Chapter 8

"Well done, Yuta, Ji!"
Shiori Tadano walked into the high school's medical room and patted the shoulders of Satoru Inumaki and Yuta Otsutsukota.
She heard from Yidi Zhijie Gao that when they were working together to carry out the designated mission, they accidentally encountered a quasi-first-level cursed spirit, so she came over to check on the two children.
"Come to think of it, could it be that tiger head T-shirt that added a buff to your cooperation?" Shiori joked with a smile.
The tiger-head T-shirt that she and Gojo Satoru bought from the shopping street finally fell into the hands of Inumaki Satoru and Otsutsuki Yuuta. After all, Panda would never wear clothes with other animals printed on them, and Zenin Maki really disliked this pattern.
Upon hearing this, Yuta Otsutsuki rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly and quickly waved his hand: "Actually, it's all Gojuan's fault."
Gojuanji immediately made a big cross on his chest and retorted quickly: "Muyuhua!"
Shiori looked at them, her heart warmed. How wonderful! The vague sense of strangeness she had felt before had now completely dissipated.
Just as she was thinking, Ieiri Glass took out a few vouchers from a cosmetics store from the drawer and handed them to her: "Shiori, this is a store opened by my friend. You can go and have a look when you are on vacation."
Tadano Shiori took the voucher with both hands, her eyes suddenly lit up, and she smiled and said thank you: "Thank you, Senior Glass!"

Masamichi Yaga appointed Gojo Satoru and Tadano Shiori as the leading teachers for this sister school exchange meeting, and asked them to lead the students to Kyoto first, while he would arrive before the exchange meeting began.
The Shinkansen rolled along smoothly. Gojo Satoru leaned back against his seat, his arms folded, seemingly drifting into a light sleep. Otsutsukotsu Yuuta quietly gazed out the window at the rapidly receding scenery. The other students dispersed and took their seats, leaving a quiet atmosphere within the train.
Only Shiori Tadano lowered her head and chatted with her childhood friend Reiko Saito.
"Shiori, I've been feeling like someone's watching me from the shadows lately."
"Sometimes my shoulders feel so heavy as if they were weighed down by lead, and even breathing becomes a struggle, as if I've suddenly forgotten how to breathe."
"And I keep having these messed up dreams. I can't sleep well at all."
Messages popped up one after another, each line filled with lingering fatigue. Shiori was about to ask more when a new message popped up.
"My mother was worried about me, so she took me to see someone."
"Then! After meeting that person, I suddenly felt relieved!"
"Oh right, that person is a handsome guy with small eyes and long hair wearing a five-striped cassock!"
Shiori thought to herself that religious organizations these days really understand young people, even hiring handsome men as their regulars. But then again, handsome men do work. Every once in a while, she'd glance at Gojo Satoru's face and instantly feel like she was okay again.
But the symptoms that Saito Reiko described... they seem like a curse no matter how you think about it.
Her fingertips paused, and she quickly typed out a question: "Where did you meet?"
Saito Reiko's reply came quickly: "In the suburbs of Tokyo, there's a place called Bankei Cult."
"Um?"
Shiori let out a soft cry, and this subtle movement was caught by Gojo Satoru beside her.
"Shiori, what's wrong?"
"Teacher, look at this." Shiori immediately turned the phone towards him.
Gojo Satoru glanced at the screen, casually pulled out his phone, fiddled with it for a few moments, and said casually, "Got it. Leave it to Ijichi. Speaking of which, Shiori has never been to Kyoto, has she? Is there anywhere you'd like to visit?"
"Huh?" Yuta Okkotsu on the opposite side looked over in confusion when he heard this.
Shiori nodded seriously and explained, "I really haven't been there. I've never been sent to Kyoto on any mission before. Even the sister school exchange meetings I participated in when I was a student were always held in Tokyo."
As she spoke, she pulled out a copy of Weekly Shonen Sunday from her bag, quickly flipped to a certain page, pointed at it with sparkling eyes, and said excitedly, "I want to go here! Kiyomizu-dera Temple!"

After the group arrived at Kyoto High School, Shiori Tadano and Satoru Gojo first arranged for the students to go to their rooms to rest, and then turned around to find Utaha An to discuss the exchange meeting.
Shiori sighed helplessly as she watched An Utahime and Gojo Satoru bickering. This kind of scene had become a daily occurrence, and she quietly cleared her mind, standing still. "Let them bicker. Once they've had enough, we can get down to business."
"Shiori? Shiori, are you listening?"
Angeki's voice suddenly brought her attention back.
"Oh, sorry, senior! I was listening!" Shiori suddenly came back to her senses and blinked in surprise. The quarrel was over so quickly today?
"The process is almost the same every year. Sing faster, Diva. I'm very busy." Gojo Satoru interrupted lazily.
"Gojo, you—" Angehime glared at him angrily, then turned to Shiori and said in a slower tone, "Forget it, Shiori, listen to me..."
She explained in detail the precautions and schedule of the exchange meeting, while Gojo Satoru squatted on the ground, supporting his chin with one hand, watching the ants moving with great interest.
"Okay, I understand. Thank you, senior." Shiori nodded seriously and wrote down the key points in her notebook.
"By the way, Shiori," Angeki suddenly changed the subject, her eyes filled with concern, "Why don't you come to Kyoto to take up your post? Will you really not be bullied by Gojo if you stay in Tokyo?"
"Diva, you talk too much." Gojo Satoru said as he stood up, grabbed Shiori's wrist and walked out, "Let's go~"
"Goodbye, senior!"
Shiori was dragged so hard that she staggered and hurriedly turned around to wave goodbye to the singer An.
An Utahime watched the two hurriedly departing figures, feeling a certain tension between them. Sure enough! The junior must have been bullied by that scumbag Gojo! As she watched the gradually shrinking figures, she secretly resolved to persuade this reliable junior to come to Kyoto for a position!
"Teacher, is there a mission?" Shiori Tadano asked staggeringly as she was led forward by Gojo Satoru by her wrist.
"No," Gojo Satoru loosened his hand, the warmth of the fabric still lingering on his fingertips. "But didn't Shiori say she wanted to go to Kiyomizu-dera Temple?"
"I want to go!" The girl's eyes lit up instantly. She grabbed Gojo Satoru's sleeve and shook it, "Let's go!"
As the two stepped onto the Kiyomizu Stage side by side, the wooden corridor creaked slightly from the footsteps of the passing tourists. Shiori opened her phone and showed Gojo Satoru a famous photo of Kudo Shinichi and Mori Ran on the Kiyomizu Stage.
"Teacher," she turned to him, holding up her phone, "please take a picture of me in the same position."
Gojo Satoru took the phone, compared it to the angles in the photo, and gestured a few times, directing her to stand in the right position. Shiori stood still, but suddenly Gojo Satoru handed the phone to a passerby, smiled and said, "Please take a photo for me," and then walked over to her.
"It's clearly a photo of two people," he leaned in closer, "How could Shiori take this photo alone?"
Looking at the taken photos, the same pose, the same background, but the person standing next to him is not the young detective in school uniform, but Gojo Satoru with white hair.
Shiori Tadano always felt that something was strange, but then she thought, it's a pilgrimage, so this seems to be a good idea.

On the first day of the sister school exchange meeting, Tokyo School lived up to expectations and took the lead with an absolute advantage.
After all, they have both the special-grade sorcerer Yuta Otsutsuka, and Kinji Hyō, who has top-notch skills and strength. This duel has almost become a one-sided crushing victory.
Now, everyone just needs to wait for the individual competition to begin the next day.
However, before the game, Shiori Tadano met a particularly annoying guy.
"Oh? You're Yuuta Otsutsuki? You don't look that great."
A man with blond hair and highlights stood directly in front of Yuta Okkotsu, pointing and talking in a frivolous tone.
Down! It's so down! Tadano Shiori was just secretly amazed at this guy's beautiful face, but when he spoke, she wanted to find a needle and thread to sew his mouth shut on the spot. Such a handsome guy, why did he have such a big mouth!
What made her even more angry was that the other party ignored her existence the whole time, as if she was a piece of transparent air, and only cared about saying provocative words to Yuta Okkotsu.
The last guy who dared to look down on her was beaten by her so badly that he never dared to appear in front of her again.
When she was attending a sister school exchange meeting at technical high school, a senior student from Kyoto school probably got intelligence in advance. He knew that although her technique was powerful, it was extremely random. He also thought that since she was a woman, he wanted to suppress her with physical skills.
But her taijutsu was trained by the strongest special-grade sorcerer Gojo Satoru and the strongest first-grade sorcerer Kusakabe Atsuya! That guy is just wishful thinking!
She was so angry that she didn't even use any magic, just used her fists and feet to beat the man until his head was covered with bruises. After that, the senior disappeared completely. She only vaguely remembered that his surname seemed to be Chanyuan.
At this moment, seeing the blond man in front of her constantly provoking her own Yuta and treating her as nothing, Shiori Tadano became furious and immediately activated the spell - [Mom Apron]. As long as the target puts an apron on him, the other party will instantly switch to mom mode.
She took advantage of the man's carelessness and let his guard down, and swiftly threw the apron over him. Thanks to the man's indifference to her, she was able to succeed.
"Let's go, Yuta, we have to go reunite with everyone."
Shiori Tadano pulled Yuta Otsutsuki and walked forward without even looking back at the man with dyed blond hair.
When Yuta Otsutsukoshi saw the blond haired man wearing an apron, he suddenly said in a panic, "I have to go home and cook." He couldn't help but ask Shiori worriedly, "Senior, is he okay like this?"
"It's okay~ Everything will be back to normal in five minutes. Besides, no one is going to complain just because I was a 'mother' for five minutes, right?" Shiori Tadano waved her hand and said nonchalantly.

Zenin Ranta stood quietly at the stone steps in front of Kyoto High School. He lowered his eyes and waited patiently for the appearance of Zenin Naoya.
Finally, the silhouette of Zenin Naoya came into view. Just as Zenin Ranta was about to approach him, he heard him repeating, "I have to go home and cook."
In an instant, Zenin Rantai froze in place, his pupils slightly contracted, and his face was full of disbelief.
It wasn't until Zenin Naoya was about to pass by him that Zenin Ranta suddenly came back to his senses and subconsciously raised his voice, his tone full of astonishment: "??? Lord Naoya!"
He blurted out, his tone inflected, "When did our Chanyuan family... ever need you to cook for us?"
