Chapter 700 Harsh Words

They then realized they had been tricked, but it was too late.

Following their directions, Su Wenwen found Gu Yiming's office. Ignoring any attempts to stop her, she rushed in and frowned at Gu Yiming, who was slightly taken aback. "You scumbag! Do you even know how terrible Jiang Hua's situation is? And what are you doing here, leisurely sitting in your office drinking tea? If you can't make Jiang Hua happy, then get out of here! Don't waste my Jiang Hua's precious youth!"

Gu Yiming looked at Su Wenwen, who was acting like a madwoman, and glanced at the staff behind her. The staff member met Gu Yiming's gaze for a second, then suddenly understood what he meant and stammered, "I'm sorry, Mr. Gu, we can't stop her. She's running too fast, we can't catch up."

Having received his answer, Gu Yiming shifted his gaze from the staff to Su Wenwen, saying calmly yet authoritatively, "Get out." Su Wenwen wasn't afraid of him at all; she stood still, staring directly at Gu Yiming.

Gu Yiming's gaze then fell upon the unmoving staff members, his eyes filled with coldness. "I said, get out." Only then did the staff members realize that Gu Yiming didn't mean for Su Wenwen to leave, but for them to leave. So they all bowed and hurriedly left, leaving only assistant Xu Wei standing there, quietly listening to the order.

Gu Yiming didn't let Xu Wei leave, and his gaze turned to Su Wenwen, "When did you get back?"

Gu Yiming's reaction made Su Wenwen even angrier. The anger that was already burning inside her intensified. She took a few steps forward and slammed her hands on Gu Yiming's desk, her eyes fierce. Gu Yiming glanced at her strapless dress; because of her slightly tilted body, he could vaguely see what was underneath.

Gu Yiming focused his gaze on Su Wenwen's face, then looked at the computer, moved the mouse, and said calmly, "I already have *. Please take note."

Su Wenwen was stunned for a moment before she understood what Gu Yiming meant. She stood up abruptly, her face flushed. "Gu Yiming, you pervert! If you can't give Jiang Hua happiness, then let her go! You bastard, how could Jiang Hua have fallen for you?"

Gu Yiming frowned slightly as he looked at Su Wenwen. The last sentence really annoyed him. Before he could say "What business is it of yours what my wife is?", Xu Wei interrupted him. She probably saw that Gu Yiming was frowning, so she grabbed Su Wenwen's hand and walked out, saying, "Sorry, Mr. Gu."

Su Wenwen was incredibly strong, but Xu Wei was even stronger. So no matter how hard Su Wenwen tried to break free, it was futile. She kept cursing Gu Yiming, saying he was completely unworthy. It was Xu Wei's politeness and strength that made her submit. Looking at where Xu Wei's outstretched right hand pointed, Su Wenwen stopped as soon as Xu Wei uttered the word "please."

"Bastard." Su Wenwen cursed Gu Yiming at the end, shook off Xu Wei's relaxed hand, and turned to leave.

Xu Wei nodded to Gu Yiming and then went out.

"You're such a shrew, how dare you treat President Gu like that." After closing the door, Xu Wei's eyes were full of disgust. Su Wenwen looked at Xu Wei's eyes and suddenly understood her thoughts. Watching Xu Wei leave, Su Wenwen's displeasure with Gu Yiming increased even more.

"They must be having an affair!" Su Wenwen muttered to herself. "Otherwise, why would she be so protective of Gu Yiming? Otherwise, why would Jiang Hua be angry? Otherwise, why would Jiang Hua and Gu Yiming be giving each other the cold shoulder? He really is a scumbag!"

She turned around angrily, her feet stomping so hard the floorboards made a loud "tap tap tap" sound.

Leaving Gu Yiming's company, Su Wenwen's anger not only hadn't subsided, but had intensified. Gu Yiming's attitude was one thing, but his assistant had actually cursed at her. And to make matters worse, he even called her a shrew. The more she thought about it, the angrier she became, and she quickened her pace.

Jiang Hua was filming in another city, and Su Wenwen rushed over overnight to find her. As soon as she arrived at Jiang Hua's hotel, she collapsed onto Jiang Hua's bed, intending to close her eyes and rest, but she fell asleep as soon as she lay down.

Jiang Hua looked at Su Wenwen, who had fallen asleep immediately without saying a word, not even explaining why she had come. She simply took a sip of water, lay down on the bed, and drifted off to sleep. Jiang Hua naturally knew why Su Wenwen had come, and she could understand why she was so tired. She must have been indignant about herself the whole way, which was why she hadn't slept. Jiang Hua also knew that Su Wenwen must have gone to see Gu Yiming, as it would take a whole day to get here from him, and she must have also been up all night.

Jiang Hua looked at the sleeping Su Wenwen, saying, "Gu Yiming, you bastard, if you don't want Jiang Hua, I do..." She smiled, rested her head on Su Wenwen's head, and closed her eyes as well.

With such a good best friend, Jiang Hua dreams of the happy times she and Su Wenwen spend together. When they were together, neither of them expected they would become such good friends. She would feel sad for Su Wenwen, and Su Wenwen would feel indignant for her.

It was already afternoon when the two woke up. Although Jiang Hua woke up a few times during the night, she looked at Su Wenwen, who was still fast asleep, and went back to sleep. She thought that she wouldn't have much time to think about Gu Yiming in her dreams. She underestimated the power of longing. Gu Yiming's gentleness made her unwilling to wake up, but she knew it was a dream. In her dream, she was happy, while in her sleep, she was in pain.

"Huahua, why is your belly so small?" Su Wenwen sat on the chair, supporting herself with her hands on the chair between her legs, her head slightly forward, staring intently at Jiang Hua's belly. Jiang Hua looked at her like a little child, "Because I'm only four months pregnant, otherwise it would be much bigger, and no one would be able to tell. Not just you, Wenwen."

"Four months?!" Su Wenwen's gaze shifted from Jiang Hua's belly to her face, slightly surprised. "How come it took you so long to notice? If you hadn't fainted, you would never have known. Besides, didn't you even realize your period was four months late?" Su Wenwen's wide-eyed expression was truly adorable. Jiang Hua smiled and said, "I thought something was wrong, but then I realized it wasn't a big deal, and I gradually forgot about it."

"You could forget that? You're really something!" Su Wenwen frowned slightly, looking somewhat reproachful. "Because it's so much easier when my period isn't coming, I just forgot." Jiang Hua smiled and took a sip of the warm water that Su Wenwen had specially prepared.

“It’s really comfortable,” Su Wenwen raised her head slightly, lost in her daydreams: “If I were pregnant, I wouldn’t have to count the days every month like this, and I wouldn’t have to go through all this trouble. I could relax for a whole year. That would be wonderful.”
