Chapter 25 Junk Advertising

Chapter 25 Junk Advertising

The warmth and satisfaction in his heart instantly filled to the brim, like a bulging balloon, nearly overflowing. But as he looked at Chen Rui's slightly reddened ears, his gleaming eyes, and his awkward attempt at forced composure, the gentle lake in Lin Yan's eyes was quickly overtaken by another, stronger, more primitive emotion, one that carried a sense of predation and possessiveness.

He lowered his head, his tall nose nuzzling against mine affectionately, our breaths mingling, so close our eyelashes chattering. His voice sank even lower, a bewitching magnetism etched in it, like a feather scratching the very spot at the heart. "I'm looking forward to the gift... I'm looking forward to it." He paused, his breath blazing across my lips. "But... I'd like to collect some 'interest' right now."

Before I could finish my words, warm lips pressed against mine, unwavering and domineering, carrying an irresistible force and a deep attachment that instantly drowned my breath and swallowed up all my unspoken protests and questions. This kiss was more passionate, lingering, and profound than ever before, filled with relief after the storm of jealousy had subsided (luckily, he was just asking about the gift), a sense of cherishment like having found something I had lost (this idiot was actually putting so much thought into me?), and... a burning desire completely ignited by this clumsy gesture.

Lin Yan's kisses made my vision go black, my waist went limp, my back pressed against the cold door, and in front of me was his scorching body and even scorching lips. Finally, when he pulled away slightly, giving me a moment to breathe, I seized the opportunity, panting and muttering intermittent curses: "...Fuck... Lin Yan... you fucking... look where you're going!... This is outside the equipment room!... Someone could be walking by at any moment!... What the hell is wrong with you..."

Lin Yan's kiss lingered on my incredibly sensitive earlobe, and he bit it gently with his teeth as if to punish me. He felt the person in his arms tremble violently and whimper almost out of his mouth with satisfaction. He laughed softly, and his hot breath penetrated my cochlea, carrying some dangerous, knee-weakening hint:

"Looks like... I have to go home early tonight." He paused meaningfully, his tongue licking the spot he'd just bitten. Feeling my instant tenseness, his voice was unusually hoarse, "Settle my 'interest' properly... and..." He pulled away a little, staring at my blushing, misty face in the dim light, his lips curled up in a determined arc, "...Teach you, next time you want to know what birthday gift I'd like, who should you ask."

The last word fell with an unquestionable meaning, followed by another deeper kiss with a strong sense of punishment and possession, which completely sealed all my confused thoughts and possible rebuttals.

Outside the equipment room, the occasional hurried footsteps and muffled conversations of students could be heard. Behind the door, in the small, dim, and cramped space filled with the smell of detergent, the temperature was rising uncontrollably, the air so thick it felt like it could be pulled into threads. The fourth child, who had been ordered to "keep a good eye on" his girlfriend, was probably still outside, glaring at Xiaoyou, his hair disheveled in the wind. And I, the unfortunate goblin who had been forced to pay a high "interest" in advance, was left with only a few intermittent, steaming thoughts:

It's over... Tonight's "physical training" is going to be hellish... Also... I'm just asking about a birthday present... What kind of loan sharking is this?! The interest is ridiculous!

The last syllable of Lin Yan's "I'll teach you who to ask" still lingered on my eardrums, tinged with burning sparks. He kissed me so hard that I felt like I was leaving the house, practically half hanging from him, my steps unsteady as he half-carried, half-supported me back home.

As soon as I walked in, my phone started buzzing like crazy. The name of Lao Si's girlfriend, Xiao You, flashed across the screen, followed by a string of WeChat messages. My heart skipped a beat, a bad feeling. Slumping on the sofa, I clicked on Xiao You's overly lively profile picture. What I saw instantly made me black out, nearly choking back the breath I'd just taken from Lin Yan.

The screen is full of shopping links! Pink, white, lace, cat ears... The titles are even more eye-catching:

[Sex Toy Must-Have] Super Cute Cat Tail Bell Set ~ Let the Owner Rua as Much as He Wants!

"[Highly recommended] Pure and sexy maid outfit + apron, unlock a new play experience!"

"JK uniform sailor suit three-piece set! Pure school girl online waiting to be flirted with ~ graduation season limited edition!"

How can this be considered a birthday gift?! This is a death warrant for my kidneys and butt, tailor-made for me! If Lin Yan saw this, he'd tie me to that damn cat's tail and hang me on the bedside as a decoration!

A cold sweat broke out. I frantically tried to close the page, almost wanting to shove my phone into the crack of the sofa. But just then, the sofa next to me sagged, and Lin Yan, fresh from a shower, leaned over. His chin rested on my shoulder as usual, and his voice, a lazy, hoarse after-effect, breathed hot air behind my sensitive ear. "What are you looking at? So engrossed?" His slender fingers naturally reached out to grab my phone.

I was so scared that I almost reflexively slammed the phone screen against my chest. My heart was pounding so hard that it seemed like it was going to break my ribs, and the color drained from my face.

"Nothing...nothing!" My voice cracked, and my eyes were as terrified as a cat whose tail was stepped on. "It's rubbish! It's all rubbish!"

Lin Yan paused. His chin, resting on my shoulder, lifted slightly, and he tilted his head to look at me. His warm breath still lingered on my neck, but his eyes, so tender just moments ago, were now like the surface of a frozen lake, their calm revealing a piercing scrutiny. The lazy smile on his face hadn't completely faded, but it had solidified into an extremely strange expression. The corners of his mouth even maintained a slight curve, but the temperature in his eyes had quickly dropped to freezing point.

"Oh?" He hummed a single note, his gaze darting back and forth between the phone I was clutching tightly and my pale face. His gaze was so sharp it seemed to pierce through flesh and pierce my heart. "What kind of rubbish advertisement could scare our Brother Chen like this?" He reached out, not to snatch the phone, but to gently and slowly brush his fingertips against my cheek, which was tense with nervousness. The touch made my hair stand on end. "Be good," he said, his voice low and dangerous, with a gentle, coaxing tone, "Tell your husband, what is it?"

I was even more frightened by his state. It was a hundred times more terrifying than when he pressed me down and kissed me in the equipment room! That expression, that tone, it was like the suffocating calm before the storm! Alarm bells were ringing in my head, and the phantom pain in my butt was instantly clear. No, I couldn't let him see this! Not even if I killed him!

In this desperate situation, only one thought remained in my mind—negotiation! I turned my head, forcing myself to meet his bottomless eyes, and my voice trembled, even unconsciously: "Lin Yan...you...you have to promise me first! No matter what you see, pretend you didn't see it! Pretend nothing happened! Okay?"

As soon as I said this, I felt something was wrong. This was simply a confession!

Sure enough, the last trace of smile in Lin Yan's eyes completely disappeared. The muscles of his arms that were supporting me tensed instantly, and I could clearly feel the suppressed, surging undercurrent in his body, like a volcano about to erupt. He stared at me, his Adam's apple rolling, as if he was trying hard to restrain some extremely violent emotions, with incredible pain and an almost crazy sinisterness surging in his eyes. After several seconds, he squeezed out the word very slowly, almost through his teeth: "Okay." The smile returned to his face, but it was so cold that there was no warmth at all, "I promise you."

I watched his "laugh," which was uglier than crying, and my heart felt like it was being gripped by an icy hand. A wave of fear washed over me. It's over. My butt is really going to break this time... No, maybe it's more than just my butt...

Trembling, I moved my phone a little further from my chest. My fingers trembled as I tried to open the chat with Xiaoyou, my mind racing over how to explain these damn links. However, just as I was about to heroically sacrifice myself and open the conversation, a miracle happened!

On the screen, next to Xiaoyou's lively avatar, it said:

"The other party withdrew a message"

"The other party withdrew a message"

"The other party withdrew a message"

More than a dozen messages seemed to have disappeared from the face of the earth!
