Chapter 5 The So-Called Love Breakfast

Chapter 5 The So-Called Love Breakfast

The bath was large, but unsurprisingly, Gojo Satoru and Natsuyuki insisted on sticking close to Yuya.

Warm water can relieve physical fatigue, and Yuya's mind gradually relaxes, and he becomes too lazy to care about the two nerves operating simultaneously.

With his eyes closed, he allowed the steam to gradually turn him red.

The gentle sound of water flowing from the faucet filled his ears, and drowsiness crept over him without his noticing. His strength gradually dissipated, and he slowly slid down the slope.

One hand wrapped around Yuya's waist and pulled him up a little.

"Yuya, it's dangerous to sleep here. If you're sleepy, go back to your room." Xia Youjie's voice sounded slightly distorted in the steam, but with a unique gentleness.

You couldn't help but yawn.

You really shouldn't soak in the bath for too long; it would be too embarrassing to fall asleep and drown in the pool.

He stood up, wrapped a bath towel around his waist, and said politely, "Then, Wu Tiao and Xia You, I'll head back now."

To Yu's surprise, the two of them didn't insist on going with him this time.

Instead, she watched him leave.

As he closed the door, Yuya saw Gojo Satoru and Natsuyu Suke both looking at him with smiles on their faces.

One is unruly, the other is gentle.

But he sensed the same danger beneath those smiles.

The door slowly closed, and the two faces disappeared behind it.

Yuu patted his face; it was better that they didn't come. Knowing their personalities, if they had really followed, they probably would have shamelessly slept in his bed tonight.

It's still warm, hurry up and get into bed to sleep!

"Satoru, didn't you always want to stick close to Yuya? Why aren't you coming with him now?"

“Jay is the same,” Gojo Satoru said, looking down at a spot in the water. “How can he stand up like this?”

He doesn't mind, but it will scare Yuya terribly.

Xia Youjie smiled but didn't say anything.

Gojo moved a little further away, his arms outstretched and resting on the pool wall, exuding a lazy air: "Yuya's going to sleep too, he's all settled in."

He looked up at the ceiling, closed his eyes, and let [Six Eyes] continue to explore and linger in a certain room.

Xia Youjie was no less impressive.

In a corner unseen by anyone, a low-level cursed spirit was hiding under Yuya's bed.

It was assigned a task.

If the person in bed kicks off the blanket, it will cover them up again.

Although the human's spell made it feel comfortable and drowsy, it would still try its best to complete the tasks assigned by its master!

Yuya didn't sleep well that night.

He felt like he was being watched by something all night.

**

When the alarm clock rang at seven o'clock, a hand reached out from under the covers and turned it off.

Yuya yawned, sat up, and stared blankly for a while before getting out of bed. He neatly folded the blankets, then took his toiletries to wash up.

A brand new, beautiful day, never encountering anyone else in the same group...

Good morning, Yuya~ Did you sleep well last night?

Even earlier than Yuya was Gojo Satoru.

He greeted Yuya excitedly.

A beautiful day ended before it even began.

Yuya felt a weariness deep in his soul, but he stubbornly greeted, "Good morning, Gojo-kun."

Gojo Satoru complained, "It was one thing for you to call me Gojo-kun yesterday, but now that we've known each other for a day, can't we be a little more intimate? Call me Satoru."

Is a day a very long time?

Yuya didn't really want to wake him, so he tried to change the subject: "Why is Gojo-kun up so early?"

He doesn't seem like someone who wakes up early; he's more like someone who sleeps until he naturally wakes up. Even when he skips class, he leaves the room yawning leisurely.

Gojo Satoru tilted his head slightly, like a noble and elegant ragdoll cat: "Because I'm waiting for you."

But how do you know I'll definitely wake up at this time...?

After thinking it over, Yuya swallowed his doubts.

"So, can I be called enlightened?"

Yuya couldn't think of a reason to refuse.

It's impolite to call someone by their name without their permission, but it's also impolite not to call them by their name when they invite you.

I already experienced Gojo Satoru's "madness" yesterday; if I don't agree, he'll probably cause trouble again.

Yuya sighed: "Okay, Satoru."

This was his last act of defiance.

Gojo Satoru didn't seem too satisfied, but he didn't say anything more.

Yuya started brushing his teeth and washing his face. He caught a handful of water in his hands, splashed it on his face, and chased away the last bit of sleepiness.

"Wu, I'm going to the kitchenette to make some breakfast in a bit, do you need it?"

Gojo Satoru's eyes lit up.

Yuya took the initiative to invite him! She wanted to cook for him!

initiative!

"I want!"

Gojo Satoru seemed much more normal now, no longer as troublesome as before, just the simple excitement of a child getting candy. Yuya relaxed as well: "Is there anything you want to eat?"

Thinking it over carefully, he still needs to maintain good relationships with Gojo Satoru and Natsumi Yuuki.

Both of them are geniuses in the world of sorcery, and they may become important forces in the development of sorcery in the future, even becoming high-ranking officials.

Building good relationships during your student years makes it easier to ask for help later.

In Chief Mori's words, connections are resources.

—If we have a good relationship, could we ask the Gojo family's sorcerers from the Gojo clan to come to Yokohama and eliminate the cursed spirits, on a discounted basis?

Yu was amused by his own thoughts.

In Gojo Satoru's view, it was Yuya who suddenly smiled as he looked at his face.

Hmph, what are you doing? Suddenly you're staring at my handsome face and grinning like an idiot (Yuya: ?), you must be captivated by my good looks.

The lack of reaction yesterday was probably because I looked haggard from sitting in the classroom all day. Today, I got up an hour early, washed my hair, took a shower, and styled my hair. Sure enough, I captivated everyone.

Gojo Satoru's mood improved even more: "I want to eat noodles—sweet ones."

"Then let's have miso cream corn ramen," there are quite a few ingredients needed, I don't know if the small kitchen has them all, "Isn't Xia You up yet?"

Making breakfast for two people is no different from making breakfast for three people; leaving one person out makes him seem like he's excluding them.

Tsk.

Why think of Jay at this point?

Gojo Satoru lied without batting an eye: "I probably caught too much wind while taking a bath yesterday. When Jie got back, he said he had a terrible headache and needed to rest today."

Yuya exclaimed in surprise, "Is it that serious?" But there's no window in the bathroom, so where's the wind coming from? And the air conditioner isn't on either, is it?

"Should we make him something? How about porridge?"

Gojo Satoru waved his hand: "Don't worry about Jet, he's not a child anymore, he won't starve. Compared to Jet who's not here, Yuya, you should take care of me more. I'm very hungry."

Ignoring the height difference between himself and Yuya, he bent down and rested his chin on Yuya's shoulder, his warm breath brushing against Yuya's earlobe: "Take care of me more."

The 1.9-meter-tall white-haired man didn't seem awkward at all when he started acting coquettish.

Yuya awkwardly pushed Gojo Satoru away: "Satoru-kun, let's talk this out, don't do this."

"I'll go back to my room to put my things down and then come over. You can wait for me in the kitchenette first."

As he spoke, You ran off.

The hot breath still seemed to be right next to his ear, and Yuya couldn't help but pinch his ear, as if trying to pinch away the tingling sensation: "Just talk, why are you getting so close?"

Recalling the scene just now, Yuya muttered to himself, "She just does whatever she wants because she's good-looking."

When I put my things down and found the small kitchen, Gojo Satoru was already there waiting for me.

He propped his chin on his hand and stared at the doorway, motionless, his eyes, which once held the sky, now utterly lifeless.

He only "came to life" when Yuya's figure appeared in his eyes.

"Yuya, you've kept me waiting for so long—"

Yuya found the apron in the closet and tied it: "I've tried to get up as quickly as possible."

It will only take a few minutes, right?

Gojo Satoru murmured, "But I really waited a long time."

Fortunately, all the ingredients for ramen were available, and Yuya quickly cooked the noodles.

One bowl was for Wu Tiaowu, and one bowl was for myself.

"It smells so good."

At the entrance to the small kitchen, the black-haired man wasn't wearing his hair in a bun like yesterday; instead, he let it fall loosely over his shoulders. He leaned against the doorway with one hand, his gaze sweeping over the two people inside, his tone ambiguous.

"Looks like I'm late."

Yuya blinked: "Natsuyu-kun? Satoru-kun said you had a headache last night and needed to rest well today. Are you feeling better now?"

Xia Youjie smiled gently and casually: "So that's what Wu said?"

Yuya nodded.

"Thank you for your concern, Yuya. I'm much better now." Xia Youjie subtly glared at his best friend.

"It smells so good, is it ramen?"

Yuya glanced at the still-boiling water: "Natsuyu-kun, would you like some? We also have the ingredients."

"Then I'll leave it to you. I'll just do the same thing as you."

While Yuya turned around, Xia Youjie delivered a chop to Gojo Satoru.

—It hit [no bottom line].

"Wu, how come I didn't know I had a headache?"

Gojo Satoru leisurely began eating his noodles: "Now you know."

Xia Youjie put one hand on Gojo Satoru's shoulder, turned his head, and said with a smile but a murderous aura: "Satoru, let's go outside and talk."

"No, Yuya made this ramen with love for me."

Xia Youjie laughed in exasperation: "You're making it sound like I didn't do anything."

Gojo Satoru said proudly, "Jay, your ramen is the last bowl—the last. Mine is the first bowl—the first. What does this mean? It means that I am the most important in Yuya's heart, while you are the least important, Jay."

Robber logic.

Yu also placed the bowl of noodles that belonged to Xia Youjie in front of him: "Xia Youjie, since we ran out of ingredients, I cooked buckwheat noodles for you. I don't know if you're used to it."

Xia Youjie picked up his bowl of noodles, deliberately glanced at Wujiao Wu, and said very loudly, "What a coincidence! My favorite food is soba noodles. The noodles you cooked just happen to be my favorite flavor. It's a special kind of fate. It means we're on the same wavelength."

Yuya: ...Don't you want to listen to what you're saying? How can we be on the same wavelength just from eating noodles? There's only ramen and soba noodles in the cupboard!

Gojo Satoru and Natsumi Yuuki are at odds.

Satoru: "Yuya made the ramen for me especially sweet!"

Jay: "Oh, the buckwheat noodles you made for me are also my favorite."

Wu: "Mine is number one."

Jay: "Mine wasn't the first, but Yuya would rather not eat his own noodles than not cook them for me."

Gojo Satoru suddenly stood up—still holding his noodles.

"Hey Jay, let's go outside and talk."

This time it was Xia Youjie's turn to refuse: "No, I'm going to start enjoying my breakfast."

Having witnessed everything, Yuya felt a lump in his throat, unable to utter a sound: "..."

What are they arguing about?

Why can't I ever keep up with their thought processes?
