The night training is finally over, and the day should have come to a perfect end. But things often don't go as planned, and it's too early to draw that line.
After the nighttime military training ended, people left like a tide, and the playground instantly became empty.
Jiang Hua left with Yu Xin. Yu Xin kept nagging beside her, but Jiang Hua couldn't listen to a word she said.
At this moment, Jiang Hua kept replaying the scene of arguing with Zhao Nian in her mind. She really couldn't understand why Zhao Nian was picking on her. She didn't know Zhao Nian and hadn't done anything wrong to her. Why was she doing this? Unable to figure it out, Jiang Hua just felt unlucky and decided that she would just avoid provoking Zhao Nian in the future.
But that's how people are; the less you provoke them, the more they think you're easy to bully, and the more unruly they become.
The distance from the playground to the dormitory was quite long. Jiang Hua and Yu Xin walked for most of the day before they arrived at the dormitory door. At this point, Jiang Hua forgot about Zhao Nian and started arguing with Yu Xin.
As the two went up the stairs, Jiang Hua saw someone she didn't want to see again: Zhao Nian!
Yu Xin also saw Zhao Nian. Unlike Jiang Hua, Yu Xin glared fiercely at Zhao Nian, but Jiang Hua pulled Yu Xin's hand, signaling her to go around and avoid provoking Zhao Nian.
Instead of taking the stairs that Jiang Hua and the other person had cleared for them, Zhao Nian insisted on walking towards Jiang Hua. Jiang Hua decided to back down again, taking a step back and avoiding Zhao Nian once more. But would Zhao Nian give up so easily?
Zhao Nian sped up and arrived next to Jiang Hua. Using her physical advantage, she managed to bump into Jiang Hua. Jiang Hua tried to dodge, but failed and was instead hit on the arm by Zhao Nian.
"Ah!" Jiang Hua cried out, clearly having been hit quite hard.
Seeing that things were not going well, Zhao Nian prepared to leave quickly.
"What are you doing!" Yu Xin, who was standing next to her, couldn't stand it anymore. She grabbed Zhao Nian's hand and pulled her over.
Yu Xin punched Zhao Nian directly in the face. Zhao Nian was clearly not expected Yu Xin to be so ruthless, hitting him directly in the face. He was stunned by the punch and did not fight back for a moment.
But the group of sisters following Zhao Nian were not to be underestimated. They had all been brought along by Zhao Nian to boost morale, and Zhao Nian had also said that she would take responsibility if anything happened. With that in mind, they all walked towards Yu Xin and Zhao Nian.
"What are you doing! Stop right now!" shouted the red-haired woman who was the leader of the group of sisters.
At this moment, Zhao Nian also realized what was happening, pushed Yu Xin away, and prepared to wait for her sisters to come over so they could gang up on Yu Xin.
"Huh! Aren't you supposed to be so capable and busy? Why do you need to call on others?" Seeing that the situation was turning against her, Yu Xin began to use reverse psychology on Zhao Nian.
Zhao Nian, however, was clearly not falling for her trap. "So what do you want? A one-on-one fight? You want to take on all of us by yourself? Haha!"
Seeing that he had the upper hand, he began to mock Yu Xin.
"Stop fighting, why don't we just let it go? It's not a big deal anyway," Jiang Hua said, stepping over to act as a peacemaker. But clearly, this wasn't something that could be easily resolved.
Yu Xin ignored Jiang Hua's words and looked at the hand that Zhao Nian had bumped into; the hand was already swollen.
"Jiang Hua, you're just too kind. Look at you, your hands are all injured, and you still want to back down," Yu Xin said angrily to Jiang Hua.
"Hahaha! Look at you, Jiang Hua, are you that afraid of me?" Zhao Nian laughed loudly as she listened to the two talking, as if afraid that the onlookers would not know that Jiang Hua was afraid of her.
At this moment, Yu Xin saw several people walking in the distance. As if she had been given a reassurance, she rushed forward and started fighting with Zhao Nian and the others.
Zhao Nian and the others hadn't expected Yu Xin to be so fierce, daring to attack their six people all by herself. But no matter how fierce Yu Xin was, she couldn't overcome the sheer number of people on the other side.
The four people who came from afar were there to watch the commotion because of the large crowd. When they got closer and saw that it was Yu Xin who was fighting, they rushed over to help her.
"Stop fighting!" Jiang Hua tried to break up the fight, pulling the two sides apart, but both sides were clearly caught up in the heat of the moment and wouldn't listen to reason.
Left with no other option, Jiang Hua had to leave to find her teacher. She hurriedly ran to the dormitory manager to report the incident, and the manager intervened to stop the fight.
"What happened?"
The dormitory supervisor was only responsible for stopping the fighting, but the school teachers were the ones who actually handled the situation.
When the teacher asked her questions, Jiang Hua explained the whole story. The teacher obviously couldn't just believe Jiang Hua's one-sided account, so she went to ask a few students nearby for the details and even checked the surveillance footage.
Afterwards, Zhao Nian and several others were given a major demerit and punished by being made to stand downstairs in the dormitory building.
Jiang Hua returned to the dormitory with her roommates. None of the others involved in the fight had any serious injuries, but Jiang Hua was the most seriously injured, with one of her hands swollen like a pig's trotter.
"What happened? How did you and Zhao Nian get into a conflict?" a roommate asked Jiang Hua.
Before Jiang Hua could answer, Yu Xin, who was applying ointment to Jiang Hua, began to embellish the story and describe what had happened to her companions.
"However, this Zhao Nian, I saw her the other day, she seemed quite familiar with Zhao Di, the guy you had a conflict with last time."
"Yes, I also saw Zhao Di and Zhao Nian secretly discussing something during those two days."
“I saw them that day too. Neither Zhao Di nor Zhao Nian are good people. They both have the surname Zhao.”
"I told you you and Zhao Nian definitely had a grudge! You didn't believe me, but now you do." Yu Xin looked at Jiang Hua and said.
"Sigh!" Jiang Hua could only sigh, but when she touched her hand, she cried out in pain again, which made her roommates laugh out loud.
Then, one by one, her roommates recounted Zhao Di's embarrassing deeds, and they all temporarily forgot about these unpleasant things and happily drifted off to sleep. However, while they could sleep, our heroine Jiang could not.
......
After her roommates' explanation, Jiang Hua understood why Zhao Nian was targeting her. She truly felt nothing for Mo Fan, so why wouldn't Zhao Di believe her? It seemed that to resolve this matter, she needed to have a serious talk with Mo Fan.
Jiang Hua spent the entire night suffering from hand pain, as well as an internal struggle. She spent the whole night figuring out how to tell Mo Fan. Meeting in person would inevitably lead to misunderstandings if Zhao Di saw them, while texting would leave things unclear. After a night of internal conflict, Jiang Hua decided to write Mo Fan a letter.
Jiang Hua believed that Mo Fan would give up on her after seeing the letter, but she had seriously underestimated Mo Fan's patience. However, the letter did bring her a brief period of peace. To avoid Zhao Di seeing her delivering the letter to Mo Fan, Jiang Hua had to choose a suitable time and have Yu Xin deliver it in her place.
