Chapter Fifty-One Duel

After the wedding commotion was over, the gang members teased their leader for a while, making Jiang Hua blush even through the screen before they finally stopped.

Gangs

How can you keep teasing me like this?

"What's wrong? Is our leader shy?"

"Really? This isn't the gang leader I know."

"But we're the only ones who can tease him."

...

However, despite the teasing, everyone was still very protective of their own. After all, only they could tease their own gang leader, and it was not up to others to criticize him. Therefore, everyone immediately told Yi Gu about Jiang Hua being ridiculed by An Li.

[Gang] [Gu Qiong]: That An Li has always been bossy towards the gang leader. I don't know who gave her the courage. Is it Liang Jingru? It's really funny that she dares to say that.

[Gang] [Silent Reading]: Don't say that, it's an insult to my childhood idol, Fish Leong...

[Gang] [First Dream of Spring and Summer]: Yi Gu, you'd better get revenge for our gang leader! We're really not happy about this!

Chu Meng Chunxia's words made Jiang Hua, watching from outside the screen, feel her heart race. What were these people talking about? How did it all get involved with Yi Gu?

Just when everyone was speaking out for Jiang Hua, it was time for Yi Gu to show up.

[Gang] [Yi Gu]: Okay, I understand. I have some things to do, so I'll log off first. Don't get too emotional.

After leaving this message, Jiang Hua saw the notification voice message that Yi Gu had gone offline. Fifteen seconds later, all she could see was Yi Gu's avatar turning gray.

Jiang Hua was somewhat surprised by Yi Gu's reaction. Instead of the righteous indignation and comfort she had expected, she only saw Yi Gu's dejected profile picture. Thinking about this, Jiang Hua couldn't help but feel a little disappointed.

"Why is this guy reacting like this when he doesn't even say a few words in my defense?" Jiang Hua muttered to herself.

However, Jiang Hua then thought that perhaps Yi Gu was really busy with something and that's why he went offline without saying goodbye. Thinking this, she felt much more at ease.

"Alright, what's with all this 'random' thinking? Maybe they really are busy. Everyone's life is different." Jiang Hua comforted herself.

When the gang members saw Yi Gu's comment, they were all a little confused, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward. However, the gang's lively members quickly changed the subject with a new topic, and no one mentioned it again.

Jiang Hua thought the matter would gradually fade away. She had never taken An Li seriously, so she naturally wouldn't care how much An Li would cause trouble on a daily basis. However, she never expected that instead of her taking the initiative to cause trouble, someone else would take the initiative to cause trouble in front of her.

Somehow, news of Yi Gu's inaction regarding An Li's actions reached An Li's ears, and she thought that perhaps this was Yi Gu's unseen hint to her.

Although there were rumors about Yi Gu's attitude towards Di Ruhua, those were just rumors. An Li always believed that as long as she had the determination and perseverance, she could definitely make Yi Gu look at her in a new light.

So from then on, An Li became even more arrogant, and her attitude towards Di Ruhua became even more outrageous. She even rushed out to cause trouble when Di Ruhua was doing a dungeon quest.

The biggest boss in the Snowfield dungeon is the Yeti. At first, Di Ruhua didn't notice how An Li had gotten into the team. By the time she found out, she only had a fraction of her health left.

It was clear that no matter how skilled Jiang Hua was, she couldn't focus on grinding monsters without being distracted by others. Moreover, she was a key member of the team. Faced with An Li's third attempt to provoke the monsters by drawing their attention to her while her skills were on cooldown, Jiang Hua finally lost her patience.

Finally, when it was time to replenish health, Jiang Hua yelled into the microphone, "An Li, are you doing this on purpose?" As she spoke, she threw the mouse on the table. The other members of the team could see that An Li had ill intentions, so they didn't say anything more.

After exiting the instance, none of them had had enough fun. An Li was the first to leave the instance, and Jiang Hua never expected that she would haunt her and wait for her outside the Snowfield Secret Realm.

Before Jiang Hua could escape, An Li sent her a private message.

[Private Chat] [An Li]: What's wrong, Master? Why are you so angry today?

Finally, she sent an innocent emoji, which almost made Jiang Hua explode on the spot.

Maintaining her good manners and upbringing, Jiang Hua patiently replied to her message.

[Private Chat] [Di Ruhua]: What do you want?!

[Private Chat] [An Li]: I don't want anything, but if you're willing to give me a few sets of high-level equipment, I might consider it.

Just by looking at the screen, Jiang Hua could imagine An Li's imperious tone, which made her even angrier. She was too lazy to argue with her anymore, so she directly challenged her to a duel. In terms of fighting ability, Jiang Hua was confident that she was no less capable than An Li.

Jiang Hua was warming up, preparing to teach An Li a lesson, when to her surprise, An Li rejected her request and sent another message.

[Private Chat] [Anli]: What do you mean?

[Private Chat] [Di Ruhua]: What, are you scared?

Jiang Hua always knew how to provoke An Li, and sure enough, An Li sent her a challenge in the time it took to say a single sentence. However, before Jiang Hua could confirm, An Li sent her another private message.

[Private Chat] [An Li]: Let me level up first, and then we can have a one-on-one duel in a couple of days.

Although the two players are of different levels, their health and level will be reduced to the same level in the arena; the difference in level will only be reflected in their weapons and skill points.
