"Stop, don't move, and don't spank me, it hurts!" Jiang Hua's voice, tinged with anger yet languid, suddenly rang out. He turned to look at her, thinking she had woken up, but after saying that, she turned over and continued sleeping, her breathing soft and even. Gu Yiming chuckled as he watched her.
Gently tucking her in, Gu Yiming said helplessly in a low voice, "So strong-willed, and still so unruly even when drunk, silly girl." Actually, after hitting her, he regretted it now, regretting his impulsiveness and the force with which he hit her. Seeing her still crying out in pain in her sleep, his heart ached terribly.
Stubbornly extinguishing his cigarette, Gu Yiming walked to the French windows and gazed outside. It was quiet here, completely devoid of the city's restless clamor. He drew the heavy curtains, returned to bed, lay down next to Jiang Hua, reached out and embraced her. He closed his eyes, thinking that they would sleep together like this, waiting for the morning to arrive.
The next morning, heavy curtains blocked out the sunlight, leaving the bedroom quiet and dimly lit. His biological clock woke Gu Yiming from his deep sleep. He opened his eyes and saw Jiang Hua still nestled in his arms. His eyelids twitched; he must be about to wake up. He closed his eyes again and pretended to be asleep.
Unaware of what was happening, Jiang Hua slowly opened her dazed eyes. She felt a splitting headache, and any movement caused pain all over her body, as if she had been run over. Turning her head to look at the person holding her, she froze for a moment, then struggled to sit up. Soon, she let out a pig-like scream, "Ah, my butt hurts so much!" She quickly rolled over onto her stomach to relieve the pain in her buttocks.
Lying there, she noticed something: her body, wrapped in the blanket, was naked. She seemed to understand what had happened. Her body's sensitive reactions, the mess on the bed, and the clothes Gu Yiming had carelessly tossed on the floor—all these signs indicated that they had a passionate encounter last night, and it looked incredibly intense. Otherwise, why would he be so aching?
She looked at the culprit in front of her, feeling angry. Although she didn't remember what happened yesterday, the fact was that her bottom had been spanked. So she pushed Gu Yiming hard to wake him up. Seeing that he couldn't keep up the act any longer, he had no choice but to pretend to have just woken up, yawning as he opened his eyes.
"I'm asking you, did you spank me yesterday? Why does my butt hurt so much? It must be swollen. How could you be so perverted? I'm not a child anymore, how could you spank me?" Jiang Hua questioned angrily.
Without any sign of panic at being caught, Gu Yiming feigned innocence and said, "I didn't spank you. How could I do such a thing?" His tone was very serious, not like he was lying.
Jiang Hua was puzzled and frowned, pressing, "But there's no one else here except you. Did I hit it myself? Tell me the truth, was it really you?"
Gu Yiming wanted to laugh, but he didn't dare to. He was holding it in so hard he was almost internally injured. He continued to lie, "It really wasn't me. Have you forgotten what happened yesterday? You got drunk alone at the bar and then got into danger. Luckily, I showed up in time, otherwise I don't know if you would have made it back."
Startled by his serious expression, she remembered going to the bar with Su Wenwen and being the only one left drinking, but everything after that was a blank. She vaguely remembered being taken home, and the more she thought about it, the more confused she became. She stammered, "It really wasn't you?"
Nodding slightly, Gu Yiming said in a serious tone, "When I arrived, you were pushed and fell to the ground, complaining that your butt hurt."
Completely unprepared, Jiang Hua realized it was all just an excuse from Gu Yiming, a way of making excuses. Believing him, she assumed it was a consequence of being drunk and stopped pursuing the matter. She looked at Gu Yiming pitifully and said, "But my butt hurts so much, should I go to the hospital?"
Upon hearing that she wanted to go to the hospital, Gu Yiming's face turned ashen as he said, "Do you want others to see your butt? You're not allowed to go. I'll go to the pharmacy later and buy some anti-inflammatory medicine to apply for you."
Actually, she was just saying it casually. She felt too embarrassed to actually go to the hospital, and the thought of him applying the "medicine" made her blush. She said awkwardly, "Thank you for your help, but the important thing now is that I want to wash up, but it hurts as soon as I move." She helplessly pointed to her buttocks.

He arrived at the company and was getting ready to leave for the filming location. His assistant was also packing the necessary items. Just then, his phone rang. He took it out of his pocket and saw it was a call from home. He told Jiang Hua and went outside to answer the phone.
A moment later, the assistant came in from outside with a long face and said sadly, "I may need to ask you for a few days off. Something happened at home and I have to go back."
Judging from his expression, it was quite serious. Jiang Hua asked with concern, "What happened? Why are you in such a hurry? Do you need to go back right away?"
"My grandma is dead. She was acting strangely last night and had to be rushed to the hospital. My family didn't dare tell me because they didn't want me to worry, but she just suddenly passed away." The assistant was almost in tears.
