Chapter 45 Can I Lick It?
"Not tired."
Her hair was smooth and soft. Xu Jiqing felt itchy and uncomfortable, his Adam's apple rolled slightly, and he sat there without moving.
He has never coaxed anyone before, and he doesn't understand what coaxing means.
No matter how hard Xu Jiaojiao cried, he just reasoned with her expressionless face, but Su Xia and Xu Jiaojiao were different.
Even if Su Xia didn't ask him for it, he would give her everything.
Because she loved beauty and didn't want to be involved in dirty water, he would arrive at school early and pick up the fallen leaves on the table tennis court; because she wanted to get high scores in the exam, he would sit next to her and let her copy the answers.
But these people don't like it.
She said she wanted to eat watermelon today.
I just walked a few more steps and carried it back. It’s not something valuable. Does she like it?
"Is the watermelon sweet?" Xu Jiqing asked.
Ever since he came back, Su Xia only wanted to get him to eat, so she had no time to eat melons. But she couldn't be like those ungrateful boys in the room and disappoint the hero.
She stepped back, her dimples looking sweet and lovely.
“So sweet!”
It was dark, and Su Xia didn't feel guilty about making up a lie. She tilted her head and led him to look at the piece of watermelon in the bowl. "You should eat it too. I picked the best one for you. It's a big piece of watermelon core."
She urged again, "Try it."
Xu Jiqing was silent for a moment, "I don't have hands."
It’s true, chopsticks in one hand and bowl in the other.
Only three fingers on his right hand could move, and he didn't even have the ability to move his hands.
Su Xia said tentatively, "...Then I'll feed you."
Xu Jiqing nodded.
His tone was cold, but his long black eyelashes drooped obediently, and his thin lips were slightly parted, as if he was waiting for her to feed him.
Su Xia was extremely nervous.
The two previous times were just coincidences. This was the first time she seriously fed Xu Jiqing.
The more nervous she became, the more her hands shook. She didn't know if it was because the watermelon was too crispy or she was shaking too much, but the watermelon core in Xu Jiqing's mouth broke with a snap.
Su Xia hurried to answer it.
She used a bit too much force, and the pink juice filled her fist, dripping down her snow-white wrist.
She was so embarrassed. "You, you eat here first. I'll go into the house and find a trash can to throw it away. I'll wash my hands and come back to accompany you."
There is no such thing as a trash can in the village. Only a young lady who has never been to the countryside would accept such a stubborn idea.
Xu Jiqing's mouth twitched, and he simply said, "It can still be eaten, why waste it?"
"I crushed it all."
Su Xia pursed her lips, opened her fingers to show him, then hid them back embarrassedly.
Don’t tell others to eat it.
Even if she had experienced this herself, she would never put it in her mouth again.
The feeling of having her hands sticky with sugar water was unpleasant. She wanted to go back quickly, so she stood up and walked towards the courtyard. However, just as she adjusted her clothes, Xu Jiqing stopped her.
His long legs and relatively clean knees suddenly touched her legs. His school uniform trousers, which were not completely dry, were cold and fell like raindrops.
"It's not rotten," he repeated. "It's still edible."
Seeing Su Xia staring at him blankly, as if she had no idea what was going on, Xu Jiqing raised his eyes to look at her and said, "Give me your hand."
Xu Jiqing this year was different from the later ones. His voice had a deep and cold youthful flavor, which was very bewitching.
Su Xia is almost convinced by herself.
He is useless. His body reacts faster than his brain and he listens to whatever others say.
She stretched her hand in front of him, and Xu Jiqing urged, "Come closer."
Su Xia didn't understand what he wanted to do, so she sat down awkwardly, just like before, leaning against him. The crushed watermelon in her hand was sticky, and the juice was cool and sweet, almost touching his sharply defined chin.
The night is as dark as water, with the sound of insects chirping.
Su Xia rested her hands on the stone, her heart beating wildly for some reason. "Close enough, huh?"
"Can I lick it?" Xu Jiqing asked suddenly.
His tone was as calm as ever, even polite.
It was because he was too polite that Su Xia suspected that she had misheard. Her hands froze there and she forgot to retract them. She raised her head in disbelief, "...What?"
Xu Jiqing lowered his eyes to look at her lips, without any expression, but his eyes were staring straight ahead, wet and heavy, with a faint golden hue.
He looked…almost like he was going to kiss her.
Su Xia subconsciously stepped aside, but just as she moved, she felt a hot and moist breath against her palm, followed by a rough and scorching touch.
It's Xu Jiqing's tongue.
He ate slowly but fiercely, rolling the pieces of watermelon, whether they were shaped or not, into his mouth, with the sound of juice dripping out.
It was almost like the stray dog that Su Xia had fed outside Su Xiaojuan's factory when she was a child. It had been wandering in the park for too long and was so skinny from hunger. It had never eaten anything good, so anything thrown to it seemed like a supreme delicacy.
Su Xia's face turned red, her heart was beating almost against her throat, and she didn't dare to move.
She vaguely felt that something was wrong, but she didn't think too deeply about it. It was just that the sticky and wet feeling was so embarrassing that her whole body trembled uncontrollably, and she couldn't help but push his face with her little finger.
“…Okay, okay…it’s all gone.”
But Xu Jiqing didn't listen.
As if to put into practice what he had asked before, her long black eyelashes drooped, and her soft lips and tongue were soaked in red water, almost with a demonic aura, flowing down along her tender palm.
He licked her little arm covered with sweet juice seriously and forcefully, then came back and drilled through her trembling fingers one by one, his Adam's apple clearly visible as he kept swallowing.
It wasn't the tenderness between lovers, but more like a wild dog facing some high-end food it had never seen before. It didn't chew because it didn't know how to eat it, and it wanted to swallow but didn't know where to start. There was a kind of strange and suppressed enthusiasm.
Su Xia was really scared by him this time.
The night wind made the tallow tree rustle, and a small branch fell down and hit the water jar with a thud.
Su Xia jumped off the stone like a rabbit, not even bothering to pick up her coat. She combed her hair with trembling hands, turned around and ran back.
My whole hand is cold, like the cool feeling of being wet and then blown dry. It's also a little damp, I don't know if it's sweat or...
Xu Jiqing didn't touch her with his hands just now, and he didn't even need to struggle.
Su Xia's heart was pounding, and she ran back to the gate of the courtyard. As she stepped over the wooden threshold, she heard a noisy noise in the house. She stopped and hesitated for a few seconds, then turned back.
More than ten meters away, Xu Jiqing was still sitting there.
She didn't eat and didn't move. She was still the same as when she left. Her figure was tall, thin and straight, with her cold and distant handsome face slightly raised, looking over here calmly, just like a wild dog.
Su Xia couldn't help but feel sorry for him.
But she clenched her hands for a long time and made up her mind. She was so scared that she didn't dare to go back.
She struggled to move two steps over there, "Xu Jiqing, you have to come back and wash the dishes after dinner, okay?"
