Chapter 88 She Hides a Knife in Her Whisper (6)

After making arrangements for everyone, Song Qi held another meeting and went over the newly established rules again.

As the number of people increased, Song Qi could clearly sense that some people had become restless. Many of the newcomers had opinions about her, but they dared not speak out directly because of her strength.

Song Qi didn't care. There are people like this everywhere, and it's normal for them to be unconvinced.

She did the same thing as the first time, making those who were unwilling to work come out on their own and cutting off their supplies.

However, there are still many more people than before.

Song Qi prepared to go out and find a few vehicles to transport supplies. She took about twenty people with her, while the rest stayed behind to do various exercises.

They were quite lucky; when they arrived at the cafeteria entrance, they saw the van that usually transported ingredients.

"Let's go check out the cafeteria?" Bai Yanxi pointed to the cafeteria.

They had been passing by the cafeteria the whole time.

Because you could hear the howling of zombies inside just by standing at the door. The glass door was stained with blood and had a lock on it that was locked from the inside.

"Do you think there are still any living people inside?" one of the few boys asked.

Song Qi didn't speak, but turned his head to look at Xu Qian.

Xu Qian closed her eyes, and after a while, fine beads of sweat appeared on her forehead. After a long pause, she opened her eyes: "It's gone..."

Everyone fell silent.

"About how many zombies are inside?"

"Many... hundreds."

Song Qi rubbed his temples. The zombie outbreak happened at noon, which was a peak time for people.

She didn't quite understand who had locked the door.

"They're mostly on the first and second floor lobbies," Xu Qian continued.

"If only I had spatial abilities." Song Qi sighed.

I don't know why, but of the people rescued later, only three had special abilities: one water-based, one healing, and one fire-based.

That's not bad.

Song Qi stared at the cafeteria. There must be plenty of ingredients there, but the hundreds of zombies blocking the way were a bit of a nuisance.

"Should I go and call the other ability users over?" Bai Yanxi asked.

Song Qi rubbed his wrist and nodded: "Mm."

She stared at the cafeteria, a bad feeling creeping over her.

Bai Yanxi returned very quickly.

Just as Song Qi was about to make arrangements, he noticed a dark figure rushing out of the glass window.

She squinted and saw that it was a zombie. She raised her hand to release her electric shock, but a wall of earth suddenly rose up in front of the zombie, blocking Song Qi's attack.

Song Qi was somewhat surprised, and the people around him were even more shocked.

She raised her hand. She had previously thought it was just an ordinary zombie and had held back a lot to conserve energy, but this time she was going all out.

The zombie exploded instantly, and the explosion looked somewhat different from that of a normal zombie.

"Can zombies... also have superpowers?" a girl asked, her voice trembling slightly.

"Not all zombies have superpowers, don't worry," Song Qi reassured her. She stared at the cafeteria, walked to the door, and shone her flashlight inside.

The zombies didn't react much to the light. They stood inside, swaying slowly, occasionally letting out a roar.

Song Qi knocked on the door, and the zombies that were nearby turned around and rushed towards the door. Song Qi blew up a few of them through the crack in the door.

She wanted to know if any other zombies had lost their powers, but with such a commotion, only ordinary zombies were crashing into her.

"We can figure out a way to get directly into the kitchen," Song Qi said.

The main gate must not be opened; it would be a real problem if some particularly fast zombie managed to escape.

The cafeteria was surrounded by windows, so they decided to go directly into the cafeteria's kitchen.

The kitchen window was greasy, and Song Qi didn't want to touch it and wanted to just blow it up, but the person behind her stepped forward and opened the window first.

"Don't explode so easily," Bai Yanxi said, glancing at Song Qi. "You're so irritable."

Song Qi was silent for three seconds: "Waaah, you're being mean to me."

The person behind: ...

System NZ: Unbearable to look at.

Bai Yanxi shuddered twice, glanced at Song Qi, and subconsciously glared at her. Noticing that Song Qi was about to start whimpering again, he immediately said, "How are you going to get up there?"

Song Qi glanced at the window in front of him; it was indeed much taller than him, and climbing up would be quite difficult.

She glanced at Bai Yanxi, who was more than ten centimeters taller than her, and narrowed her eyes.

Bai Yanxi was very excited; she was ready to carry Song Qi upstairs.

The people behind Song Qi also had piercing eyes, and some had already started to laugh.

Because most of the people present were taller than Song Qi, and by quite a bit, even that rare boy was over 1.8 meters tall.

"This area is too dirty."

"Hmm?" Bai Yanxi smiled. "I..."

Before she could finish speaking, she saw Song Qi raise his hand, and something appeared in his hand. She watched as the thing was placed on the top edge of the window, and Song Qi flew up and swung into the window.

Bai Yanxi was somewhat disappointed.

As soon as Song Qi landed, he saw the kind-looking middle-aged woman from the cafeteria now lunging at him with a ferocious expression. Song Qi picked up the kitchen knife beside him and swung it hard, slicing off half of the woman's head.

The advantage of a kitchen is that there are many knives. When they came in, Song Qi put all the knives away and put them in a big bag.

"It's too slow," Song Qi said with great disdain.

Bai Yanxi snorted, wiped his hands, glanced at the mess on the ground, and immediately looked away.

"The vegetables are all rotten." Qu Nannan glanced at the cabbages piled on the ground. "But we should be able to take the rice with us."

"There's a cold storage room here."

"The power's all gone, and it won't be much better inside than outside. Let's pick through the food and get everything edible."

After all, more than half a month has passed, and the sun hasn't come out during this time. Although I still managed to find a lot of edible food, it still hurts to see it being wasted.

"I haven't eaten meat for days," a girl sighed.

"As long as we don't starve to death," another girl said.

Song Qi left the kitchen and glanced at the food serving area. A stench hit her, and maggots were growing on the food. It was disgusting to an extreme degree. Her appearance made many zombies restless. She glanced around, then went back inside and closed the door.

"How do we get the stuff over there? Through the window?" Chen Xi asked.

“You control the soil and lift this whole section up, then lift some of the outside as well, like an elevator,” Song Qi said casually. “A few people go out first and wait outside to provide support.”

"Chen Xi, you take four people back with you. The rest of you come with me to find a car and go to the pharmacy again." Song Qi had been to the school hospital once before, but all the medicines there had been sold out. Now they could only try to find a place a little further away.

As he left, Song Qi glanced at the building filled with zombies again, feeling uneasy about leaving them there.

"What's wrong?" Bai Yanxi noticed the worry in Song Qi's eyes.

"If possible, it would be better to clear out the zombies here as soon as possible," Song Qi said, as he removed the lock from a bicycle.

The others followed Song Qi's example.

Their school is very large; it takes about twenty minutes to cycle out of the school gate, and that's the closest gate to them. If they could take over the entire campus, life would be much easier.

As Song Qi passed by the library, she noticed someone watching her. She looked up and saw a person standing on the top floor of the library, looking down.

Song Qi narrowed her eyes. It had been more than twenty days, and she had finally seen the male lead, but she hadn't expected it to be under these circumstances.

Out of politeness, Song Qi waved to the other person.

"What's wrong?" the person next to him asked, somewhat puzzled.

“There are people in the library, probably quite a few,” Song Qi said.

The others quickly realized: "Other students gathered here?"

"It should be." Song Qi looked at the group of zombies that appeared in front of him.

Bai Yanxi's vines sprouted from the ground and pierced their heads.

Everyone else uses their powers sparingly, only targeting the head, but Song Qi always leaves no trace of his opponent.

They were quite lucky; as soon as they left the school gate, they found three seven-seater SUVs. Song Qi forcibly opened the doors and then forcibly started the cars using his supernatural abilities.

The tank is still full of oil.

Bai Yanxi thought for a moment, then sat in the passenger seat. Looking at Song Qi reminded him of riding in her car in the previous world.

The hearse drifted.

"You can drive?" The boy behind was about to drive when he saw Song Qi get into the driver's seat and not get out. He was a little surprised.

"Why not?"

The boy continued in surprise: "You didn't know how to do it at the last party."

Song Qi was silent for a few seconds, then asked, "Have we known each other before?"

Boys who cannot have names: ? ? ?

An eerie silence fell over the car. The boy stared wide-eyed, opened his mouth, and said, "We're still high school classmates."

Song Qi: ...

"Feel sorry."

The atmosphere became even more awkward.

Song Qi noted down several supermarkets and convenience stores in the vicinity. The road conditions were very poor. Bai Yanxi kept using vines to remove the roadblocks in front of her. In order to allow the people around her to drive slower, she deliberately slowed down the speed of clearing the roadblocks.

Song Qi glanced at Bai Yanxi, frowned, and said, "Let me do it. You're too slow."

"Huh?" Before Bai Yanxi could react, he saw several cars explode in front of him. Song Qi had deliberately controlled the explosion so that it did not affect them. However, seeing this scene up close, the group of people still subconsciously straightened up.

The people sitting in the car didn't know what to say.

The two cars following behind Song Qi, though unaware of what had happened ahead, knew it must have been something extraordinary.

Song Qi stepped on the gas and sped along. In front of the pharmacy, he drifted and came to a steady stop in the parking space.

The people sitting in her car were all pale-faced.

"What's wrong?" Song Qi glanced at the group of people.

"It's nothing, you're just too awesome," a girl said.

The two cars behind also caught up, and there were quite a few zombies wandering the streets.

While some people stayed outside to wipe out the zombies, Song Qi led his men into the pharmacy.

The pharmacy was wide open, and although many medicines were missing, some were still left behind. Song Qi simply took all the medicines with him.

They emptied half the pharmacies in the university town, and when they returned, their car was packed full, so they had to take two more cars.

This time, Bai Yanxi took the initiative to go to another car.

I can't stand it, no matter how much I love you, I can't stand it.
