Chapter 71 The knife is broken again
Look at those zombies, their blood is mixed with brain matter, as sticky as yogurt, and the brain tissue is the Orange Juice added in the yogurt.
So An Ran now has no way to distinguish what is Orange Juice, brain tissue, and diamond with her naked eyes. She has to pinch the particles with her fingers to feel them.
Hu Zhen held the knife in his hand, prepared himself mentally, and mustered up the courage to walk into the door. He just happened to see An Ran squatting on the ground, touching the white and tender brain tissue in a pool of black, sticky liquid that looked like asphalt.
She was stunned for a moment, but couldn't hold it in, so she turned around, leaned against the wall, bent over and vomited.
An Ran put down the brain flower she was twisting, picked up a diamond and put it in her pocket, turned around and looked at Hu Zhen's back, without saying anything, she just stood up, wiped her hands on her clothes, pointed to a large pot of green plants on the side of the escalator, and said to Hu Zhen:
"Please help me move this potted tree to the ward, thank you."
An Ran didn't know what kind of tree this was. The tree was covered with a lot of zombie brains, and black yogurt was dripping on the green leaves, with some bone fragments in the yogurt.
An Ran felt that the tree was always blocking her view here. If she accidentally kicked it over, that would not be good. She inexplicably felt like she was bullying a small tree, so she simply moved the tree to her own ward.
While vomiting, Hu Zhen turned back and made an "OK" gesture to An Ran. The sound of her vomiting attracted some zombies on the escalator to find the right direction and climb up. An Ran didn't have time to pay attention to Hu Zhen as she was busy killing her zombies.
When Hu Zhen finally stopped vomiting, he turned around and ran with the tree that An Ran had ordered. The tree was not very tall and it was impossible to tell what kind it was. The leaves were wide and large, and the end where it was planted in the pot had been trimmed very neatly. Hu Zhen carried the large potted plant all the way back to the ward. As soon as he put the potted plant on the ground, he found a pile of zombie brain stems in the area covered by the leaves.
She couldn't help but lie on the ground and retched. Before she finished vomiting, An Ran pushed the door open. Hu Zhen pointed at the white part of the leaves. An Ran said "Oh" and didn't react much. She went to see the baby.
Baby is sleeping well. She doesn't wake up as easily as she did in the past few days. She can basically sleep for an hour and a half. This may be because she is separated from Hewen. The two children no longer wake each other up. Anran has much less to do every day, and her sleep has improved a lot.
However, it was hard to tell whether her face was rosy or not. Anyway, there was black blood all over An Ran's face, and she didn't wipe it off.
"Why did you come back?"
Hu Zhen, who was standing behind him, finished vomiting, stood up and walked to An Ran's side. He raised his hand, took a tissue from the bedside table of his bed No. 17, wiped his mouth, looked at the knife in An Ran's hand, and asked again:
"Is the knife broken again?"
"Well, it's not durable." An Ran tucked the corner of the quilt for the baby, raised the crooked fruit knife in her hand, and said to Hu Zhen: "I'm afraid you have to find a few more knives."
A scalpel would be the best, but the operating room is on the top floor. Before the safety hazard on the third floor is resolved, An Ran cannot run to the top floor to kill zombies. As her skill in killing zombies becomes better and better, An Ran feels more and more the importance of the knife in her hand. If she could have a scalpel as a weapon now, it would definitely be much better than a fruit knife.
