Chapter 18

"Shiori, please call me brother again~" Gojo Satoru said as he came closer.
"Please allow me to refuse." Tadano Shiori instinctively shrank back, her mind a tangled mess of cotton thread. In the blink of an eye, she had teleported from the cold, damp abandoned factory to a hot spring hotel at the foot of Mount Fuji. Before she could even catch her breath, she was shoved back onto the bus back to the technical college.
She pressed her cheek against the car window, the glass reflecting her blurry profile. The sounds of laughter and chatter from the back seat drifted past her ears, and she stared blankly at the shadows of the trees passing by outside the window.
Her gaze fell back on Gojo Satoru's sunglasses, and she couldn't help but ask, "So what exactly happened?"
"Shiori has become a child." Panda's voice came from the back row, his furry paws gesturing in the air, "Probably as high as Satoru's thigh."
"Super cute!" Gojo Satoru immediately took over the conversation, covering his face with his hands and shaking them from side to side. The laughter that leaked out from between his fingers was full of unconcealed pride. "You grabbed the corner of my clothes and wouldn't let go, calling me brother in a soft and sweet voice~"
ha?
She pulled Gojo Satoru's clothes and called him brother?
"That's not right." She tilted her head and looked at him, retorting seriously, "Then you should call him uncle."
Gojo Satoru lowered his sunglasses upon hearing this, revealing his cunning blue eyes: "It can't be helped~ After all, Shiori really likes my eyes."
Oh, that's exactly what she would do, Shiori admitted silently. After all, ever since she was very young, she has had no resistance to beautiful things.
"By the way, how did Shiori get hit by the curse caster's spell?" Gojo Satoru put away his joking expression, tapped his knees with his fingertips, and his tone became more serious.
Shiori stroked her chin and thought, her brows unconsciously furrowed. "It seems like they are particularly familiar with my technique..."
"An unregistered special-grade cursed spirit appeared yesterday." Gojo Satoru's fingertips paused, "I'm afraid this isn't a coincidence."
He stretched himself and regained his usual confidence: "But it doesn't matter, after all, I am the strongest."
Shiori glanced at him and said softly, "Even the strongest gets tired."
She paused, her gaze turning to the passing scenery outside the window, her voice firmer, "Since this is targeting me, I'll investigate it myself."
Gojo Satoru raised his eyebrows and was about to say something, but Shiori spoke first.
Shiori met his gaze, her eyes clear. "Besides, aren't we partners? Please lean on me for a bit, Sensei."
Gojo Satoru leaned his head on her shoulder and smiled at her. The sunlight shone through the car window onto his fair face, and his eyelashes cast a light shadow under his eyelids. "Okay!"
"Okay, please don't pose like this." Shiori turned her head to the other side helplessly.
"Hey, because Shiori is very reliable! Let me lean on her a little longer~" Gojo Satoru became more and more demanding and rubbed her.
Panda was listening to the interaction in the front seat in the back seat and couldn't help but laugh out loud.
"Panda, your smile is so disgusting." Zenin Maki glanced at him.
"Salmon." Goujuanji chewed the bread and responded vaguely.
"Hehe, the atmosphere in the teaching group is great." Panda held his face with his paws, his eyes shining.
"Aren't those two people always like this?" Megumi Fushiguro said lightly, looking at the overlapping shadows in the front row.
Yuta Otsutsukota looked at the clouds passing by outside the window and said softly, "It's great to see Gojo-sensei so relaxed."

Despite Shiori Tadano's promise on the bus to personally investigate the matter, she currently had no clue. The curse casters involved in the mission had been executed, and the mission itself was flawless; it was indeed an official order from the Jujutsu Supervisory Council. At this point, she could only calm down and wait for the other party to reveal another flaw.
After that, Gojo Satoru entrusted Otsutsuki Yuta to Miguel, a black magician of the Bankei Cult. The two went abroad to train together, and went to Africa to search for the remaining black rope.
When Shiori passed by the training ground, she saw Gojo Satoru and Fushiguro Megumi standing there, so she walked up to say hello.
"Is this the protagonist of some sports anime? This kid runs so fast!" Shiori looked at the pink-haired boy in the field. She saw the wind caused by his running blowing up dust and sand, and she couldn't help but exclaimed in amazement.
Megumi Fushiguro remained silent and said nothing.
"That's amazing, Hisahito." Gojo Satoru agreed with a smile.
"Yuji?" Shiori stared at the figure and said suddenly, "That child is Yuji Itadori who swallowed Sukuna's finger."
Yuji Itadori gradually slowed down his pace and finally stopped in front of Gojo Satoru: "Teacher Gojo, I'm done!"
Gojo Satoru turned sideways to look at Shiori beside him and introduced her to Itadori Yuji: "Yuji, let me introduce you, this is Shiori Tadano, a first-year teaching assistant."
Shiori smiled at Itadori Yuji: "Yuji, please give me your guidance."
Yuji Itadori immediately straightened his back: "Hello, Mr. Tadono!"
Shiori was stunned for a moment: "Huh? This is the first time someone calls me teacher, it feels so fresh."
Gojo Satoru jokingly said, "You're an adult now, Shiori." Then he clapped his hands and said, "Alright, everyone, go get some rest first. We'll go pick up the third first-year student tomorrow."
As Gojo Satoru turned to leave, Shiori followed him and asked, "Teacher, are you the kind of person who changes your appearance and personality every time you enter a new school year?"
Gojo Satoru tilted his head: "Why do you say that?"
Shiori put her hands next to her eyes and gestured: "Eye patch, eye patch!"

"Miss, are you interested in being a model?"
"No, thank you."
"Think about it again?"
Shiori Tadano took a bite of the crepe she'd just bought in line and glanced at the man who was chasing her. He called himself a talent scout, but there was something inexplicably frivolous in his eyes. She'd heard plenty of rumors: many of those who claimed to be talent scouts were actually scammers trying to get into adultery.
How annoying. How long would this guy keep following her? She still had to hurry and reunite with Gojo Satoru and the others.
Shiori turned around abruptly, frowning and about to open her mouth to scold, but her words were interrupted by a cold voice: "Didn't you hear that she already refused? Please leave immediately."
Before she could finish her words, a blue-haired boy walked up to her. He reached out and gently cupped her face, so close that she could see his long eyelashes, and his warm breath brushed against her nose. "Are you okay, Princess?"
Ah...this...
Even Shiori, who was used to being treated with kindness, was stunned by this sudden intimacy. What's wrong with this kid? His face is too close!
Shiori's face flushed, and even her ears felt hot. She took a step back and said, "I'm fine. Thank you."
After some distance, she was able to take a closer look at him. He was indeed a handsome face, and judging by his uniform, he looked like a high school student. Her gaze unconsciously slid down, stopping when it landed on his waist. Huh? He was wearing a skirt!
After the two exchanged names and contact information, Shiori smiled and suggested, "Kashima-san, how about I treat you to something as a thank you? There's a delicious taiyaki place nearby."
"Kashima!" An angry roar suddenly exploded, and a brown-haired boy with the same school emblem on his chest suddenly rushed out of the crowd and kicked Kashima Yu in the lower back, "Why are you running away again!"
"It hurts, it hurts! Be gentle, Hori-senpai!" Yu Kashima struggled with one hand, trying to shake him off, but stretched out the other hand towards Shiori, his blue hair drawing messy arcs in the wind. "Once I get rid of this, I will definitely come to find you!"
The brown-haired boy half-dragged, half-pulled the person towards the alley entrance. As he passed by Shiori, he turned back and said, "Sorry to bother you, we are from the drama club and we have to get back to rehearsal."
Shiori nodded blankly, watching the two quarreling figures disappear around the corner.
On the other side, in front of the lockers.
Yuji Itadori suddenly pointed diagonally forward, the marshmallow in his hand almost poking his nose: "Gojo-sensei! Look, is that Teacher Tadano over there?"
The three of them looked in the direction he pointed, and a dense mass of heads appeared before their eyes. Fushiguro Megumi frowned and silently stepped aside the passers-by who were blocking the way.
At this moment, the crowd seemed to be torn apart by an invisible hand.
At the end of her field of vision, Shiori was standing side by side with a blue-haired boy in a halo. The boy approached, and the next second, Shiori blushed and took a half step back, her panicked look like a girl who had just been secretly kissed.
“…” The air froze for three seconds.
Nobara Kugisaki's hand, holding the taiyaki, stopped in mid-air, and she and Yuji Itadori opened their mouths wide. Megumi Fushiguro's gaze shifted from that figure to Gojo Satoru beside her.
Gojo Satoru raised his hand and pressed down on Itadori Yuji's head: "Yuji, did you see clearly just now? Did that kid do something too much to our Shiori?"
"Go-Gojo-sensei!" Yuji Itadori grimaced, his hair standing up drooping. "Well, it seems so?"
Gojo Satoru withdrew his hand and walked forward briskly.
He waved his hand gently in front of Shiori's eyes, and said with a nonchalant and playful tone: "You're back to your senses."
Shiori blinked and refocused her gaze on his face: "Teacher, have you finished dealing with things over there?"
"Done," Gojo Satoru put one hand in his pocket and smiled brightly, "Now let's go eat."
Yuji Itadori, Nobara Kugisaki, and Megumi Fushiguro also followed over.
Shiori extended her hand towards Nobara Kugisaki: "Hello, Nobara, I'm Shiori Tadano, a first-year teaching assistant."
Nobara Kugisaki quickly returned the handshake, her eyes sparkling as she surveyed her. "Wow, you look so young! You can't tell she's a teacher at all. Up close, her skin is incredibly good!"
Yuji Itadori next to him suddenly said, "Was that Mr. Tadano's boyfriend?"
Shiori was stunned for a moment and asked, "No, why do you think so?"
"Because we saw you kissing." Yuji Itadori answered seriously.
Shiori: “…”
What's going on?! She briefly explained what had just happened, emphasizing the final words: "Besides, she's a girl!"
Megumi Fushiguro, who was standing aside, glanced at Gojo Satoru calmly. This guy must have known it a long time ago.
