Chapter 13 That Delicate Flower (13)

She actually fell asleep.

She thought for a moment, then picked the person up.

Gu Si shifted uncomfortably, frowning, her expression pained, as if she were having a nightmare.

Logically speaking, Xu Yangnuan shouldn't be that strong, but influenced by Song Qi's consciousness, it's normal for her to do things that seem impossible.

On the way to the teacher's office, carrying Gu Si startled countless people who happened to glance out the window.

"What's going on?" The teacher in the office was startled.

"She cried herself to sleep and fell asleep. Can she sleep here for a while, teacher?"

“Sure,” a teacher said, offering up his own recliner, and sighed, “After seeing that scene, I don’t know how long it will take to recover.”

Song Qi didn't say anything, but simply helped Gu Si cover herself with the blanket and stood by her side for a while with a frown.

"Teacher, I'm going back to class to do my homework."

"good."

Song Qi left the office, gently closed the door, and called out, "System."

"Um?"

"Could we blur her memory?" Song Qi frowned.

The system was silent for a moment: "That might not work."

Song Qi scoffed: "You're afraid that if I say a few harsh words to Qin Xiao, it might cause him to have an emotional breakdown, but now that someone has actually had an emotional breakdown, you don't care at all?"

"Host, it's just a string of data," the system said.

A hint of coldness appeared in Song Qi's eyes.

This system has serious problems.

She returned to the classroom with a gloomy expression and glanced at Qin Xiao.

Qin Xiao was doing his homework, his brows furrowed and his expression somewhat distorted.

Seeing Song Qi return, he sat up straighter and leaned closer: "Is she alright?"

"Not good." Song Qi picked up his pen and glanced at Qin Xiao's paper. "Is this all you've written?"

Qin Xiao's face stiffened, and he covered the exam paper.

"If there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me," Song Qi said calmly.

"No need, thank you." Qin Xiao twirled his pen. "I can manage on my own."

Song Qi didn't say anything more. She didn't have time to care about him right now. She was doing her homework very quickly, and Qin Xiao could hear the sound of flipping through the test papers next to him, which made him feel a little irritated.

This question is so difficult!

When get out of class ended, Gu Si was not in the office; she had already been picked up by her parents.

She packed her things and went back to her dorm. She took her phone out from under her pillow and sent a message to Gu Si.

[Xu Yangnuan: How are you now?]

[Gu Si: I'm scared. I can see that scene every time I close my eyes... I don't even know how I fell asleep just now.]

[Xu Yangnuan: Go see a doctor properly.]

Gu Si: Mm.

Song Qi wondered if she should say something more, but she really wasn't very good at giving psychological counseling.

When she first saw those disgusting scenes, she felt terrible and vomited many times that night. But after seeing them many times, she got used to it.

Song Qi held his phone tightly.

[Xu Yangnuan: If you can't sleep, you can memorize English.]

Gu Si: Okay, I'll try. You go to sleep.

[Xu Yangnuan: Okay, goodnight.]

Gu Si rested at home for three days. When she returned to school, she looked much thinner and even more pitiful.

Song Qi handed Gu Si a bottle of Want Want milk: "Are you going back tonight?"

Gu Si shook her head: "I'm not going back. It would be even more painful to go back. I'd be all alone in the room, and my parents wouldn't be able to be with me all the time."

Song Qi nodded: "If you're scared tonight, you can come find me."

"Okay." Gu Si smiled at Song Qi and pulled the tab on the milk.

Song Qi raised her hand and pinched Gu Si's face. This time, Gu Si behaved herself and let her pinch her face.

After a while, Song Qi released his hand and looked at the red finger marks on Gu Si's face.

She clearly didn't use any force, so how can a young girl's face be so delicate?

Qin Xiao came out of the tea room and was stunned when he saw the two people. He then met Song Qi's gaze.

He paused, and the atmosphere became somewhat awkward.

Qin Xiao coughed twice, glanced at Gu Si, and surprisingly didn't show any disgust on his face: "Are you alright?"

Gu Si was stunned for a moment, and tears instantly streamed down her face.

"Brother Qin Xiao..."

Qin Xiao took two steps back, a constipated expression on his face: I must have been out of my mind to talk to her.

He glanced at Song Qi, then turned and ran away quickly.

Song Qi: What exactly is this thing?

She glanced at Gu Si. Fortunately, this girl had the potential to be a villainous supporting character. Her tears had stopped falling, but she was still sobbing a little.

Song Qi suddenly felt a little annoyed, took out a napkin and wiped Gu Si's face haphazardly. Looking at her confused face, he stuffed the napkin into her hand.

"Wipe it yourself, I'm going back."

"Okay." Gu Si nodded and glanced at Song Qi.

She keenly sensed that Song Qi was somewhat unhappy. Looking at her back, she suddenly understood and nodded knowingly.

Because of that girl's situation, the school expedited the organization of lectures, which took place in the afternoon.

This is still part of a lecture series, and there will be many more lectures to come, probably every month.

The girl's parents come to the school gate every day and make a scene, turning the area into a chaotic mess.

When passing by the school gate, Song Qi could still see traces of burning paper money outside.

I heard that they demanded two million in so-called compensation in order to seek justice.

She didn't quite understand.

Why would someone have the mind to think about compensation after such a tragedy?

Song Qi didn't want to delve into the details; she didn't have time to think about these things.

Walking in the line heading to the auditorium, Song Qi looked at the people around him.

Some walked together, chatting and laughing, while others wore a numb expression of having "seen through life and death."

The faces she saw when she went on a mission to the desolate planet were somewhat similar to those of others.

Song Qi watched Gu Si walking with a group of people in the distance, surrounded by many, like a little princess. She was saying something, and occasionally a slight smile appeared on her face.

Since she came here, she has become quite distant from the people in her class.

It's a bit ironic that the person I'm closest to is actually Qin Xiao.

"Class monitor."

"Hmm?" Song Qi glanced at Qin Xiao, who had suddenly appeared beside him.

"Do you have time after evening self-study?" Qin Xiao's face still showed some embarrassment.

"So, what do you want?" Song Qi asked expressionlessly.
