She admitted she wasn't seeing things; it was clearly Gu Yiming's figure. Her heart tightened, wondering why Gu Yiming would be here.
But being here meant there might be a turning point. Her eyes darted around for a long time, and she sobered up considerably.
“I know him. I’ll go say hello, you guys have fun. Have a good time.” Jiang Shiwan thought for a moment, then decided to go over to Gu Yiming’s side.
Here, desires are intense, and temptations abound. She was certain that Gu Yiming would be consumed by desire.
"Yiming, what a coincidence." Jiang Shiwan happened to pick up a glass of wine as she passed by, and with a slight smile, she swayed her hips as she went to where Gu Yiming was.
Gu Yiming found the woman's voice familiar, and after slightly turning his head, he spotted Jiang Shiwan. Although his mind was numbed by alcohol, he wasn't completely devoid of reason.
A successful, mature, and stylish man like him, even if he sits here quietly, would attract a swarm of butterflies inviting him to dance.
This is the refined elegance that comes with age. It's the quality that makes people come to him even when he's just sitting there.
But he had a bad temper, which scared away the women who flocked to him like moths to a flame.
Gu Yiming had originally intended to scare Jiang Shiwan away, but upon seeing that it was Jiang Shiwan, a complex emotion flashed in his eyes. He moved his lips but then pursed them tightly.
He wasn't particularly surprised that Jiang Shiwan came here; he wanted to know what she wanted to do.
"Want a drink?" He raised an eyebrow, noticing the drink in her hand. He smiled, then with a flourish of his long arm, he ushered her to the bar stool beside him. He then handed her his own drink.
Jiang Shiwan sensed that Gu Yiming was acting differently tonight, somewhat wary. Looking at the glass of wine, she subconsciously shook her head. "I'll just drink this one."
"Alright. This drink is too strong. It's not suitable for girls." With that, he tilted his head back and downed the drink in one gulp.
The rolling of his throat exuded an indescribable sensuality. This kind of place was indeed easy to succumb to. Jiang Shiwan felt her heart pounding; she was a little unsure of Gu Yiming's thoughts.
"Finished your drink? Should you go now?" Gu Yiming assumed she was just saying hello.
Jiang Shiwan's thoughts were pulled back, and her face turned pale. So Gu Yiming's lack of reaction earlier was just a pretext to make it easier for her to leave now. How could she leave? She had finally managed to see him. Jiang Hua was finally away; she felt she had to do something to make things easier for herself.
"Yiming, no! You've been drinking, it's not good for you to drive. Luckily, I just arrived with my friends and haven't had any alcohol yet. I can take you home." Jiang Shiwan didn't want to leave Gu Yiming so soon; she wanted to put up with it a little longer.
