Chapter 7
27.
"What does our technical high school have to do with romance comics?" Tadano Shiori picked up a piece of fried pork cutlet and stuffed it into her mouth, mumbling with her cheeks puffed up. "Teacher, wake up! Even the principal is divorced!"
Gojo Satoru, poking at the croquettes on his plate with his chopsticks, nonchalantly replied, "Huh? Don't Yuta and Rika count?"
"Yes, they are pure love." Shiori's momentum instantly wilted, and she muttered softly, "Although there are some extraneous settings."
She ate a mouthful of rice and swallowed it, her face suddenly falling. "Now that I think about it, that second-year couple also counts... So I'm just an NPC in a romance comic?!"
The villain in Shiori's heart has started to punch: I am almost 20 years old and have never been in a relationship. Gojo Satoru, you really have to take the main responsibility!
She recalled the shock she felt when she first saw Gojo Satoru's full face upon entering school, and it hasn't completely faded away until now.
And this guy always likes to use his face to cast spells from time to time, which always makes her stunned. Good looks really can make you do whatever you want, and she always thinks everything he says makes sense.
Being faced with this level of looks every day has caused her to automatically divide boys into Passerby A, Passerby B and Passerby C when she looks at them. Her aesthetic threshold has been raised to an outrageous level.
Besides, there was only one boy in her class at the same time, Takuma Ino. The most sincere feelings between them were at most "I want to be your father."
As for seniors? Same gender, no! Juniors? Younger, absolutely no!
Shiori slammed the table. "No matter how I think about it, I feel like the reason I can't become the protagonist of a romance comic is all because of you, Sensei. Take responsibility for it!"
Gojo Satoru leaned back exaggeratedly, raising his hands to his chest in surrender. "Huh? Me? How am I supposed to take responsibility?"
Shiori pushed the bill in front of him: "Please pay, thank you."
"Pfft," Gojo Satoru tilted his head and smiled, supporting his chin with one hand. "Alright, alright, it's a request from a cute NPC after all."
28.
"Teacher, could you please use your six eyes to see if you and I are cursed?"
Shiori rubbed her chin, staring at the stamp card in her hand in confusion. She and Gojo Satoru couldn't get the last stamp on the shopping street.
"Maybe." Gojo Satoru also imitated her and held his chin in his hand, thinking, "Could it be a curse that prevents the chapters from being collected?"
"Is this a serious matter?" Yidi Chijiegao, standing next to the two of them, felt that the world in front of him was beyond his comprehension and couldn't help but interrupt.
"Hey! Senior Ijichi, listen to me." Shiori immediately pulled him over and chattered about the series of strange things she and Gojo Satoru had encountered in the past few days in order to complete the last chapter.
The next day, the cake shop was closed. So on the third day, they went to the shopping street early, and luckily, the cake shop was finally open.
But just as they arrived at the store, they encountered an elderly woman dragging several large bags. They couldn't just ignore her. They hurried over to help deliver the luggage to the store. Just as they were catching their breath, they received a call from Yidi Zhijie Gao. They had no choice but to dive into their work and work until midnight. Naturally, they still didn't get the stamp.
On the morning of the fourth day, Shiori and Gojo Satoru were still muttering, "I did a good deed yesterday, so I'm bound to get a good reward today," thinking that the stamp of approval was a sure thing. However, several first-level cursed spirits appeared in the nearby streets, and the two rushed to exorcise them, and were busy until late at night.
On the fifth day, the two of them specifically confirmed that the cake shop was not closed, and went there early as usual, but the owner had sprained his waist and the shop was not open at all.
"And now it's today, Ijichi-senpai, and it's still not covered!" Shiori grabbed the tissue on the table, covered her face with it and pretended to wipe away tears.
"Limited edition desserts and the like don't matter anymore. I just want to get all the stamps done!" Gojo Satoru complained.
"Tomorrow! We must get this final stamp done tomorrow! Even if we have to queue up before the store opens!" Shiori and Gojo Satoru looked at each other, and a raging fire seemed to be burning behind them.
"Yes, that's right." Yiji Chijiegao quickly looked away, really not wanting to watch their performance.
On the sixth day, Shiori and Gojo Satoru once again rushed to the shopping street early.
"Wow - Mom -!" A heart-wrenching cry came from the corner. It was a child's voice, and the two of them stopped in their tracks.
"teacher!"
"Shiori!"
The two of them looked at each other quickly, then walked over quickly to help find the child's mother.
"Okay, Shiori, let's continue getting the stamps." Gojo Satoru said, striding towards the cake shop.
"I'm coming!" Shiori had just taken a step when someone grabbed the corner of her clothes.
She looked down and saw an elderly man in a daze. He was sobbing and unable to speak a complete sentence. Seeing this, the two of them had to fumble around on his body to find his address and worked together to get him back home.
Shizhi said anxiously: "Teacher, it's really time to go collect stamps this time!"
"Yes, yes! Let's go!" Gojo Satoru couldn't wait to take a step forward.
But before they took two steps, they heard the screams of passers-by behind them. They turned around and saw it was the curse spirit again! They had no choice but to turn around and deal with this sudden trouble.
"Teacher, the lights in the cake shop are still on, let's run!" Shiori couldn't count at this moment how many times she had set the "must be stamped" flag in the shopping street.
As he was speaking, the cell phone in Gojo Satoru's pocket suddenly rang - it was Ijichi Jie Gao calling, informing them to go to the sewer immediately to carry out the final combat mission.
"I'm super angry right now." Gojo Satoru arrived at the scene with an expressionless face and killed the cursed spirit with just one blow.
"Every time I see your fighting style, I feel like you are not in the same dimension as us, Mr. Gojo." Nanami Kento said from the side.
"Teacher! Stop chatting! Hurry up and collect the stamps!" Shiori stamped her feet anxiously. After hurriedly saying goodbye to Nanami Kento, she grabbed Gojo Satoru's wrist and dragged him towards the ground.
Gojo Satoru glanced at his wrist which was tightly grasped by her, said nothing, and just obediently followed her forward.
Rushing into the store, Shiori practically grabbed onto the counter and yelled, "Boss! Two stamp promotion items!"
"Okay!" The aproned boss responded with a smile, then pointed to the Mont Blanc on the counter and said, "You can also exchange the limited-edition desserts at my place."
"Very good--!"
29.
"Huh? What is this? It's so disgusting!" Gojo Satoru took a bite of the Mont Blanc in his hand, and a shocked expression appeared on his face.
"Wow! It's so spicy! Why does it taste like curry?" Shiori hurriedly raised her hand to cover her mouth, but the spicy feeling went up her throat and into her nose.
Gojo Satoru angrily threw the Mont Blanc he had taken a bite of back into the box: "This is not even a dessert!"
Ijichi Jiegao, who was driving from the front, stole a glance in the rearview mirror at the two people in the back seat and couldn't help but mutter under his breath, "It seems like Mr. Gojo is really angry."
As soon as he finished speaking, Gojo Satoru's voice came from behind him: "Ijichi, I want to eat something sweet. Let's stop by a delicious dessert shop on the way back."
"Go-Gojo-san!" Ijichi Jiegao's back stiffened, and he felt cold sweat oozing from his forehead. He said in a weak voice, "It's already late at night..."
In the end, Shiori and Gojo Satoru had no choice but to go to a 24-hour convenience store near the technical high school and buy the desserts they wanted.
30.
"cheers!"
Shiori, Zenin Maki, Inumaki Tsuchiya, Panda and Otsutsuki Yuta all raised their large cups filled with Calpis and clinked them together.
"Everyone has been training hard recently. Eat as much as you can today. It's your treat, teacher!" Shiori said with a smile as she pointed at Gojo Satoru who was flipping the barbecue beside her.
"By the way, I also brought souvenirs for everyone. Come and share them." She took out a bunch of small items she bought from the stamp collection in the shopping street from her bag and placed them on the table.
Zenin Maki picked up a plain jar and examined it. Otsutsukotsu held two small fans, Inumaki Satoru held up a pineapple, and Panda picked up the T-shirt with the fluorescent tiger printed on it and said with a confused look on his face, "What's wrong with this shirt?"
Gojo Satoru held up the barbecue tongs and placed the roasted meat on everyone's plate. He smiled and said, "These are the fruits of our sweat and tears."
The four first-year students looked at each other, and the same confusion appeared on their faces. They had no idea what Gojo Satoru was talking about.
31.
After coming out of the barbecue restaurant, the few of them walked slowly along the street.
"I'll buy you some delicious ice cream!" Gojo Satoru enthusiastically clapped his hands and suggested, grabbing Otsutsuki Yuuta beside him, "Yuuta, go with the teacher."
Before Yuta Okkotsu could respond, he was dragged towards the ice cream shop not far away.
Zenin Maki glanced at the boutique next to them, turned her head and said to Shiori, "Let's go in and take a look?" Shiori smiled and nodded, and the two of them walked into the store together.
As for Goujuanji and Panda, they disappeared without a trace at some point.
Not long after entering the boutique, Zenin Maki asked to go to the bathroom, so Shiori had to stand alone under the street light at the door of the store waiting for her.
At this moment, a passerby, sweat beads on his forehead, clutching his phone, hurried towards Shiori. "Excuse me, do you know how to get to this address?"
Shiori understood very well. This was Shinjuku, and getting lost was a perfectly normal thing.
She leaned in closer to take a closer look at the address on the other person's phone screen, then took out her own phone, opened the map, and slid her fingertips across the screen to give him directions: "Go forward from here, after you see the Don Quixote..."
On the other side, next to the window of the 100-yen store, Panda was pulling his dog, Ji, and whispered, "Ji! Look over there!"
Inujuan looked in the direction he pointed and saw Shiori and a strange man standing very close together. They were both staring at their phones, seemingly discussing something seriously. But before he could say anything, Panda dragged him towards the ice cream shop.
"Satoru!" Panda dragged Inumaki all the way to Gojo Satoru and Otsutsuki Yuuta who were receiving ice cream cones, and shouted urgently, "Shiori is being hit on! They are all about to exchange contact information!"
Gojo Satoru immediately took off his teacher's uniform jacket and casually tossed it to the bewildered Yuuta Otsutsukota, revealing the neatly ironed light blue shirt underneath. He then ripped off the bandages that had been wrapped around his eyes and quickly replaced them with a pair of black sunglasses. He said in a deep voice, "Plan S is activated!"
Then he rushed towards the boutique door like a cannonball.
Shiori was using her cell phone to show directions to passersby when a gust of wind suddenly blew past her. Gojo Satoru suddenly stopped in front of her, his sunglasses sliding to the tip of his nose, revealing his deep blue eyes.
"Shiori!" His voice was filled with exaggerated grievance, like a big abandoned puppy. "Yesterday you said you loved my eyes the most, but today you're flirting with another man behind my back? Were all the sweet words and promises you made to me false? Are you going to abandon me in the end?!"
Shiori: “???”
Passerby: “???”
Before the two could react from their surprise, Panda squeezed in and stuffed a pink heart-shaped balloon into the passerby's hand, saying with a smile: "Sir, buy a balloon for your girlfriend. Girls like this!"
The dog next to him, holding two ice cream cones, also shouted, "Salmon!"
Across the street, Zenin Maki, who had just come out of the restroom, was eating an ice cream cone. Seeing this chaotic scene from afar, she couldn't help but frown and asked Otsutsuki Yuta, who was also holding an ice cream cone beside her, "What are they doing? Are they filming a farce?"
Yuta Otsutsuki carefully held up a few ice cream cones, looking at Gojo Satoru dancing with joy, Panda diligently handing out balloons, Goumaki Satoru cheering with his ice cream cone, Shiori who was clearly having a brain freeze, and passersby, and replied helplessly, "I'm not too sure either."
