I'm here."

Caught off guard by Yi Gu's words, Jiang Hua's face flushed red. Knowing that refusing again would ruin their relationship, she finally relented and agreed to go.

"Um, where is the location?"

"KTV, thank you for coming."
