Chapter 29
119.
Kugisaki Nobara leaned against the kitchen door frame with her arms folded, looking at Gojo Satoru, who was wearing an apron and moving swiftly in front of the stove. She couldn't help but sigh at Panda, who was lying on the ground drying his hair. "I didn't expect that stupid teacher to be so good at cooking."
Panda raised his paw and scratched his face, then said slowly, "Satoru is a perfect person in every way except his personality."
In the kitchen, Shiori was preparing a lobster, her long hair hanging down behind her, getting in the way. She looked at Maki Zenin, who was chopping vegetables beside her. Her high ponytail swayed slightly as she moved, and she couldn't help but ask, "Maki, can you help me tie my hair?"
Zenin Maki responded, washed her hands and walked over, skillfully tied Shiori's long hair up high and tied it into a ponytail like her own.
With her hair tied up, there was a mark on the back of Shiori's neck, as if it had been gently nibbled by something.
"Okay." Zenin Maki withdrew her hand, her gaze lingering on the mark for a second. "A mosquito bite? It's all red."
"Thank you." Shiori continued to process the lobster, wondering when she had been bitten by a mosquito. Wait! This position...
She froze, slowly turned her head to look at Zenin Maki, and said with a dry laugh, "Yes, yes, I was bitten by a mosquito."
"I have medicine in my room. I'll give it to you later." Zenin Maki didn't ask any more questions and turned to get the plate.
Shiori breathed a sigh of relief and handed the cleaned lobster to Gojo Satoru, who was standing in front of the stove, before stomping on him. Of course, Wu Shizhi stopped her.
Gojo Satoru turned his head and raised an eyebrow. "Your face is puffed up like a pufferfish. Did a lobster pinch you?"
Shiori glared at him, but at that moment Yoshino Junpei came over with washed vegetables. She could only say sullenly, "It's okay, my feet are slippery."
After saying that, he quickly walked out of the kitchen and went to find Megumi Fushiguro to help set the table.
Gojo Satoru, you idiot!
Megumi Fushiguro silently watched Shiori put the bowl heavily on the table.
Fushiguro Megumi: ...
He coughed lightly and said, "Leave this to me. Senior Shiori can go and rest for a while."
Shizhi looked at him with sparkling eyes: "Xiaohui is such a good child! Then I won't be polite, hehe."
Looking at Shiori's brisk back, Fushiguro Megumi added silently in her heart: No, he was just worried that everyone would have no bowls to eat at night. Just with those few hits just now, several bowls have been cracked.

On the dining table.
"Teacher Tadano, what's wrong with your neck?" Yuji Itadori pointed at the back of Shiori's neck and asked curiously, "I seemed to see a little red just now."
Shiori frantically pushed her hair back, trying to cover the mark, and stammered, "No, nothing, just a mosquito bite."
Zenin Maki came over with the ointment and handed it to her.
Shiori quickly grabbed the ointment and stuffed it into her pocket, saying hastily, "Thank you, Maki. I'll apply it later."
"The mosquitoes at the beach are so huge," Gojo Satoru suddenly chimed in seriously, extending his hand to show an exaggerated size. "I got bitten several times last night. It was so itchy I couldn't sleep."
Kugisaki Nobara rolled her eyes: "Don't you have no boundaries? You can still be bitten by a mosquito? Who are you kidding?"
Shiori quickly raised her voice to change the subject: "Wow! This lobster is huge!"
As expected, everyone's attention was immediately drawn to the big lobster on the table.
"It looks delicious!" Yuji Itadori's eyes lit up.
Everyone took their seats, and the little incident just now seemed to be quietly diluted by the steaming hot food.
Shiori buried her head in her food, trying not to look at Gojo Satoru. But someone came over and kept picking up food for her. Soon, the food in her bowl had piled up like a small mountain.
The panda on the opposite side laughed.
Panda knows everything, he just doesn’t say it.

After dinner, Shiori stood alone at the sink, washing the dishes. She had contributed the least during the cooking, so she took the initiative and, smiling, pushed everyone who wanted to help out of the kitchen.
The kitchen door behind her was gently opened and then quietly closed. Without turning her head, she said loudly, "No need for help, I can do it alone."
The man didn't respond, but slowly approached and tied the apron around her from behind. Gojo Satoru's voice rang out next to her ear: "Your clothes are going to get wet."
He gently pushed aside the ponytail at the back of her head, and rubbed his fingertips over the red mark on the back of her neck, deliberately drawing out the tone: "Wow, there is really a big red mark here."
Shiori turned her head to avoid his hand, her ears flushed red: "Thanks to you, Wu."
Gojo Satoru simply rested his chin on the top of her head: "Eh—didn't you say it was a mosquito bite? What does it have to do with me?"
Shiori felt like she was being pinned down by a naughty big cat. Her warm breath swept across the top of her head. She was held in his arms, her back pressed tightly against his chest, and even turning around was a little difficult.
"Wu, you're so heavy!" She tried to move forward, but her waist was gently tightened by his arms, which made her stick closer to him.
Gojo Satoru acted as if he didn't hear. He pointed to the sink and said, "I'm here to wash the dishes with you." He added, "Look, I can also help you pass the dishwashing liquid." As he said that, he leaned over to reach the bottle next to him and squeezed a large amount of liquid into the water.
Shizhi said helplessly: "Then can you change your position? I'm afraid my neck can't bear your nearly 200 kilograms weight."
Can you be a little self-aware, Gojo Satoru! You're an oversized cat. You're cute, but you're suffocating!
"Huh?" He straightened up and struck a bodybuilder's pose. "I'm all muscle!"
"Yes, yes," Shiori was amused by him and looked sideways at him, "Then may I ask if this super handsome muscular guy Gojo Satoru could come over and wash the dishes with me?"
"Since Shiori has said so, I will reluctantly agree."
In the following time, he occasionally helped pass a bowl or took the dishes she washed and put them on the drain rack.
The two of them didn't say anything else. The only sounds in the kitchen were the running water and the clatter of dishes.
Outside the kitchen door, Nobara Kugisaki was grabbing Yuji Itadori's collar tightly, while Panda was blocking the door with his chubby arms outstretched.
Yuji Itadori: "But I'm really thirsty."
Kugisaki Nobara: "Just bear with it a little longer, you idiot!"

As soon as Shiori opened the kitchen door, the noise outside stopped abruptly.
Nobara Kugisaki was holding the back of Yuji Itadori's collar, and Panda's round body was blocking the door like a wall of flesh.
Shiori glanced at the three of them and asked in confusion, "What are you doing here?"
Gojo Satoru poked his head out from behind her: "Are you rehearsing the program for the exchange meeting?"
Kugisaki Nobara hurriedly dragged Itadori Yujin around Panda and rushed to the kitchen: "Let's drink some water."
Shiori's gaze fell on Panda, who still held his arms outstretched. Panda met her gaze and replied honestly, "I'm drying it."
Shiori suppressed her laughter and nodded, then walked around him. Behind him, Gojo Satoru reached out and patted Panda's shoulder, and the two exchanged a knowing look.
The president of Kyoto Polytechnic will be arriving tomorrow to discuss the details of the exchange meeting, and they will also be returning tomorrow. Shiori analyzed the opponents of this exchange meeting for everyone and held a brief group meeting.
After the meeting, Panda sat on the corner of the sofa, holding his phone, and posted the photos he had taken at the beach over the past two days on Instagram. As soon as he clicked send, a like notification from Yuta Otsutsuki popped up.
"I don't know how You Tai is doing." Panda murmured, holding his cheek.
The dog sitting next to him responded, "Salmon."
Shiori came over with a cup of water and sighed when she heard this: "Besides, Yuta is a kid who only reports good news and never bad news."
Zenin Maki scoffed, "That idiot."
Yuji Itadori came over and asked curiously, "Which country is Otsutsuki-senpai in?"
Gojo Satoru shook the strawberry milk in his hand and replied, "Yuta should be in South Africa now."
Kugisaki Nobara gasped in amazement: "It's so far! Are there so many cursed spirits even that far away?"
Megumi Fushiguro, flipping through a book, replied without looking up, "No, there are actually very few cursed spirits overseas."
Gojo Satoru suddenly jumped up from the sofa: "Since everyone is so worried about Yuta, why don't Shiori and I just fly over to take a look?"
Shiori was stunned for a moment and asked, "Ah? Us? What about the students?"
Gojo Satoru walked over and put his arm around Shiori's shoulders: "Aren't Kusakabe and the principal still here?"

Cape Town International Airport, South Africa.
The lights in the international arrivals area were dazzling, and the clatter of people dragging their suitcases, conversations in various languages, and announcements from the PA blended together.
Miguel whispered, "What's that man doing here?"
Yuta Otsutsuki's eyes never left the automatic door of the arrival gate. He shook his head and said, "I don't know either. Gojo-sensei only sent me the flight landing time."
As soon as he finished speaking, two familiar figures appeared from behind the automatic doors. Gojo Satoru walked ahead, one hand in his pocket, while Tadano Shiori followed behind, carrying a paper bag. Otsutsukota's eyes lit up, and he quickly stepped forward to meet them.
"Gojo-sensei, Shiori-senpai."
Gojo Satoru raised his hand: "Yuta~ Because everyone is super worried about you, Sensei and Shiori took a 25-hour flight to come see you. Are you touched? By the way, airplane food is terrible!"
Yuta Otsutsukota smiled with his eyes curved. "I'm very happy, thank you. But...is everything okay at the exchange meeting?"
"Don't worry." Gojo Satoru waved his hand, "We'll be back before the exchange meeting starts."
Shiori didn't respond. Her eyes fell on the dark circles under Yuta Otsutsukota's eyes. She put the gift bag on the ground and said, "Sorry to interrupt your conversation."
Then she put her arm around Yuta Otsutsuki's arm and turned to look at Miguel beside her, her brows furrowed tightly. "Mr. Miguel! Why does our Yuta have such dark circles under his eyes? Doesn't he ever sleep?"
At first glance, she thought her child had learned bad things outside!
Miguel: "...Are you his mother?"
