Chapter 11 Battle - Kurosawa Escapes Online

In the middle of the night, the security department of the Kurosawa Group was brightly lit, but no one spoke in the room; the atmosphere was tense.

Half an hour has passed since Emily activated her berserk mode.

“If I were a criminal, I would park my car here,” Bai Miao said, pointing to a hidden alley on the map.

“There are few people here, and it’s close to the crime scene, so it’s definitely a good place,” Furuya Rei agreed.

"There were two robbers at the scene, and a sniper at a high point."

"There's a sniper too?" Matsuda Jinpei was surprised by Furuya Rei's words.

"Yes, a bullet hit Mr. Kurosawa's arm at the time."

"How did you know?" Kenji Hagiwara pressed.

“I was there.” Rei Furuya said guiltily, bowing his head slightly.

"Huh? Aren't you people from here?" Kenji Hagiwara asked, puzzled.

Before this, both Matsuda Jinpei and Hagiwara Kenji believed that Furuya Rei and Morofushi Kagemitsu were, like Bai Miao, members of the Kurosawa Group's security department.

“No, Zero is a witness to this case, while I had contact with Mr. Kurosawa before the case occurred,” Morofushi Kagemitsu quickly explained.

"You bastard, why didn't you help him? Weren't you there?" Matsuda Jinpei's temper flared up, and he grabbed Furuya Rei's collar with his right hand, questioning him face to face.

"Matsuda!" Kenji Hagiwara wrapped his arms around Jinpei Matsuda's neck, pulling him back to create distance between him and Rei Furuya.

"I'm sorry, I lost consciousness for some reason at the time." Rei Furuya kept his head down, making it impossible to see his expression.

"But don't worry, I will definitely help you find him!"

Rei Furuya looked up and met Jinpei Matsuda's gaze, his eyes unwavering.

He didn't need to worry about any of this before; he could just go home and wait for news.

The person who was kidnapped was just one of his customers, and the two barely exchanged a few words.

But in Rei Furuya's heart, the silver-haired youth's gentle smile and his resolute departure left an indelible impression on him.

Rei Furuya is still waiting for Jin Kurosawa to treat him to dinner.

"Baka, who needs your help?" Matsuda Jinpei couldn't stand Furuya Rei and felt that they were incompatible.

"Aha!" Emily exclaimed, pulling her head out of the pile of code. "It's done!"

"How is it, Emily?" Bai Miao moved closer to Emily.

“I’ve recovered all the surveillance data,” Emily chuckled. “Not only that, I also deleted his precious folder on his computer, to show him what happens when he messes with me.”

"Fine, then move aside, I'll check the surveillance footage." Bai Miao snatched the mouse without any hesitation.

"Bai Miao, you're going to throw me away after you're done, right?" Emily's round face puffed out, and she stomped her foot to show her dissatisfaction. "Hmph, I'm not doing this anymore!"

Clutching her cola, potato chips, and cake, she stormed to the sofa in the corner, seemingly unwilling to speak to anyone for a while.

Surveillance footage shows a white car driving out of the alley.

Bai Miao zoomed in on the picture and could see that the person driving the car was a burly man, while the person sitting in the passenger seat was relatively thin.

In the back of the car, there was a blurry white thing, which should be Kurosawa Jin's silver hair.

"Take a look, are these the two people?" Bai Miao asked Jiang Gu Ling.

“Yes, I remember the clothes that burly man wore.” Furuya Rei nodded.

"Understood." Bai Miao pulled up the surveillance footage from each intersection.

Based on the information he had, he deduced and found the vehicle's trajectory extremely quickly.

A few minutes later, Bai Miao put down the mouse and went to the map. "This car was last seen on the surveillance footage in front of the convenience store at the foot of this mountain."

“If nothing unexpected happens, they’ve probably gone up the mountain.” Bai Miao pointed to a mountain a few kilometers away.

“Okay, second-year graduate student, let’s go to that mountain now.” Matsuda Jinpei turned around without the slightest hesitation.

“I’m going too!” Rei Furuya said.

"Stop! What are you four kids doing there? Are you just trying to cause trouble?" Bai Miao scolded the four who were walking away. "Leave professional matters to the professionals!"

"Why can't we go?" Matsuda Jinpei protested.

"A few little brats..." Bai Miao hadn't finished speaking when his phone rang.

"Dili li—"

Looking at the caller's name displayed on the phone, it was labeled "Old Uncle".

Upon seeing those three words, Bai Miao's temper instantly exploded, veins bulging on her delicate face. "Tanaka, you good-for-nothing! I told you to take good care of the young master, and where the hell have you been taking care of him? You…"

"Young Master, I want you to take those four people with you." Tanaka Hitomi's calm and even voice reached Bai Miao's ears, interrupting him.

Upon hearing Tanaka's words, Bai Miao had a vague feeling that everything was orchestrated by her young master.

Bai Miao glanced at the four high school students out of the corner of her eye and said unhappily, "Tsk, I know."

Then, everyone saw Bai Miao perform a Sichuan opera-style face-changing act.

“You can go,” Bai Miao said.

The four of them didn't know who had made the call. The fact that Bai Miao's skill had caused such a drastic change in attitude was ultimately a good thing.

"Emily, let's go first, you notify the police."

"Hmph, I won't do it."

I'll bring you a cake when I get back.

"make a deal!"

──

Mountain cabin.

"Hey, wake up!" A delicate female voice rang in Kurosawa Jin's ear.

"Hmm..." Kurosawa Jin's long eyelashes trembled slightly, and then his green eyes, filled with moisture, opened.

All that met his eyes was pitch black. As his eyes gradually adjusted to the darkness, Kurosawa Jin could see that he was in a wooden house.

A woman was lying on the ground, bound; it was she who had just spoken.

He was tied to a chair and unable to move. A slight, persistent pain came from the wound on his right shoulder, and he also had a dull ache in his abdomen.

"Hiss!" Kurosawa Jin gasped.

"Are you alright?" the woman asked with concern.

"Not bad. Who are you?"

"My name is Nanako Honda. I was just passing by when I was kidnapped." Nanako wanted to feel that she was very innocent.

"I heard them say that they're going to kill me in a little while and cut off my head. Waaah, I don't want to die!" As she spoke, tears streamed down her face, and she sobbed uncontrollably.

Something unexpected happened. Kurosawa Jin frowned. Where did this woman come from?

"Don't cry," Kurosawa Jin said with a hint of disgust. "I have a way to get out."

"What? What method?" Nanako looked at Kurosawa Jin in surprise, as if grasping at the last straw.

"There's a lining in the sole of my right shoe with a razor blade inside. Take it out and help me cut the rope, then I'll take you out."

As the heir to the Kurosawa Group, assassinations and kidnappings are unavoidable experiences, so it's natural that it's essential to carry something on your person.

"Hmm." She shifted her body, moving with difficulty toward Kurosawa Jin.

A moment later, a gleaming silver blade, incredibly sharp, appeared in Nanako's hand.

She first spent a while cutting her own rope, then squatted behind the chair where Kurosawa Jin was sitting and continued cutting.

In the next room, Mika's second assassin angrily slammed the mouse against the computer screen.

"Bang!"

"What kind of attitude is that! The people he wants are all in my hands, and he still dares to say I'm not in a position to negotiate with him!"

"Boss, calm down. Once we get that 50 billion, we'll kill him and see what he does then."

"No, if I kill him, Baileys will definitely retaliate. The people in that organization are all ruthless."

As the saying goes, fortune favors the bold.

After drinking several bottles of beer, Mihua's second-in-command dared to openly break his 30/70 agreement with Baileys.

"Snake One, go check if those two are awake yet."

"Yes." Snake One slowly walked towards the wooden door connecting the two rooms.

On the other side of the door, Nanako finally cut the rope.

"Squeak!" The door to the room opened.

"Bang!" Kurosawa Jin took advantage of the snake's unpreparedness and delivered a flying kick to its stomach.

"Swish—" The burly man's body flew up, smashing the beer bottles piled on the ground.

"What, Snake One!" The second assassin of Mika reacted, drew the pistol from his waist, and fired at Kurosawa Jin and Nanako who were fleeing outside.

Whether it was because of his poor marksmanship or Kurosawa Jin's speed, he missed every shot.

Is this scientific? This is so erotic, hehe, how about some human body outline?

Mika's second assassin yelled and kicked Snake One, "Idiot! Get up and chase after them!"

"Oh, okay!" Snake scrambled up in a daze, grabbed his gun, and ran out the door.

"They're over there." Mika's second assassin turned around and saw the two figures fleeing into the forest.

The forest is currently the only place where Kurosawa Jin and Nanako can escape to. It has lush trees and many shrubs, which are good for hiding.

"Bang bang bang—" A series of gunshots came from behind, one after another, relentlessly pursuing.

Kurosawa Jin pulled Nanako along, running non-stop, oblivious to the sharp branches scratching their skin.

"Splash—"

not good!

Kurosawa Jin pushed aside the bushes, and the road suddenly opened up, revealing a waterfall in front of him.

"Ah, there's no way out!" Nanako cried out in a panic.

"Hahahaha! Alright, weren't you so good at running? Why aren't you running anymore?" The second assassin of Mika said the classic villain line.

"Ha!" Kurosawa Jin pinched the blade between two fingers of his left hand and rushed towards Mika's second assassin.

"Bang bang bang!" The bullets were fired from the chamber.

Having walked through a hail of bullets, Kurosawa could easily dodge every single one.

Kurosawa Jin was getting closer and closer to Beika's second assassin, whose expression changed from disbelief to terror.

His killer instincts told him he couldn't be wrong; this person had more blood on their hands than he did.

He saw Kurosawa Jin's emotionless, cold, and icy green eyes.

In that instant, the blood of Mika's second assassin seemed to freeze. He had seen those green eyes before!

Back then, he was just a lowly henchman, and he and his assassin mentor had met members of that organization.

The leader of that organization is...

Kurosawa Jin swung his left arm, the blade close to the neck of Beika's second assassin.

"ah!"

"Stop!" Snake One, holding Nanako hostage, roared at Kurosawa Jin, "If you move again, I'll kill her."

The hand gripping the blade tightened instantly, leaving only a bloody gash on the skin of Mika's second assassin.

"Help me, help me!" Nanako cried out.

Kurosawa Jin held the blade to the neck of Beika's second assassin, threateningly saying, "Your boss is in my hands."

"Big brother, don't kill me! I didn't mean to kidnap you!" Mi Hua's second assassin's attitude changed completely. "Snake One, release her!"

"What, boss?" Snake looked as if he had seen a ghost, his face full of disbelief.

"Release her, Snake One, that's an order."

Mika's second assassin smiled obsequiously at Kurosawa Jin, "Big brother, I was blind and didn't recognize you. I didn't know which organization you belonged to..."

Kurosawa Jin: ...

"They've mistaken me for Gin from this world," Kurosawa Jin thought, suddenly finding the face rather appealing.

Gin's formidable reputation in the underworld is something he can use at any time.

What's this all about? Is it like the ancients planting trees so that future generations can enjoy their shade?

Once Nanako was put down by the snake, her body appeared exceptionally small compared to the burly man.

After the second assassin of Mikasa spoke, Nanako stopped screaming for help and became unusually calm, which was quite a contrast.

"Heh, not fun at all," Nanako muttered.

Then, a flash of silver light appeared, and a large amount of blood spurted from Snake One's neck.

"Ughhh." Snake One didn't even have time to say its last words before its eyes rolled back and it collapsed to the ground, dead.
