Matsuda Jinpei's approval rating for you +1]

"I didn't expect my approval rating to increase so quickly after being stuck for so long. I'm lucky." Kurosawa Jin smirked, then sharply turned the steering wheel and drifted around the corner.
Five years have passed in the blink of an eye. In addition to working hard to get promoted and receive a raise, Kurosawa Jin has also kept up with his other mission – to increase his reputation.
He has currently leveled Matsuda Jinpei, Hagiwara Kenji, Morofushi Kagemitsu, Furuya Rei, Kudo Shinichi, Kudo Yusaku, and Kudo Yukiko to over 90.
It also unlocked Kogoro Mouri and Ran Mouri's approval ratings and raised their ratings to 50+.
"Officer Kurosawa, we've found the car that stole the important documents," Hyakugen Ryu's voice came through the earpiece.
The mission is to find evidence of a human trafficking ring, and the document in dispute is that evidence.
"Where?"
"On Mihua Avenue, in about ten minutes they will enter Mihua Bridge."
"Okay, I'll intercept them from the other end in ten minutes," Kurosawa Jin instructed.
"Yes." Hyakugen Ryu then asked with concern, "Officer Kurosawa, how are you feeling?"
He still remembers the scene of carrying the unconscious Kurosawa Jin and racing against time to find an ambulance. His boss, the person he admired most, was once again going into battle despite his injury.
If I were a little more capable, Inspector Kurosawa wouldn't be so exhausted. Hyakugen Ryu was consumed by deep self-reproach.
"Hyakugen? Hyakugen!" Kurosawa Jin's call pulled Hyakugen Ryu from his thoughts. "Are you thinking about those random things again?"
After a year of working together, Kurosawa Jin could tell what his subordinates were thinking just by listening to their tone of voice.
Baiyuanliu is a sensitive and emotional person, but no matter what, he is still a good subordinate! A qualified boss needs to provide emotional value to his subordinates.
"It's alright, Baiyuan, you've done very well. I believe that with your abilities, you'll be able to take over my position soon," Kurosawa Jin praised.
"That won't do!"
"Why not? Do you want me to work myself to death? I need to rest too, okay? I'll leave everything to you then, I'm completely at ease..."
"Mmm." Baiyuan Liu nodded repeatedly.
"..."
"Screech—" The car tires screeched against the ground, making a sharp, piercing sound.
Kurosawa drifted and drove into the middle of the Beika Bridge. At this point, the police had already blocked one end of the Beika Bridge with roadblocks, waiting for the suspect's vehicle to arrive.
The silver-haired police officer stepped out of the car, still wearing a hospital gown, clearly having escaped from a hospital.
The wind howled across the bridge, making Kurosawa Jin's signature half-long silver hair look messy.
With his white hair, green eyes, and handsome face, even police officers who had never seen Kurosawa Jin could naturally guess his identity.
A young policeman nervously came to report to him, "Officer Kurosawa, we have cleared all the vehicles on the bridge."
"Understood." Kurosawa Jin adopted the imposing demeanor of a superior, even though he was wearing a hospital gown and slippers, he couldn't lose his aura.
Give me a gun.
"Huh?" The young police officer was stunned, unable to process what was happening for a while.
"Tsk." Kurosawa Jin didn't waste any words and walked past the policeman.
By the time the young policeman realized what was happening, the gun at his waist had vanished without a trace, while Kurosawa Jin was holding one instead.
Kurosawa Jin held the pistol in his left hand and slowly walked towards the bridge. Upon reaching his destination, he stood there straight, leaving the policemen with only his tall and upright back.
On the other side of the bridge, a sleek sports car sped past, heading towards the Mihana Bridge.
Behind it, a whole swarm of police cars with sirens blaring were chasing after it.
"Wow~ They're really relentlessly pursuing us~" Chianti hugged her beloved gun and turned to look at the police car behind her.
She casually set up her sniper rifle and fired a bullet into the window of a car. The car veered off course and crashed into a police car parked next to it.
"Hahahaha!" Chianti burst into laughter, pleased with his success.
"Colin, don't they look like a bunch of ants on a hot plate? They're so eager to catch us, but they just can't," she teased.
"Alright, Chianti, sit still, I'm going to speed up," Corin said expressionlessly.
"Ha, what's there to be afraid of with these cops? They're just a bunch of useless cops. We got the information easily." Chianti said with a look of disdain.
"But what exactly is this document?" Driven by curiosity, she turned her gaze to the file folder in front of her and quietly reached out.
Suddenly, Gin's cold voice came through the earpiece, "Chianti!"
“Do what you’re supposed to do!” he warned.
No matter what, Chianti wouldn't dare to cause trouble in front of Gin. She swallowed hard, her mouth watering.
"Hahaha, there are some things Chianti shouldn't touch. You must be tired of living." Vermouth teased through the earpiece.
"Tch." Chianti didn't dare to act presumptuously in front of Gin, but with Vermouth, she regained her previous arrogance.
She said sarcastically, "Heh, I wonder who messed up an assassination mission and got scolded by the BOSS in public."
“Oh dear, someone last time…” Vermouth retorted to Chianti with the same words, making Chianti roll her eyes in exasperation.
"Just a friendly reminder—the other side of the Mihana Bridge is swarming with police, and there seems to be a troublesome guy there too." Vermouth looked down from a high vantage point overlooking the entire Mihana Bridge.
Her gaze was fixed on a man wearing a hospital gown.
“Ha, who needs your kindness?” Chianti said nonchalantly.
In no time, the sports car drove onto the Mihua Bridge. She set up her sniper rifle, looking ahead through the scope. Coron also accelerated at full speed, hoping that the modified car could break through the police encirclement.
A figure gradually appeared on the bridge through the sniper scope, first a head, then the whole body.
"Hospital gown? Is he trying to be funny?" Chianti scoffed, but her laughter soon faded.
Kurosawa Jin raised his pistol and fired several shots at the tires of the Chianti and the Coron, hitting them every time!
"What!"
Corren was struggling to keep his footing on the steering wheel, while Chianti was trying to aim at the head of the Black Swamp formation.
Suddenly, she saw something that made her pupils dilate instantly.
"Gin? Gin!" Chianti felt like he was going crazy, seeing Gin's face in his sniper scope.
Just as she was questioning her existence, Kurosawa Jin pulled the trigger again, and a bullet shot straight into Chianti, leaving a hole in her shoulder.
"ah!"
"What's going on, Chianti?" Gin thought she had just called him.
Gin's voice and the pain of his wounds pulled Chianti back to reality.
If Gin isn't here, then who is this man who looks just like Gin?
Chianti's brainstorming session kicked in: twins? Bastards...
"Sizzle!" Koren finally lost control of the vehicle and simply started to swerve.
"Jump out of the car!" he shouted to Chianti, then grabbed his weapon and jumped.
Chianti cursed under his breath, reluctantly throwing down his sniper rifle and taking only a pistol and the important document with him.
The out-of-control vehicle flew towards Kurosawa Jin, who was forced to dodge to the side.
The car crashed diagonally through the railing of the Mihana Bridge and plunged into the river, splashing up a huge spray of water.
"Chianti, Coron, protect the data. Vodka will meet you under the bridge," Gin calmly ordered.
In a luxury Porsche near the Mihana Bridge, Gin sat in front of a monitor, pondering the face that had just flashed across the screen.
He installed a hidden camera on Coron, which is why he was able to stop Chianti from spying on the data in time.
Just now, at the moment Koren jumped out of the window, Gin happened to catch a fleeting glimpse of Kurosawa Jin. With Gin's exceptional memory and eyesight, he was absolutely certain that the other person had the exact same face as him.
It's so similar! Gin opened the car window and looked at his own face in the rearview mirror. He rested his hand on the car window and tapped it idly.
In the surveillance video, Chianti rolled on the ground before barely regaining her balance, and she had some minor abrasions on her body.
At that moment, Kurosawa fired at the two of them, and a bullet pierced Chianti's thigh.
"Baka!" Chianti was enraged and raised his hand to attack Kurosawa Jin.
Regardless of why the other person looks like Gin, just assume it's because they've been exploited by Gin for too long and are venting their anger.
With that in mind, Chianti went all out, fueled by a surge of adrenaline, and Corin responded in kind to her attacks.
A hail of bullets rained down on Kurosawa's formation.
"Heh!" Kurosawa Jin chuckled dryly. With his ability to outline human figures, dodging bullets was a piece of cake for him.
With ease and simplicity, he dodged all the bullets flying towards him.
Finally, Chianti emptied his magazine. Meanwhile, on the other side of the bridge, Hyakugen had arrived, and Chianti and Coron were completely trapped.
"Chianti, jump off the bridge." Gin acted like a savior, offering them a way out.
"What!"
Beneath the Miha Bridge, Vodka piloted a small yacht, moored beneath it. If he could find the right spot and jump off the bridge, he would surely land on the yacht.
"Chianti, quick! Bring the documents over here!" Coron had already reached the top of the yacht and climbed over the railing.
How could Kurosawa Jin let them escape? He seemed to be able to teleport, and in one flash, he appeared in front of Chianti.
He began attacking Chianti, preparing to reclaim the crucial information.
Of course, he knew that Chianti couldn't die. If she died, there would be a major plot hole, so he didn't kill her; he only needed to retrieve the data.
