Chapter 2 That Delicate Flower (2)

This was the first time Qin Xiao had ever been so directly rebuffed. If it were a boy, he could use some special methods, but facing a girl, he was speechless.

I have a feeling that things shouldn't be going this way.

After Song Qi finished speaking, he went about his own business, completely ignoring Qin Xiao.

The system has now issued a new task: Please proactively inquire about Qin Xiao's learning progress and provide assistance. Failure to complete this task will extend the task time.

If Song Qi cannot take the initiative, then the only option is to forcibly issue the task.

Song Qi frowned. She hated being threatened; it was an unpleasant feeling. She glanced at Qin Xiao, who had fallen asleep again beside her, then looked up at the math teacher on the podium who kept glancing at Qin Xiao. She then kicked Qin Xiao's leg.

Qin Xiao woke up instantly, his eyes filled with a hint of anger at being woken up. He stared at Song Qi and asked, "What are you doing?"

"Pay attention in class," Song Qi said in a low voice, glancing at him. "Respect your teacher."

"Didn't you say you weren't going to leave me? Class monitor?" Qin Xiao forced a smile, but at least he managed to sit up.

The math teacher finally stopped glancing this way.

Song Qi noticed that Qin Xiao was acting strangely; ever since he woke him up, the man had been staring at him.

His gaze was intense.

Song Qi really wanted to gouge his eyes out.

However, she didn't feel uncomfortable at all; her status made her the center of attention wherever she went.

Qin Xiao kept staring at Song Qi until the end of get out of class.

Song Qi felt that this person was also a talented individual.

"If there's anything you don't understand, you can ask me." Song Qi turned her head to look at Qin Xiao and said what the system required her to say.

Qin Xiao raised an eyebrow: "I don't think I'm good at anything."

“Then I suggest you drop out of school and go to junior high,” Song Qi said.

Qin Xiao: ...

At lunchtime, the younger sister who had unilaterally made an appointment with Qin Xiao stood excitedly at the door waiting for him. As soon as she saw Qin Xiao come out, she went to greet him.

“Brother Qin Xiao.” Gu Si looked at Qin Xiao, her eyes seemingly shining.

Qin Xiao glanced at Gu Si, completely ignoring her, looked around, and noticed that Song Qi had already turned the corner, so he immediately followed.

Gu Si frowned and called out to Qin Xiao's back several times, but no one paid any attention to her.

She stomped her feet twice and immediately followed.

Although Qin Xiao followed Song Qi the whole way, it was easy for the other party to shake him off. When he lost track of him, it felt like he was gone in the blink of an eye.

Their school's cafeteria has three floors and is very large, so finding someone there isn't an easy task.

Song Qi went up to the second floor, bought some food, and went to a corner.

“Host, I think you should interact more with your classmates.”

"I don't want to." Song Qi looked at the food on the plate, frowned, somewhat dissatisfied, but didn't say anything.

Just as she was finishing her meal, a girl bumped into her.

Song Qi reacted quickly. She grabbed the girl's arm with her right hand and pulled it gently, while her left hand directly flipped over the plate full of food.

With a loud crash, the food spilled all over the floor.

Everything happened in the blink of an eye.

Gu Si sat on Song Qi's lap, her mind still a little muddled. She glanced at Song Qi, who was so close to her, and looked somewhat bewildered.

"The soup spilled on your pants." Song Qi looked into Gu Si's eyes, his hand still on her waist.

The little girl has a weight that matches her height; she's not heavy at all.

"Ah, I..." Gu Si immediately moved Song Qi's hand away and tried to stand up, but her foot slipped and she almost fell. Song Qi pulled her back onto his lap.

Song Qi looked at Gu Si with a half-smile.

Gu Si swallowed hard; that expression gave her goosebumps. For some reason, she felt a little uneasy.

"Be careful." Song Qi pulled Gu Si's hand. "Get up."

"Huh?" Gu Si was taken aback for a moment. "Oh."

Song Qi pulled Gu Si out of the disaster area: "Shall we go back to the dorm to change?"

"Change." Gu Si nodded, but after answering, she felt something was off. She looked up at Song Qi and asked, "You're not coming with me, are you?"

“I need to change too.” Song Qi pointed to his coat, which had some oil stains on it.

Gu Si: ...

They clearly came here to embarrass the female lead, so why did it end up like this?

She glanced at her hand, which was still being held by Song Qi, and silently pulled it away.

Song Qi glanced at Gu Si but didn't say anything.

This little girl doesn't seem very bright.

The two returned to their dormitories, which were very close to each other.

Song Qi casually tossed his coat into the dormitory, took out another one, put it on, and went to Gu Si's dormitory.

He raised his hand as if to knock on the door, but then put it down again.

She stood against the wall, expressionless.

"Host, what do you want to do?" The system had a bad feeling.

Song Qi looked down and rubbed his thumb. There used to be a ring there, and now that it's gone, he feels a little strange. "I don't want to do anything, just have some fun."

"Host, don't do anything reckless."

"She seems to really dislike me, but she's not very smart either." Song Qi smiled, a hint of mischief creeping into the curve of his lips. "That makes her look kind of cute."

The system almost blurted out, "Is there something wrong with you?" but thankfully it swallowed the question in the end.

Gu Si changed her clothes and opened the door, startled to see Song Qi: "You...you haven't left yet?"

"I was waiting for you." Song Qi said matter-of-factly. "Since we came together, shouldn't we leave together?"

Gu Si frowned as she looked at Song Qi, seemingly deep in thought, but quickly smiled at him and said, "Okay, let's go."

After saying that, she took Song Qi's arm and asked, "Can we be friends?"

"Hmm." Song Qi looked at the fair and delicate hand on her arm, then glanced at Gu Si's profile.

"May I call you Yang Nuan?"

"Can."

"Could you help me get Qin Xiao's contact information?" Gu Si looked at Song Qi with pleading eyes, blinking. "I used to play with Qin Xiao a lot when we were little, but we haven't seen each other for a long time, so he doesn't remember me. I'm really sad, Yang Nuan, can you help me?"

"good."

Gu Si was stunned for a moment. She had prepared a lot of lines, but they all got stuck in her throat.
