Chapter Ninety: Gods will be slain, Buddhas will stand in their way.

Jiang Hua turned around at the sound and saw Dudu sitting safely in her cage, munching on grass with her big eyes wide open, completely unaware of how anxiously her owner had been looking for her.

"Dudu!" Jiang Hua called out, immediately grabbing the cage. "Do you know how worried I was just now!"

"Sister, your rabbit is so cute!" Jiang Hua then realized that there was someone else next to her.

She looked up and glanced at him. He was wearing a beige dress, a pink headband, and long, dark blue hair that fluttered in the wind. His small, oval face had large, bright eyes, a high nose, and white teeth. He was gently biting his lip, as if he was apologizing for his mistake.

She's such a bright-eyed and beautiful girl.

Jiang Hua praised him in her heart and said softly, "Did you take my rabbit just now?"

The little girl tugged at the hem of her skirt, saying shyly, "I'm sorry, sister. I thought this rabbit was mine, so I took it. Halfway there, I noticed my rabbit had a green bell around its neck, but this one didn't. I was worried the owner would be anxious, so I brought it back. I didn't expect it to still be there..."

Jiang Hua smiled and said, "Now that the rabbit has been found, there's nothing more to worry about. It's getting late, you should go home now."

The little girl waved and went back.

Jiang Hua watched the girl's figure disappear completely from sight, then poked Dudu's rabbit head and complained, "If you hadn't been lucky this time, you would have lost your owner! You little ingrate, you actually ate it!"

Jiang Hua took a taxi back to school. As soon as she entered the dormitory, she saw Sister Chen, the dormitory manager, cleaning the dormitory. Jiang Hua thought that she had nothing better to do, so she helped Sister Chen clean the dormitory.

Sister Chen took the broom from Jiang Hua and smiled with relief: "Little Hua, thank you for your help this time. I'll treat you to dinner tomorrow."

Jiang Hua waved her hand and declined for a moment, but Sister Chen insisted on inviting her, so Jiang Hua gladly agreed.

Jiang Hua returned to her dormitory, took a shower, turned on her computer, and hurriedly went online. Sure enough, Yi Gu had been waiting for a long time.

Di Ruhua: I'm sorry I'm late.

Yi Gu: I just arrived recently, let's get ready to run some dungeons!

Di Ruhua: Okay, okay, I'll change all the gems to fire element.

Yi Gu: No need. With me here, are you afraid of not winning?

Gu Yiming, sitting in front of the screen, could picture the blush on Jiang Hua's face. He smiled and his long, slender fingers immediately landed on the keyboard.

Yi Gu: Follow me, target: Jiming Temple.

Jiang Hua pressed the follow button, poured herself a glass of water, took a small sip, and prepared to fight!

The final boss of the couples' dungeon is a monk with a golden knife, covered in tattoos, and wearing a human skull around his neck. Rumor has it that this monk is cruel and a womanizer, taking liberties with women and killing them to make necklaces from their skulls.

Golden Knife Monk: Oh dear, another beauty has been sent to me? (A burst of lewd laughter)

One glance: Go!

Upon hearing Gu's command, Jiang Hua immediately and nimbly typed on the keyboard, her in-game character, Di Ruhua, becoming unstoppable.

The instance ended shortly afterward.

After checking the equipment, Jiang Hua suddenly felt drowsy and drifted off to sleep...

The next morning, Jiang Hua was woken up by a phone call. She borrowed the phone and lazily answered, only to find that it was Sister Chen on the other end, saying that she wanted to go to a particularly delicious dessert shop to eat dessert.

Jiang Hua was startled and immediately changed her clothes, washed her face, combed her hair, and dressed herself up before going out.

Sister Chen still maintains her capable white-collar style, wearing a simple white shirt paired with skinny jeans, exuding a mature and sophisticated vibe.

"Sister Chen, is that dessert shop on Hezhou Road?"

Jiang Hua looked at the surrounding shops through the car window and asked.

Sister Chen smiled and said, "Yes, that shop's hand-torn bread is delicious, with a rich milky flavor. Of course, their chocolate cake is also exceptional. You should definitely try it later."

Jiang Hua nodded obediently and continued looking out the window.

Soon, we arrived at the dessert shop.

Jiang Hua took Chen Jie's arm and entered the shop. They chose a seat by the window, ordered some desserts, and then chatted with Chen Jie.

"Sister Chen, do you have a boyfriend?"

Sister Chen seemed helpless about Jiang Hua's question, and smiled: "Establish your career first, then start a family. If you want to live a life without relying on a man after marriage, you have to be financially independent first."

Jiang Hua was clearly a complete novice when it came to relationships, and continued to ask, "If a man suddenly started pursuing you relentlessly, and you also had feelings for him, would you give up your career to be with him?"

Sister Chen remained silent for a long time before slowly saying, "That depends on how important he is to me. I won't do anything that isn't 100% guaranteed to succeed."

During the conversation, the dessert was served. Jiang Hua cut a small piece of cake and put it in her mouth. It melted in her mouth, and the rich milky aroma filled her entire oral cavity.

"Sister Chen, this cake is really delicious."

Sister Chen pushed her own portion towards her, saying, "If you like it, eat more. Anyway, I don't like sweets, so you can have this one too."

Jiang Hua didn't refuse, because after getting to know Sister Chen, she found her to be generous and capable. There was no need to put on an act when she was with someone like that.

After a satisfying meal, Jiang Hua thanked Sister Chen and went straight back to her dormitory.

Because she forgot something... she didn't say goodbye to Yi Gu last night and just went straight to sleep...

Thinking of this, she went upstairs even faster. She hurried up, turned on her computer, logged into the game, and sure enough, saw a full eighteen messages displayed in the contacts box!
