Chapter 30 God's Help

Chapter 30 As if God Helped

What about her daughter? An Ran felt a dull pain in her heart. She took her hand back from the blue light box blankly and looked around the huge blue light room. Except for the remaining incubator, there were no children crying. There were only two children who did not turn into monsters. The rest were either eaten or grew fangs silently.

With a "clang", the remaining blue light box was overturned by the two zombies.

The baby inside, along with the box with the blue light, fell to the ground together, crying even louder. The lid of the blue light box was smashed open, and one of the zombies found the way and reached out to the baby inside.

An Ran turned her head and looked at the baby's face. Although the baby was blindfolded, in the blue light, An Ran still felt that the baby's face gave her a familiar feeling. How could it be so much like Zhan Lian? Every mother can recognize her child at a glance from some of the baby's facial features. Although the mother and the child may have only met briefly, and although the newborn babies all look similar with wrinkled faces and are difficult to identify, the ability to recognize one's own flesh and blood at a glance is an innate ability of a mother.

She was shocked and delighted, screamed, rushed over with a knife, pounced on the zombie, knocked the zombie to the ground, and stabbed it with the knife.

Before she could pull out her fruit knife from the zombie's brain, a zombie bit her neck from behind. An Ran twisted her body desperately and stepped back, falling on the zombie. After a while of struggling, she screamed and became ruthless, crazy, and mad. As if helped by God, she cut off the zombie's arm that was hugging her, and finally struggled free.

She didn't care about the two tooth holes on her neck. She had a lot of tooth holes on her body anyway. She just turned around, took out the knife and stabbed the armless zombie behind her to death.

Whoever touches her daughter will die! In the broken blue light box, the child wearing only a diaper was still crying. An Ran threw away the knife in her hand and reached out to hug the child. Then she thought of the dirty blood on her hands. She cried and wiped her dirty hands on her clothes. Then she carefully took the child out of the blue light box.

She opened the bracelet on the child's wrist and saw the words "An Ran" written on it. This is her daughter! It really is!

That's great, that's great, thank God, thank Guanyin Bodhisattva, thank God Jesus, thank Chairman Mao! An Ran cried and laughed, thanking everyone she could thank in her heart, and then she kissed her daughter's face in a mess. Her daughter's eyes were still covered with a black cloth, her head tilted, her mouth weakly moaning, her throat seemed to be hoarse from crying, and she instinctively leaned towards An Ran's chest.

"Hungry, hungry, right? You are hungry."

An Ran wiped away her tears and spoke gently to her daughter. She didn't feel any pain anywhere now, even though she had just been bitten on the neck by a zombie. But An Ran felt that at this moment, her condition was very good, better than ever before. After finding her daughter, she felt like she had completed a transformation. She was full of energy. It was really as if she had received divine help. Her mind was so clear that she even started to get excited!
